If you are looking for new verizon service or anything with verizon come here . Super fast and friendly people. Great customer service and it's okay that one of the reps was a cowboys fan .. lol ... thanks again .

    Really????

Verizon owes me $398. I don't know what else to do. I've called support and talked to 3 departments. I went in to the corporate store and they're telling me to call again because there is nothing they can do. They said when they pull up the account, it shows that a $398 credit was applied but when i show them my account and bank charges that lists it never came in and was never deducted from the bill.. they say they don't know what's going on. So who does? UPDATE!!! They are calling support for me. Stay tuned!!!

On hold to speak to a supervisor, never got one. ..I had to hang up after 50 min.

CenturyLink customer service sucks! The internet is not working and you cannot reach customer…read moreservice at all. Here is the message I receive when I tried to start a chat with an expert. This is so ridiculous

After more than a decade dealing with Cox and feeling as though I had to keep buying a new modem…read moreevery other year (which is ridiculous to go through two expensive modems -Netgear and Motorola- in two years,) my household decided it was time to make the move to Quantum fiber. With Cox, we could never even be sure if the problem was on their end or ours. But why should I have to keep playing guessing games and replacing modems and routers? Then reset after reset which would last an hour before having to reset the modem again. If you work this is unacceptable. If you stream or game, this is unacceptable. If you conference or do calls through private messengers over wifi, this is unacceptable. And in terms of hearing, "Oh you need to get a new modem" every other year; After a while you almost begin to wonder, "Is Cox deliberately breaking my equipment in hopes I will rent or buy theirs so they can make a sale?" Who knows. But those thoughts did cross my mind. What I do know is the level of frustration of paying for a service they simply cannot provide especially now that there is more competition in the area since fiber became available. I'm not saying that this is what was going on but interestingly enough, when we called to cancel Cox and tell them we went with Quantum, they suddenly offered to give us a new modem free and half off the service. Now this was interesting considering before they said we had the 'best price' and that all was fine on their end when we would say our internet kept going up and down but then would tell us we needed a new modem without offering it until we actually cancelled their service (which by then it was too late and too bad- so sad). Why did they never offer to rectify this concern before? Another thing about Cox is their data caps and then the cost of service for the speed. $120 all in for Gigablast and unlimited data (the unlimited caused it to be higher otherwise they capped at 1 TB a month) and that's only nearly a gb down speed, NOT upstream! So trying to upload a big file? Go get lunch or dinner and it 'might' be done by then especially if it's a multi-gigabyte file. And I use the word 'might' so long as your modem doesn't reset or the speed doesn't come to a crawl. Good luck content creators! So after Quantum installed fiber in my neighborhood, I heard mixed reviews. Some saying you will never look back and others saying don't do it. Seems many have had mixed experiences and I did a fair amount of looking at reviews online and on YouTube reviews. Well, we decided to roll the dice and at least try it. We kept having outtages and resets with Cox and kept getting tired of feeling as though we were getting gaslit and the runaround for what we paid, so really, what did we have to lose? We booked the appointment on a Friday in early September, and the tech was out bright and early on Monday morning. The whole install took about two or three hours from pulling out the copper line that goes to the house and then installing the fiber. This didn't take long as the hub was in our front yard. Then of course setting everything up indoors. Tech was courteous, knowledgable and friendly. Did everything neatly. Speed we chose was 1 Gbps service which is plenty (they have five tiers -500 Mbps, 1 Gig, 3 Gig, 5 Gig and if you're insane, 8 Gb) and it is symmetrical (at least most of the time) but even times the upload may decrease it's still 10x faster than Cox is capable of (Cox can only do 100 Mbps up). So service requested and delivers for our needs over expectations. Been almost two months and so far so good. No outages and best is we didn't have to buy the equipment so if anything should go wrong it's on them to replace it and did I mention the price is $40 lower than Cox? They say it is a price-lock so time will tell if that's really true or not. The only thing I so far would dock a star on is their router. Because it is wifi 7 it is technically backwards compatible with older devices and that yeah, they work, but it seemed I pulled higher speeds with my old TP Link router. Not sure why that is but then on newer devices and direct connections you do get the advertised speed most of the time. It's more than enough even if all of us are using it at the same time. So credit given where it's due so far in terms of service. Definitely worth it, just hope I don't ever have to deal with Centurylink customer service as I've heard that is their one flaw should there be a problem. But I have heard rumors that AT&T is going to be acquiring Centurylink so we shall see how it all goes long term. I can always add to my review or change it if need be. In all, if you are tired of Cox and don't want congested 5g wireless; Quantum fiber (installed by CL) is your best bet. I would at least weigh the pros and cons and as of now in my experience, would recommend. Fiber is your best bet hands down if it's available in your neighborhood.

