She was very helpful, listened to what I wanted and what I needed to do with my current phone and plan . She explained everything perfectly and got me in and out pretty quickly. There isnt a rating that goes low enough to rate Verizon. I have been a Verizon customer for years. Four months ago my family and I went into Verizon to look into upgrading our phones and they explained that they were having a great deal on phone upgrades plus adding new devices (apple watch and ipad) for extremely cheap as long as we signed for a two year contract. Plus this deal would actually save us quite a bit of money in the end, so we signed up for it. Fast forward four months and our bill every month has been going up by hundreds, promotions that were originally on our contract were deleted and taken off, the services that we had signed up for had been changed behind the scenes, we were charged late fees on an account that was never paid late, and instead of paying what we were contracted to pay monthly which was suppose to be roughly $230, we have been consistently charged almost $550 every month. We have ben to the stores in person and was promised that everything was fixed and taken care of, and we received documentation of everything. Our bill has only progressively gotten worse. We escalated the mater to the corporate level and absolutely nothing has happened except them, once again, raising our bill and changing our contract with ZERO consent from us. The manager in charge of our case refuses to take our calls, respond to our messages and has done absolutely nothing to assist our case since he was made aware, a month ago. All we want now is to break all ties with Verizon and we want reimbursement of the insane amount that they have overcharged us. Instead, we are getting run around and ignored while they are taking $100 of extra funds from us every month. Reimbursement would have cost less than $600 from Verizon and we would have broken the contract and simply gone to a different carrier. Since Verizon has absolutely no morals and has consistently refused to refund our money that they have legitimately stolen from us, we are instead taking legal action which will cost Verizon a LOT more than the money they owe us, but we are past that now. For anyone thinking of switching to them, please save yourself the financial and mental suffering that we have dealt with and choose a different carrier. read more

I have had problems with this store start of being a customer here. The first associate I dealt with for my wife's IPhone was phenomenal and from there it was garbage service and lame excuses. Today I went to get help with a screen protector and was dismissed with we can't help you with that. There customer service was atrocious and nonexistent I have had better service in New Hampshire, Maine, and California. I am ready to switch carriers. read more

So we swapped to Verizon from T-Mobile. After six years of T-Mobile, they were not offering any bonuses or discounts for being a loyal customer. We needed some new phones, different programs as the kids are off at college. After doing some research, we decided to try T-Mobile. They were offering free phones with a 36 month contract. Also some services like Disney+, etc. We received the phones in the mail, and they had made some mistakes on what we ordered so we had to go into the office. Upon arrival, there was a man that greeted us and checked us and told us it would be a 20 minute wait. Waiting about 15 minutes, help us. He was very patient and helpful. He went above and beyond what we were actually trying to get done. He noticed there was a problem with the phone, so he took the time to redo all of the numbers we were bringing from T-Mobile. So it was pretty seamless transition. So far, we are very happy with Verizon. read more

I went in to trade my old phone for a new one, during the interaction I had with the associate he asked me about the promotions for Netflix/disney bundles. He asked if I wanted to sign up and add them to my bill, I had declined. I later looked at my bill on my phone and was charged for both Netflix/disney bundle, as well as an insurance charge I was never asked about. All of these extra charges added up to about 50 extra dollars. I called the Verizon line on the app and they helped me. But I do not recommend going to this store for trade ins, do it through the Verizon customer service number in the app. They will add charges to your account that you declined or charges they never asked/spoke about. read more

