During the visit, Mike also asked about the screen, which had been replaced a few years ago at a different location (which I won't name). He pointed out that the previous repair used a lower-quality screen rather than a genuine one, which finally explained some issues we'd noticed back then. Mike replaced it with a proper screen, and now the phone feels like new--perfect for my daughter to keep using. Since he did such a great job on my wife's phone, I decided to go ahead and replace the battery on my own iPhone (12 Pro Max) as well, since it was down to 69% maximum capacity. That's why I'd definitely recommend Mike and his shop to anyone who needs device repairs or parts replaced. He's honest and will let you know whether a repair is actually worth it. They responded quick and offered me a quote before I took the phone in. Once inside they explained the process and from there repaired my phone. Upon arrival, he walked through how he was going to repair my phone and was even willing to take a look at my teenager's completely damaged iPhone 12 to see what he could do (teenagers!!! Grrrr)... Fixing my lens alone would've been 20 minutes, but he needed more time to take a look at my son's phone; so for just an hour, I walked through the shopping plaza, sat down for lunch & tea at the nearby Chinese restaurant, sifted through the Vietnamese grocery store-- it was chill. I came back to find my lens repaired 100%, yay. Unfortunately though, after a good time of troubleshooting all features of my son's phone, he wasn't quite able to bring it back. He gave me a quote for the repair of multiple parts and then suggested I think it over and come back should I decide to move forward. The professional representative was eager to help with anything and ensured a free diagnostic.. I totally understand the need to charge for more in depth diagnostics. I am appreciative for your honesty. I hope it won't be a major fix but if it is I am prepared for the outcome and trust your knowledge and recommendations. I used you in the past but the location on McGlincy was out of the way. Now I am happy you are in the Downtown Campbell area . I will be happy to update my review after the diagnostic and even if I don't have it repaired I will work with you and hope to find a good laptop with all my specifications. Remember you should always have a phone number of a reputable repair shop that has remote service available. Patrick called me and said it would be $200 for advanced diagnostics and he suggested to go along with it rather than buying a new laptop. This is always a good question to ask is it worth fixing?
