I Send him a picture of everything even the voltage that this gauge is receiving and everything that I went through. It was no improvement. This company has zero customer support. I recently bought a wide band o2 sensor to replace an older one and it doesn't work. I can plug the old one in and it works, the new one doesn't and instead of replacing the defective part they want me to uninstall it and do a bunch of electrical tests. I funded a project on Indiegogo, to purchase a xfoil from PLX Devices Inc. They had a date of delivery approx 6 months later. The xfoil cost approx $6000, plus $700 shipping and tax. PLX devices Inc didn't deliver the product until approx 2.5 half years later, making them 2 years late on delivery. When I finally received the xfoil, piece by piece many months at a time, it was finally complete around April 2024. After a month passes by and assembles the xfoil, come May I was finally able to deploy it into fresh water. Well the xfoil left me stranded in the middle of nowhere in the water, which I had to swim back to home base. The xfoil leaked water into compartments it isn't supposed to all total 4x I got to use the xfoil. Customer support advised to send video of the board making air bubble, thus proving the board leaks. I put the board in my pool, and within 5 minutes the xfoil has completely filled up the battery and electrical compartment with water. At this time I noticed, the inside of the xfoil has been breaking and falling apart. The inside plastic lip seal has broken apart along with the carbon fiber lining is completely unglued and fallen off, which is causing even more a rapid leak that before. Customer service advice me to repair the board with super glue and their tutorial. A glue that is not even rated for water, which's proves pure incompetence of this company. I also advised them numerous times, that super glue will not work, because the board was leaking before the insides started to fall apart. I advised them I want a new board sent to me. They refused stating I am responsible for $350.79 for PLX devices to ship me empty boxes. Then I am also responsible to pay for my own shipping to PLX devices, which will cost me at least a total of $1100, so they can make the repairs. I didn't pay for a refurbished xfoil. They broke their warranty by giving me a defective product. FYI their warranty guarantees a defect free product. This company does not back their investors and customers up. They will stick it to you any way they can. read more

Hey - anyone can have a defective product right? I'll just get a replacement! hahaha - good luck - they wont ship you a replacement unless you pay them full price again - or wait for them to "qualify your return." The whole thing is a pyramid scheme of grifting - where they hold your money for product that doesn't work. Don't fool yourself - you wont be different. Oh - you think you will just call them and get things sorted out? Set up not to take any calls - even when they offer an RMA - which is its own weeks long process. They've cleverly designed a system of slow play where you can only contact via email - and they only respond once a day. And they drip the information to you - no matter how fast you respond. Then charge you restocking fees and discount your refund by the amount of time taken. Look at the one star reviews - that is NOT EASY to get. Run for your life to KOSO and get something that works from a legit company. These guys are running a carefully managed scam. read more

I've bought their Legion Solar system back in April. It's August now and still can't get them to make it work. I'm stuck with almost 1400$ of useless junk that they won't take back even if the system never worked...The worse thing is that I've put everything on the roof now and I'll have to bring everything down again. I was one of the early adopters of their products..... namely their digital gauge. Had it installed in the 2005 GTO and it gave my stock and aftermarket radio so much interference that I cant even use my FM radio to listen to my favorite stations. I reached out to them by phone and in person a few times to be brushed off. I purchased the Legion Solar system. I had trouble getting the components to connect and support told me to do a system reset. This triggered a know bug that required sending units back to be reset. From the time I did the reset till they recognized the problem and generated the RMA was 5 weeks. I needed to call several times a week to get a response from support. I learned from other users how to resolve my original problem because the documentation is missing vital information and support did not share (or was not aware of) this information. They have no escalation process. The system behaves in unpredictable ways. There is no theory of operation available. Support doesn't seem to understand some basic aspects of power generation and often will not admit that. If the support agent you are dealing with goes on vacation no one picks up your ticket. read more

