I will never go to this store because of what i've heard regarding the store manager, Rolan Burney. Absolutely an individual that can be defined as taking credit for others work and lacking empathy by not looking for the best interest of his team. I've seen the way he talks to his peers as he micromanages them and undermines them and manages them with fear instead of fairness. this is a clear-cut sign of a bad manager that you can not trust. Here is the why behind all of this: Rolan was a sales manager at the Saratoga location, he used a sales rep for his success to get to where he is at and to hold himself high after being promoted to the Milpitas location, had this individual fired right after having a baby to cover his success. I know this because I WAS a loyal customer to this individual for 5 years as I HAD 67 lines of business with Verizon, now with T-mobile. This ex sales rep tried to get promoted to be a manager 6 times and was in a leadership progam! why would anyone want to work for this guy that doesn't promote someone working there for 5 years!? This manager obviously doesn't look to give recognition to those working hard. I feel sorry for ANY employees working under this cut throat manager. No leadership throws his team-mates under the bus like that. Oh and Verizon just lost another 60 lines I was needing to open. read more

I went to this store Labor day just when the store open. I needed immediately assistance because my phone died and I used for work. The store was empty with 2 employees. Leon came to help me or I though.... He never took his eyes from his tablet completely ignoring me. He was rude and not willing to sell for what I saw. I left the store. Nothing is worse to me that a salesperson that won't make an effort to pretend he is interested to help a customer. I ended out going online and bought the phone directly from Motorola and for a cheaper price. I will not recommend anybody to go to this store. read more

Waited 30 minutes to get helped, Joshua assisted us with our transaction heard about our ordeal(please do not go to a authorized retailer especially go wireless off Oakland road). He upgraded two devices based on a pop up promotion they had for the weekend and resolved a few issues all within 20 minutes. Had a few discounts applied and we were so ecstatic about our final stop to just upgrade a phone. read more

In the past I've had difficult times with Verizon's Customer Service. I dealt with Angie Nahe today and she was a slice of Heaven!! She not only listened to what I needed, but she found a way to make it work!!! Incredible. After years of having to talk to the supervisor's supervisor, she told me that Verizon is really making Customer Service a top priority. Based on what I experienced today, this is a whole new Verizon for sure!!! Hats off to whoever made the decision there to empower employees to provide concierge level service. Truly amazing!!!! read more

I came into the store 2 days ago and was assisted immediately by Jynelle. (sorry if I spelled your name wrong). I picked up a Note 7 and was assisted professionally. I am in customer service /sales industry and what breath of fresh air coming to this facility. I was offered options that goes with my phone and was not pressured to buy anything but was suggested on a couple of products. Very friends salesperson and was patient and respected my time. I would recommend others to this store. read more

Long overdue, but it has been on my mind. 5 stars and bonus for Theo! He went above and beyond. I bought a Surface 3 on 1st day it came out unlocked and had a hard time to connect to Verizon. Another fantastic experience at the Verizon Wireless Store!! I got to upgrade my phone because of some technical issue with my old phone. From the time I walked in everyone was friendly, made eye contact and greeted me with a smile. All the sales people were occupied when I entered, immediately 2 guys came out and asked me if I needed help. I appreciated their prompt service as I was there after work and needed to be in and out. Jeremy helped me select a new phone. He was honest and forthcoming about which phone he thought I would like given that I have been using a blackberry for a while. I asked him to get me in and out as son as possible, which he did. Orland the store manager was very helpful in explaining extra charges associated with an early upgrade which I didn't understand. Jeremy took extra time to go over my new phone with me and help me upload email and facebook. This is the only place I would go to buy a Verizon phone and accessories. And Verizon is the only network I would use in the bay area. Thanks again to everyone at Ranch Dr. for making the phone purchasing experience pleasant. If you decide to go in ask for Jeremy, he's a nice guy and will help you out in an honest manner. read more

I called to ask a simple question about SIM cards, and spoke to an agent at the store. It was not a nice experience: the agent was condescending, abrupt, unhelpful - and downright rude. I won't shop there again. read more

The staff was very knowledge-able in answering my questions on the different phones. I feel that they know what they're talking about. When I had to return my iphone 5 they were less than happy to put it mildly; blunt less than courteous verbal exchange was more the case. C'mon returns are part of the retail experience. On the account management they're much less competent I'm afraid. I exchanged for an iphone and later returned it, making rock-certain that the account be closed and line deactivated. Yet two months later a bill in the amount of $117.40 and an active line still haunted me. I had to spend no less than an hour with customer service trying to close down the line, the second time. Waiting on the phone for an hour and trying to explain why the store didn't do what they supposed to do was a hellish experience. read more

Best customer service. My phone had a issue. They looked at it and fixed for free. Thanks Bobby Ewing.

