    A rusted out, leaning, nasty looking cable box

    I sent an email to Century link on March 2nd about their run down, rusted, broken boxes by our homes in this neighborhood. They sent someone out to check named Enrique.. he said he'd be in touch... crickets! Nothing. I'm so sick of looking at these nasty cable boxes!!

    Like everyone else on this, I wish there was a 0 star review option. Just trying to cancel the install of service is currently taking more than 2+ hours and been transferred over 5 times with multiple calls both phone and chat. Good lord how are they even still in business. Supervisor Brian M. won't even come to the phone and chat wait started at place 99 and currently at 30 while still on hold for over 45 min on phone. Will take some more time today to cancel this install but at least a bullet was dodged and won't have to actually experience the horror in incompetence that is this company.

    Me trying to watch TV why century link goes in and out. Had to reset my modem three times to watch a complete movie.

    I cannot begin to explain how terrible century link is. I do know that each time I ask for a manager I was never given a manager however the accent in the person that was speaking on the phone gradually became am more American. And I'm just wondering is this a tactic or skills labor issue. Because I know the time I think he was east Asian man that was on the other line of the phone just didn't understand and it was not his fault. But it is truly you Century link

    Phone jack COMPLETELY torn out. This guy must be really miserable to treat his future customers this way. WOW. Sad man.

    No showed twice for service call. Unable to talk to a human. Chat is useless. Some of the worst customer service I have experienced

    My experience with Trepic has been great. We recently moved and had few options for service…read moreproviders. We saw some yard signs on our street for Trepic and filled out a request online. I was called and texted by Eldred. He was polite and professional and explained everything. He personally came out the next day to inspect our yard to determine where they would run the line. Two days later they installed the fiber from our alley, and the next day Kyle came out to install the hardware. Everyone was great, the service was superior, and we've had awesome Internet speeds ever since. It's totally refreshing to speak with Eldred and have a normal human interaction. Just prior to this experience I was getting an infuriating runaround from cox between the AI bots and their shabby customer service just to cancel. I am pleased to support a local business and urge you to consider switching to Trepic. I read a bunch of the reviews on here after we had already became subscribers and was a little surprised to see some of the not great reviews. I then saw Eldred personally responding and taking accountability for each review. Talk about professional, this man is real and he actually cares. Thanks Eldred, Kyle, and the Trepic crew!

    This is the single most annoying company in the valley. I have a No Soliciting sign on my door and…read morethree weeks ago, some guy from this place rang my bell and pounded on my door. I was livid and intentionally stayed in the house because I didn't trust my temper. I thought maybe he was just too dense to know what 'soliciting' means. I bought a new sign. "No Soliciting, DO NOT ring bell or knock". A week later, guess who is back? It's the SAME guy knocking right over my sign. I went out and scorched his behind and sent him on his way. He was still trying to sell to me while I was berating him for waking me up. He says, "It's light out" like that makes a difference. I told him to not come back. Now here we are another week later and TWO of these guys show up for the same reason, "your neighbor has our service". I don't care what my neighbor has. I asked, "Did you see this sign?" Guy laughs and says, "Yes, everyone had those. We ignore them because we HAVE to talk to people." Are you KIDDING ME? I have this sign for a reason. I work from home and I have dogs. I do not want the dogs barking, I do not want my work calls interrupted by ringing and pounding, and I definitely don't want them interrupted by ringing, pounding, and barking. On top of that, sometimes I work at night and nap in the afternoon. I am very irate when someone wakes me. This company needs to learn to read, to make notes about who they've already bothered, and they need to stop coming to my house. Also, if someone ignores pounding on their door, which they obviously heard, then ringing the bell is only fanning the flames.

    When it works, it's great. We are in our 5th month of using. And, the freeze framing of apps (TV…read moreviewing) due to buffering issues are increasing. And, most of time we only have 1 TV using the service NOTHING ELSE! Sometimes this happens 2-3 times an hour. The freezes last upwards of 60 secs. NOT GOOD. Sometimes it just goes blank and I have to recall the app. Now, last night 2-6-26, we got 2 hrs. of lower resolution (VERY SOFT) and dim viewing. I tried everything, rebooting TV, Roku, modem, replacing the HDMI cable. All I wanted to do was wind down a long week watching TV. Didn't happen. The resolution finally got back to normal around 11:30p ish. UGH! Oh, and the speeds they promise....LOL, has never happened....NOT EVEN CLOSE. Typically half to less than half.

Then they'll come and hook up inside with a different guy. He was nice and professional, had an accident with my diffuser but no harm seemed to come from it so far everything seems to be ok.. but they were on it with management to cover if I needed which left me at ease being the situation. Also I didn't have a remote for my tv so the man who connected my fiber router said he had extra at his house he would be in the area again the next day and drop it to me, talk about going above and beyond for your customers this was great! Kids broke our last remote so we had to use our phone app to get into the tv and some days it wouldn't work, so I am thrilled to have a remote again. Internet seems to be running smoothly with no issues! When I had cox it was always cutting in and out of out of service and it was paying almost 100$ a month. With fiber it's 50$ the first year. They also cater to our military keeping it 50$ all year and beyond as well first responders, for the rest us it goes to 75$ after first year. I think I def get my value for what I now pay having no issues and fast delivery service being great!