So we finally switched companies to T Mobile, see T Mobile Yelp review. Atmosphere - Corner location in a mall. Easy in and out. Plenty of mall parking, as they are in the corner. Open 7 days a week, 9am or 10 am to 5pm or 7pm. See Yelp or website. Service - 3 stars because the team member was so nice, told her that we are leaving Verizon and needed our account # and pin to transfer our #s to T Mobile. She gave me the "transfer" department # to call. And said that they can help me with what I need. 1.5 Stars - I did not give the transfer team an opportunity to keep me as a customer, because I know that is their job. If you can't take me seriously the last few years when I shared that you are way overpriced compared to your competitors, don't try to keep me now. So after cutting off the sales pitch from the transfer team, it still took me 2 phone calls and 17 minutes to get my transfer pin #. And they still could NOT give me my account #. They told me to look it up myself on my online account. Seems like I keep getting the runaround... Price - Too expensive especially compared to their competitors. I walked in without an appt and an employee approached me immediately, took my phone number and showed me how to erase the old phone from my new phone. My poor old phone completely died and I was at the mercy of Daniel, the Manager and Blake customer service to get me going again. After explaining my situation and getting checked in by Daniel I had a short wait. Being Sunday they were very busy! With a dead battery I was hopeful my phone would get a little charge or I would lose everything on my phone that wasn't backed up in the cloud I was told so while it was plugged in Blake went over my options and worked hard to get me the best bang for my buck! We chatted easily and he was very friendly. I ended up deciding on an IPhone 13 and Blake found it was on promotion half off! Score! Also I opted for a cord charger package which was half off. Lucky day! Blake noticed I had an old Kate Spade case and came out with several new ones he thought I'd like. I picked one out and was very happy. He even put the case on for me! Finally my old phone showed a glimmer of life and Blake helped me get my data transferred over to the new phone. He was patient explaining what I needed to do and didn't rush me out. I am thrilled with my new phone and was able to put it on my next bill except for paying for tax and the upgrade fee. Very good experience here! read more

I like that I can zip in and pay my bill with cash at their self service ATM. It's located close to the freeway for easy access when I'm out doing errands. There's plenty of free parking. read more

When I was hired at my new job, I treated myself to a updated phone (I had been using an iPhone 6) along with changing my service providers since my new company uses Verizon (and provides a credit for Verizon). They gave me a good price for the trade-in and Verizon cellphone service is excellent. However, my issue is that they are really aggressive with trying to sell their accessories and their prices are not really comparable to other locations. The tech was even argumentative with me about how I absolutely needed a $34 screen cover. Even when I showed him my old phone's screen without 1 scratch on it (having owned it for at least 3 years), he still tried to push the screen saver. It was fairly aggressive. I ended up just purchasing the "critical accessories" being pushed on me just to get the sales person to STFU and returned them the next day. (Without issue, so that was a plus). Also, my on boarding did not go smoothly, since I do not have a home phone and knew that I needed to be able to access my phone during a call to tech support, I had to go back into the Verizon store to resolve the issue. I was a little annoyed that the tech support was talking down to me slightly at first (I assume because I am a woman), but after I told them I received my degree in Computer Science and worked in IT myself they where less condescending. It took about an hour but the on boarding issue was resolved. read more

I have been a verizon customer for 30 years now, never having a problem. My bill was 375 dollars a month and all of a sudden more then 8 months ago they jacked my bill up over 1000.00 with no explanation. And now I let them shut me off and without permission they are taking money out of my account without permission. About 2 weeks ago they took 2 payments over $400 dollars each and I called and made them reimbursement me because they did it without permission. And now after the phones got shut off they do it again. I'm thinking of bringing a lawsuit against them. read more