My boyfriend and I came to this store to switch him over from Sprint. He ended up getting the new iPhone 6 Plus and Katherine helped us with all of our questions and made us feel comfortable. Sales Associate: Charlene I needed a new phone, and the Verizon by my store couldn't honor my account credit so they sent me to Milpitas. When I got to Verizon around 1pm; I was greeted by Charlene. I have some complaints about Verizon's prices and phone plans, but not about this store's service. The first time I went in, a few months ago when I was looking for a new phone but didn't know what to get, I was helped by a friendly African gentleman with an accent--I don't remember his name, but he was very helpful and honest in answering my questions and trying to assess my needs for the new phone. He even seemed to agree with me genuinely when I expressed some dissatisfaction with some of the plan costs that seemed too high to me. He really seemed like he was trying to find the best phone and plan for me, and wasn't trying to sell me something I didn't want. It was great customer service, even though I didn't end up buying the phone at that time. When I finally came back in to get an iPhone, I was helped by a different employee, but the service was still very good. Mr. D'Souza, I think his name was -- very polite and helpful in explaining how the plans for the iPhone work, what the various accessories really do (so I could decide which ones I wanted and which I'd pass on), etcetera. Again, my only complaints so far are with Verizon the company: you know the iPhone cases they sell, that they claim you can't get anywhere else? I bought the exact same case online for a fraction of what they were charging me for it. The exact same one. No need to buy it from Verizon. But that doesn't reflect upon this store's employees, because they gave me very good service. read more

I have been going to this store for years and always have incredibly positive experiences. The whole team is so proactive, friendly, and focused on helping you as a customer find what is best for you. From grabbing a bottle of water for you while your device is activated, to thoroughly explaining your options, I always feel comfortable and happy at this Verizon store. They go out of there way to serve customers, which can be a rare experience these days. Today I had another 5-star experience and decided to go on Yelp and share. I highly recommend this location and really appreciate the helpful and friendly employees. Thank you!! read more

The staff in this branch was very efficient. I came in to switch from TMobile and get a new phone. I was in and out in less than 30 minutes. This is a complaint about Verizon Service, NOT this store of which I have no knowledge. My wife and I signed up for smart phones with the limited data plan (~15$/line/month). In May I asked a Verizon rep about temporarily upgrading to the full data plan on one phone for one month. I was told that if I requested a restoration of prior service [rates] within 30-days of the upgrade, my old rate would be restored. I did so. The following month I was billed the higher rate. I complained and was assigned case# 2079193310. Verizon continues to bill at the higher rate. I was told that that rate had an inactive pricing number (425507) and they were requesting an override. Today I was told that the "request" had been denied; that the agent should have told me that the change was irreversable if chosen and I was now stuck with the higher rate. Obviously if the agent had told me that, I would have paid the overage charges for the brief period I was away from Wifi locations knowing that I would recoup the cost with the lower rate and less data usage. This appears to be a case of "Verizon is bigger than you and you will get tired of pestering poor old Verizon over $15/month if Verizon keeps billing and stalling" read more

Verizon service is good but expensive. I recently had to take my phone in to be replaced because the charging port was broken. It took a while but they replaced it and transfered my contacts. Although they can't transfer pictures which was dissapointing. He asked me to buy a memory card to keep them but I said no I'll e mail them to myself before you do the switch. Then he tried to sell me a cover for it even though he was holding my still-perfect cover. 4 days later I had to go back in because my replacement phone kept getting stuck in a fuzzy screen. They don't make the LG Dare anymore so they can only give you a refubished phone that could have problems as well. I told him (different guy) I didn't mind getting one of their free phones but I didn't want to extend my contract but that's not possible either. Everyone was helpful right away and did what I needed, I just hate how no one tries to go out of their way to make sure your happy with their service.; it's always the minimum they can do. read more