I was called and texted by Eldred. He was polite and professional and explained everything. He personally came out the next day to inspect our yard to determine where they would run the line. Two days later they installed the fiber from our alley, and the next day Kyle came out to install the hardware. Everyone was great, the service was superior, and we've had awesome Internet speeds ever since. It's totally refreshing to speak with Eldred and have a normal human interaction. Just prior to this experience I was getting an infuriating runaround from cox between the AI bots and their shabby customer service just to cancel. I am pleased to support a local business and urge you to consider switching to Trepic. I read a bunch of the reviews on here after we had already became subscribers and was a little surprised to see some of the not great reviews. I then saw Eldred personally responding and taking accountability for each review. Talk about professional, this man is real and he actually cares. Thanks Eldred, Kyle, and the Trepic crew!

I cancelled service the day before the next billing period to assure a clean exit only to be told by CenturyLink that they take a few business days to process such requests and now are requiring me to pay for a days worth of service - which I can't use since equipment was returned when cancelled. I tried speaking (chatting with representatives, the first agreed to correct) and asked I check back in a week. Unfortunately, after the week, nothing done, chatted again and this rep and his manager were unwilling to follow common sense. So I asked them to mail me the bill. Why companies don't put common sense practices into place amazed me. It is going to cost them more to produce the bill, mail it, and process my payment then it would be to just waive the one day bullcrap they are trying to get from me because they can't process closures when requested.

That said, I've been a loyal CenturyLink customer for nearly 10 years, and the recent outage experience was incredibly frustrating. It took them an entire week to send someone out. When they finally did, they gave me an 8-hour window with no real-time updates or notification when the tech was on the way. I was literally walking out the door for an essential errand when he arrived. During the 7 days without internet, I spent hours trying to reach a human being. The phone system just loops endlessly, and it was nearly impossible to get help. I work from home, so I had to spend extra money to tether to my phone and find public places to work--in the Arizona heat, no less. After all that, CenturyLink offered me a $9 credit for the inconvenience. Honestly, that felt insulting. The service itself is generally slow, though to be fair, outages are rare. But when they do happen, the company is extremely slow to respond, and customer service is nearly nonexistent.

The team they sent did not speek a lick of english and installed their fiber box in the wrong spot on my home. Then another guy came to do the install and said the box was on wrong spot, wait a week for someone else to come again, who doesn't speak english, had to yell at them to get an english speaking manager on the telephone. I do have to say that they did send a crew out to fix the wall, but again the workers didnt speak english, but luckily one of the workers brought his english speaking son, and he was a very nice kid and the workers did a great job on the repair. Next another guy shows up after I had to crawl under home to run pex tubing to put the actual fiber into the home. Well that took hours of frustration. After it was finally completed, I thought, finally it all done and everything should be ok, Well, I was WRONG! The service is spotty at best, TV continues to spool/buffer? making it impossible to watch anything on TV and goes blank often. I recently got an email from them about a payment to my account. Well, I should have not gotten any bills from Airebeam at this time. I just got service activation on April 16th. They told me that I had 1month free at $55 and that I also get a credit for putting their sign in my yard. I called their billing office and got no help. They said they made a mistake on activation date, but would not credit the $30 back to my account. I told gal that I should have, at the very least a $55 credit, and that I wanted to speak to a manager. One was not available (bull). 2 days later and I still have not received a call back to notify me of a fix to my account. I have NO CONFIDENCE in this company, their service, nor their billing department. Unfortunately I am stuck with them for 1 year RUN AS FAR AWAY AS POSSIBLE!