Package shows at least seven different apps to buy. App with in app purchase. So I buy your product, then buy more product on top of that? I was an original sponsor on Kickstarter many months ago, but I had never received my "free" Legend Meter for whatever reason. Fast forward to a couple of months ago and I had since actually bought and paid for another Legend Meter again, received and used it, and absolutely loved it, and now want to buy another one... So I tried to use their website's to order another one but the site had a bug that day which kept refusing to accept my credit card number. So I had to wait over the weekend to contact their Customer Service directly. I called the following week and Richard called back later same day and told me that he alerted IT and now the website is fixed. I checked it while we were on the phone together and, yes, their site is now fixed. I place the order for a battery backup along with my 2nd Legend (to get free shipping), but while I was doing this live on their website, I casually mentioned to Richard and I never got my Kickstarter Meter. Ok, he said he'd check but, frankly, since i had already ordered my 2nd meter and my battery online, I figure he'd just let it go. Well, Richard called back later to let me know that he will add a 2nd meter (would now be my 3rd which my wife can use anyway) to my order, then later called again to let me know the order has been shipped, and again last Friday to make sure that I got my order and that I am fully satisfied. So while he called 4 times in total, I do appreciate his desire to fix the problem and to make sure that I am now fully satisfied. Well, I am satisfied with him and, now, with PLX and I would imagine that I'd not be afraid to call them again if I have any other issues. I purchased the PLX, Legion G2 battery with OLED display. I found this battery easy to use, with a sleek design. While traveling, it allows me to recharge my phone many times before having to recharge the unit itself. Because of the impressive OLED read out, I always know way ahead of time when I will need to recharge the Legion again ... I love that! I had one experience when the battery would not recharge. I misunderstood the product manual, which explained how to get the battery back up and running. Much to my surprise, my email to PLX for support was responded to within a day's time. The customer service representative, Richard Ewing, worked with me through emails and even phone calls, until my devise was up and running again. I am most grateful for his exceptional communication skills. I ordered a Kiwi 2 from PLX Devices about a week ago. The website form I ordered at told me I made a mistake a couple of times, and the third time I tried to place an order I got order confirmation and an order number. The next day my bank account showed two charges for the total price of the Kiwi 2, so I emailed customer service and they told me the order number I had received had been cancelled and I would get a refund in 7-10 days. My question then was do I still have a Kiwi 2 on the way, and what is my order number? I called customer service and spoke to Rich, who got my actual order number for me an assured me a Kiwi 2 was on the way to me. A few days later I requested my tracking number and it was given to me incorrectly, but Rich eventually emailed it to me where I noticed a digit had been left out accidentally. My Kiwi 2 should be delivered to me tomorrow according to USPS tracking and I look forward to learning more about the health of my van's engine with the aid of a Kiwi 2. read more

Nothing but frustrated comments from backers: - Got an email on Aug11 that says clearly "Luxor 2 Flashlight, is scheduled to ship between Monday August 29th - Friday September 9th." It is now the 24th and I still have not even received tracking information. - I'll definitely think twice before backing another PLX project. - at the rate things are going, I'll be lucky to get it in 2017. - What is the current shipping schedule? Some transparency would be appreciated. Its been almost 11 months since the project was funded! - Still haven't received it yet. Starting to wonder about them. - They took our money and ran to the border. PLX has some cool devices. I was very happy with my order of a few of the original Legion meters. Though I can't say I've noticed any actual difference in charge time of my phone, it's a fun toy and I like the data cutoff ability (except the switch is too hard to get at). So last year, I decided to buy the KIWI 3 as a Christmas gift for my dad. The product page itself (which I see has now been replaced) was somewhat confusing and appeared to have KIWI2 information on it. It took me a long time to figure out if it would even work with my dad's truck and iphone, but I eventually figured it out. I pre-ordered one and the page said it ships in December. So in November, I e-mailed customer service asking whether it was likely to ship before or after Christmas. I got back a seemingly generic e-mail stating it would ship in December but indicating they didn't read past the subject line of my message or just didn't care to address it specifically. It didn't arrive in time for Christmas. Fair enough, they never said it would. I anxiously awaited my dad's gift during the last few days of December so I wouldn't look like a deadbeat son who didn't get him anything, but it never came. I left town and left him just with an iTunes gift card for the app(s) and nothing to use it with. :( By mid-January, the order was still in the pending status and my dad had already been gifted a $30 wi-fi obd reader and it appeared to do everything the KIWI3 does anyway as far as he could tell so he was happy keeping that one. Additionally, almost all of the reviews at that point said the apps were having problems finding the KIWI 3 bluetooth device or that it flat out wouldn't work. During this time, I somewhat annoyingly continued to receive e-mails hyping the KIWI3 that directed me to the page that still said it ships in December. Given the fact my dad no longer needed or wanted it because my gift got scooped, and that it might not even work whenever he did actually receive (I never got any notice that it was shipping later or when to expect it), I decided to cancel my order. Customer service was very cooperative, and apologized, which I appreciated. I'm not black-listing PLX, but realistically I probably won't ever place another order with them. read more

I had a question about the delivery of my Kiwi 3 as the web site listed my order as "processing" for over a week. Richard was very helpful and let me know that the order will not be delivered by Christmas unfortunately, but will be delivered sometime in January.
