This was one of the best customer service experiences I've had! I made three visits to this store,…read morespeaking to Adrian on the first two occasions, and to Miles on my third visit. They were both extremely helpful and, ultimately, solely thanks to them, my Cricket Wireless problem was solved. I have been a Cricket Wireless customer for several years and, thus far, I'd had no complaints. However, in my experience, when upgrading current customers to 5G, Cricket Wireless did a shoddy job re: preemptive support. Somewhere around last October, 2021, I started receiving texts to say that as of February 2022, my phone would no longer function on the Cricket network. As I had replaced my phone only 18 months previously, I called the number suggested to check whether my "new" phone would work. I was told it would not and that I would need a new phone. Several of my friends know about such things, (plus an affirming conversation with a T Mobile rep!), felt it should work perfectly well. Confusion! I visited the Cricket store in Alameda, where Adrian also told me my phone should work on the network; he suggested waiting until the change to 5G took place and to come back if there was a problem, promising to sort it out. Bottom line: my phone stopped working. Off to Alameda! Adrian was not at the store at that time, Miles was! He said all I had to do was call and have my phone unlocked. I tried to do this then and there but my call to Cricket dropped off. I called back but was told there would be an 18 minute wait. Miles took over and, through his computer, chatted with cricket wireless. Within minutes, my phone was working. A HUGE thank you for the support from both Adrian and Miles. If you have a Cricket problem, it is worth driving to this store for the wonderful, personable service. Plus, they sell all sorts of other things at the store too! Fascinating place...big thumbs up!

I am/was attempting to retire at 72 so I paid the bill over time. I have bank statements and credit card receipts to show the account was paid in full. I now have gotten an alert that Verizon is stating the bill is in collections and it was paid in full. Attempting to get someone that speaks English and listen to me is exhausting. I will NEVER use Verizon again as I was a 20 year + customer. Poor customer service for what I thought was a stellar company. The people in the stores will not assist either I was told that is not what the store does. I am disgusted with this company and their lack of service and ability to speak with the public. Oh the phone number provided for customer service is a joke it is a recording that hangs up on you. I had auto pay and was never late. Good luck to the fools that go with this company.

**RACIALLY PROFILED & DEFRAUDED** I went into this store on…read moreThursday to add a new device to an existing and dormant phone line on my account. When I went into the store, we approached the counter and I let the guy know that I intended to "add a device to a line". Without ever looking up or acknowledging me he starts scrolling on an iPad. I asked him, "Are you looking up phones because I can do that myself?" He eventually asks what phone I am looking for and I basically tell him I want a low cost device. He states that I cannot add a phone to an existing line, I must add a new line to obtain a device promo cost.. He tells me the first two phones I request are not in stock (and it is clear he does not want to help me). So I ask if he can call another store to check inventory and he says they don't share inventory which I did not ask. ALL OF THIS WITHOUT ASKING FOR MY PHONE NUMBER. ***Note I am currently on the phone with T-Mobile*** I continue to engage because I need to get a phone. So I point to a phone tell him it's the one I want for $99. He then asks for my account info and my ID. He never considered my account status when selling me the device that he clearly didn't feel like selling, though he offered the iPhone devices which was not interested in. [I told my husband I honestly felt that the guy made a judgment of us when came into the store. I don't know if it was based on our race or casual appearance or maybe the locale of the store Google maps routed us to.] Yet, as a Black woman ibwas determined to not be dismissed by this man regardless of his behavior. I eventually settled on a device. He told me I would incur a cost of $20 for the additional line, but my fees would be $4 a month. I asked him to explicitly outline the line item charges so I would not have any surprises on my bill. He said there would be a charge of about $16 per month for the phone and a credit of about $12 per month, having a total cost of about $4 per month. He never said, they monthly cost would increase by approximately $24 per month with the additional line charge for an additional line I DID NOT NEED. I finally had time and energy to contact T-Mobile today. The woman I spoke to was very professional, understanding, and pleasant. She understood this entire matter as I conveyed it. She said that I could have added a device to the dormant line one my account, but the phone that I had selected was an "add a line" promo. The guy did not explain that to me. Had he done so, I would have made a different choice. In fact, he suggested I had to add a line even before I eneded up selecting that device. In hindsight, he deprived me of the other devices to bait me into adding a line just to get a phone. At one point I wondered if he was attempting to meet a new account sales quota and decided I would seek resolution on the back end via customer service. I have not been made whole to date. I even called the store three times on April 23rd at 3:53 pm to complain to a manager. My calls were never answered at which point I left an angry voice mail stating that I learned online that I was not required to add a line to get a new device. Had I had that information I would have made a different selection, but this guy deprived me of that option when he defrauded me. I want T-Mobile to credit me for the cost of the device that I was manipulated into purchasing. The additional line charge has been removed, but now I am being billed for the phone with NO PROMO CREDIT. I WAS TRICKED. This experience was more overwhelming than it should have been. I think some people get. A kick out of thinking they have out smarter Black people. It's very sad.
