Another pro- hubby being an electrical engineer had already said what the outage would be from.. Just grateful the power came on and things went back to normal.. Thank you Brandon for taking out my smart meter and putting in my requested digital meter. I will now pay a very small fee each month to have my meter read by a meter reader. I am now considered an opt out customer. This was a very big decision for me to choose to have my smart meter removed and replaced with a digital meter. This meter will read for both gas and electricity. Brandon was outstanding at his job and I enjoyed talking with him, he has been with NV energy for 14 years. The install took around 20 minutes and I am really happy for the digital meter as a NV Energy new opt out customer. Thanks to NV Energy & Brandon S for great service. This is my first home and I chose this meter for accurate account of what gas & electricity I use daily. I mentioned to Chris that something went awry after we tried to secure the cover of the Nest thermostat (it was loose from the wall). The AC had worked before but after doing something with the cover, the AC stopped working. Chris quickly found the problem (a fuse had blown out). Chris was very professional, gave me some ideas on a Honeywell thermostat (we're not BIG fans of the new NEST thermostat), showed me how to read the error codes on our furnace (watch the number of red light flashes and compare it to the brochure left with the furnace). It was easy, peasy, even someone like me who has no HVAC experience could do this. I can't thank Chris enough for his great personality, true professionalism, answered my questions, taught me a few things (learning something new is always good) and even loved on my 2 labs (turns out we both love animals).
