My Nintendo Pro Controller NFC reader (for amiibo) stopped working and Nintendo basically told me…read morethey wouldn't fix it. I really do not want to treat electronics like they are disposable so I searched for a local repair on yelp and found ClickAway. Pros: They responded to my query right away (I sent my request after close and they got back to me asap the following day) They were polite and professional and asked me to bring it in for a free diagnostic so they could see exactly what it needed and if they could fix it. They had a 24 hour turn around, which they stuck to. Cons: They were not able to fix it, because Nintendo just isn't making the part available. (not taking a star off for that, cause that's on Nintendo) The ADA spot in the lot is on the the opposite side of the building from the entrance, The only reason I am not taking a star off for that is the way the closest spots are aligned in a steep stagger, it still leaves room to wrangle mobility aids in and out of the vehicle. It would be nice if one of them was reserved for ADA, because the building is long and the walk from the ADA spot to the front door is a bit of a haul if you are walker-ing or walking with a cane. Over all the crew was really professional and helpful, and I plan on taking my other tech issues to them in the future. HIGHLY recommend them. One tip though, Google Maps is not giving accurate instructions (at the time of this review) on how to get to them. They are going to try and make you make the world's dumbest u-turn, so for reference, it's across latimer from the KFC on winchester, and the lot entrance is to the left of the building as you face it from winchester, it's small and easy to miss, so be careful.

I went to this place trying to get my computer diagnosed and repaired in July last year. The person…read moretold me very confidently that it was the issue of the fan, and the only thing needed was to replace it. Also, they promised a date when the fan would be available, and I believed it. However, when the day came, they said they would need another few days. Using the computer was very important to me, so I got annoyed and switched to another place. At the new place, I was told the issue with my computer was because of a completely different reason, and they helped me repair it smoothly. Glad that the delay helped me avoid further loss with this unreliable KY electronics. Unfortunately, although the diagnosis result was a complete error. I was not refunded for the diagnosis fee. Edit: The business owner replied saying that my job was on May 29, 2024, which is completely false. I wasn't even at the Bay Area during that time. Either he intentionally mixed me up with someone else or simply made up the story. Apparently, I have no point of making up a negative review if being satisfied as the customer, but the business owner has full motivation to respond to negative reviews by making up stories when he cannot reasonably dispute it, and it seems he has been doing it for many other reviews as well.

They do such great work, but that leads to their downfall - they are soo busy that the waitlist is several months long. But even then, I will only take my vintage audio equipment to them. They recently got my Denon turntable working again. And I just submitted another tube amp (Audio Research) with them. They are worth the wait. They are very knowledgeable (common failure modes, components, etc) and are able to troubleshoot all issues that have arisen.

I called many times and left messages. 2) Once one person called me while I was getting out of my driver's seat and asked to call me back in 5 minutes. But I did not receive a call back. I spoke with one more person but of no use. It was from the Technician who left me the 'first call' on Friday evening at 7 PM. 3) So, We drove to the store for more than 3 or 4 times. The travel time and driving on the road could have been reduced to only one AFTER the devices are ready for me to pick up. There are no stars besides 1 to 5, like some numbers with Negative values.