My cell had died over the weekend. The gentleman who helped me was very helpful and knew exactly how to help me. He showed me a couple of possible replacements and had me on my way in no time. This review serves as a warning of the risk you may take against your own privacy without knowing if Brian happens to assist you at this store. He is a sales rep. Be ware that he has no integrity or decency whatsoever. The star is for other staff who has nothing to do with my experience that I'm about to share. Negative stars would have been for my experience with Brian. I do not know what is wrong with him but I do know what he deserves. He deserves the awful truth about him to be known up here. This past Black Friday, I was at this store to set up my old I-phone to give to my mom. I gave Brian the phone & asked him to check why sometimes sound was missing when playing a video. I wanted my mom to have no problems so that she could enjoy video of her toddler grandchild. Since I didn't have any videos elsewhere on the phone except in the camera app, I agreed that he could go in the app. That was a huge mistake and Brian took advantage of it in the most pathetic & nasty way. Till today, I still don't know why he did it. So Brian could have played the video of kids playing with a picnic basket that showed up when the folder in the app was open but he did not. He could have asked me which one to play but he did not. He instead scrolled through the entire camera roll up & down 4 times really fast, faster than I could realize why or stop him. I think my passiveness was also due to the fact that I could never imagine what happened next. He selected the video of me nursing my child! It was not recent among tons in the camera roll folder. It was one of the earliest videos at the beginning of the collection. Then he turned the phone toward me, showed me his selection & asked "this one?" and about to hit play. I took the phone back. Since it was obvious that he intentionally offended me, I complained to the managers & demanded to know their course of actions. Angie, one of the 2 managers to whom I reported Brian's misconduct, said she would talk to HR & call me in 5 business days. The end of 5 days was last Friday. Therefore, I called to let Angie know that I expected a call from her about the result of my complaint and if I couldn't pick up, I would want a detailed message. She then asked me what result I expected. She didn't sound like she had my interests or fairness in mind so I asked her if she were me, what would she want as the result. Long story short, Angie left me with more doubts than trust that someone would do the right thing. That is partly why I decided to write this review. I want to prevent what happened to me from happening to someone else. Angie said she reported the incident to HR but would not disclose what they would or would not do. Her reason being employee's privacy. I can understand that but somehow in her tone of voice, I found not enough of sincerity to leave things as they were. What the management or HR should do is clear. Fire Brian and make that decision a demonstration of their codes of ethics. Do not tamper with clients' privacy. Brian's misconduct even exceeds the scope of that code giving his intended manner in offending What they wouldn't do, I'm afraid, may be happening. Last Fri, when I called Angie at the store, I believed Brian picked up! During my conversation with Angie that day, she kept stating employee's privacy as the reason why she would never have anything about the result with Brian to tell me. What about my privacy taken advantaged of? It is outrageous! It will be beyond outrageous if Brian remains at his job. I told Angie that everything happened at the counter. All she needed to do was to look at the camera footage. I hope they actually do have a camera there. Her silence at my suggestion seemed to confirm that there was. I told her that taking proper actions about Brian was not just in my interests but in the store's interests because keeping Brian in his current position would risk the privacy of all customers who he might come in contact with. If you go to this store after today and still see Brian there, I sincerely advise you to take your own precaution on your privacy and content of your phone because Brian being there means the store has failed to do so for you. I'm leaving this review to stand up for myself and warn everyone of Brian's serious offense. I was naive and taken advantaged of. It happened so fast, in less than a minute, that when I realized Brian's intention, it was all too late. Let it not be late for you! What he did, he did it to my face like a sick joke. Imagine what he can do having you phone all to himself in the back office when you need to transfer everything to a new phone! I'm giving it sometime to see if he will be removed from his position. If he remains, I will take further action. I determine to do this because it is the right thing to do. I do this so that I can revisit my video, a precious memory of my child, knowing that I correct the wrong that offended that memory and myself. read more

The yelp reviews for this store were no help to me this time. I listened to the mostly positive comments and here and I went to this Verizon store to get a new phone. There were three people standing behind the register and one on the floor with someone. There was one other person on the floor. No one greeted me when I walked in. I started to look at the phones and not one person came over to ask if I had any questions or needed help. I looked over at the sales people a couple of times with a "I need some help" look. They all ignored me. I eventually looked at every phone and then just walked out. I was pretty upset and know right away I was going to yelp about them. So here it is... this store is awful! no customer service what so ever! I ended up going to the Verizon keiosk in Valley Fair Mall and they were excellent. Run to Best Buy! The prices are the same and the sales team at Best Buy is awesome, they don't make commission so they don't have to push you into anything. Love Verizon, hate this store. James helped us but it doesn't matter, I have always (3 times) had a very poor sales experience at this store. This is how they roll. This is how they want to run this place. Very slimey. We walked in to upgrade a phone and suddenly we have a stack of accessories on the counter. We begin to question how we went from upgrading a phone to changing our plan and buying $300 in accessories. Don't ask questions because he's going to dance around it and tell you how confused you look. You think? Finally they want you to sign on an ipad that states you understand that you will have to pay early termination fees and $923. James keeps telling me that those things don't apply. Just sign and the next screen will tell you they don't apply. Then he needs the manager Asim? to explain to me why it's just a formality to sign and there is a fee (un-discounted fee pro-rated) WHAT? Just give your customers the straight talk. BS won't get you repeat business or referrals. Really poor business and sales practices. read more

My phone was stolen, so I went to this store to have my phone temporarily turned off. The store manager happened to help me, and was a complete JERK! He was completely arrogant and rude and got into an argument with me about a nonexistent law that he made up on the spot! He claimed my social security number was giving him an error in his computer and refused to help me. I asked to speak to the store manager, at which time he indicated that he was the store manager. I then asked for his district manager's number, and he said he couldn't give me their number and that I had to call the Verizon hot line: and believe me, I did. I definitely would not recommend this store unless you want to be patronized and treated like trash by an unhelpful staff. If I could give this store a minus 5 stars, I would. You might as well go down the street to the Verizon kiosk at the mall (if you insist on using Verizon) because they were at least somewhat helpful there. The service was so bad that I opened my first yelp account just because the service was really that terrible, and I wish someone had told me not to come to this store. read more