The employee informed me that they no longer install protective screens on phones anymore. And they also did not have a screen protector for my phone in stock. Went in to buy a screen protector for a brand new Apple Watch Ultra 2 and charged me $25.00 plus tax and when I asked to have the watch activated the employee wanted to charge me $30.00 when I bought the Apple Watch from Verizon. I don't have enough words to describe the absolute horrid customer service I received on my recent visit to this Verizon Store. It was hands-down the *worst* experience I have ever had dealing with any local business--and I'be been a Verizon customer for 15+ years! I first went in to the Reno location for a simple name error on my account---one I couldn't fix online. I made my appointment, went in, was told the it was fixed, found out the next month it wasn't, went back online, went back to the store... insert hamster in a squeaky ball here. This frustrating cycle repeated for a year and a half. Finally, on my visit last week, the store manager told me there was nothing more he could do. He actually said that I "should thinking about switching to AT & T" to fix the problem. Yes you read that correctly. The Reno Verizon store manager told me to go to the competition because his store was so inept that they couldn't get a name on an account spelled correctly. Ironically, the spelling mistake was one the had made on my account in the first place! There is a reason why I've been with Verizon for so long. I love their rural coverage and streamlined billing services. But this store is a horrible representation of what, up until now, has been a long history of stellar customer service. I ended up reaching out to another Verizon agent out of state. They fixed the problem in a 10-minute phone call. Done. Learn from my experience, friends. Verizon is great, but the Reno location completely awful--so awful that customers like me will drive to all the way to Sacramento in order to avoid their crappy customer service. Plan accordingly. Tricky use of words to hook you into staying on a contract. Phone one was a Trade in phone and told was not up to their standard even though perfect shape as new. Phone #2 box delivered empty and charged for phone even though it can not be used or activated by whoever stole the phone. I resent the implication made by Verizon after 20 plus years of being a paying customer and never being late. Told them to look at their employees in shipping and or ups as the box had been retaped and inner phone box torn with phone removed. Corporate greed with no insurance on their part to cover it. They throw it on us and many others. Spent many hours trying to straighten the mess out and finally told them to bill us on any overage so we can pay for our freedom to leave the corporate bull they have become. The latest on my trade in phone one is that now that they have it there is no trade in value as the phone trade in did not apply on that program. Changed after they received my trade in phone with their return box and now they have my original phone and I get no credit so there is no $830 credit on my new 15 pro which I just paid over $1100 for out of pocket. Phone 2, My wifes phone which arrived as empty box seems that I am now not being charged for it. I look at it as they lose phone #2 in transit at take the value of it in the trade-in made on my phone #1. Verizon has changed it all from one day to another but when the smoke settles my phone has to be unlocked as it was paid for by us and we will move away from Verizon. They are vague about the phone lost in transit. Not one "Verizon support representative" has been able to explain anything to me that I understand about either phone. Its like walking through a minefield in the fog. Not one clear decision on their part. Am I being charged for a phone #2 stolen in transit? They got my trade in on my Pro 15 which is phone #1 and removed the trade in value on my trade in phone which was a Pro 11 Max. They kept the trade-in phone which they originally valued down to $200 because of condition instead of the promised $830. The condition was excellent as we moved towards the modern iphone 15. They then moved the value to $0 when they said I did not qualify for the program because I paid cash for the phone. If that is so, they knew what our contracts were when they took our order for the 2 phones and our phone plans as was done by the Verizon support rep. Their offer made by their people online and not done in a store. Tricky BS offers and smoke on followup with the customer. When the smoke settles we will move to a more honest carrier than Verizon if there is one. i can not believe that they could screw up on 2 phones and throw it on us. I think back to last deal which was a trade-in some 4 years ago for the 11 pro and they lost our trade-in and said they had not received it. I had a copy of the delivery to them by UPS tracking. 2 days later it magically showed up in their records. Like I said, all about corporate greed, they are the carnivores and we are the meat. The latest is the have given the BS $200 credit on my trade in to hope they have me back on their hook. I dont want the trade-in credit at any level now. I travel a lot in Northern Nevada and my carriers service away from the Interstate Highway was only fair. A friend suggested I check with Verizon and that their service was fairly good away from the Interstate. I decided to visit the local Verizon store and see what they had to say and what they could do for me and that's where my problems began. After over an hour wait I finally was able to see a representative and all he was concerned with was selling me a package and getting on to the next customer. I signed up and then it would be a month and a half before I would get my new phone. A few days later, I had buyers remorse and went back to the Verizon store to cancel my purchase and contract. I was told by a Customer Service Representative that the easiest way would be to wait until I received my phone and then bring it in and the would give me a full refund. After a month of waiting to hear from Verizon, what shows up is a bill for service and I had not even received my phone and accessories, nor had I had any contact or notification from Verizon about my phone being shipped. I went straight to the Verizon store and after another hour wait to see a Verizon Rep and him spending quite some time on his phone, I was told that the phone had been delivered two week earlier and was signed for. I went to the shipping address found the packages and brought them back to Verizon. A Verizon Rep took the two packages opened them and processed the return and my credit for money previously paid. He said I would receive an adjusted bill shortly. Imagine my surprise when the adjusted shows up today for $878.01. I then spend an hour on the phone with three different Verizon Customer Service Reps and am told that they cannot do nothing until my local store provides a record that shows that I returned the phone and they received it. So now back I go to the local store to try and get this cluster straightened out. read more
