Working with Amm Tech was a wonderful experience. They quickly responded to my request (tv dismount, transportation of tv and mounting of 3 TV's). He quickly and accurately installed the tvs with great care not to damage anything. He was faster and a better value than the big box stores. I will be using them for any home theatre needs. read more

We had Andrew install a couple of network drops for access points; this is the first home we've owned that's been to code, and we were stymied by the fire blocking. Great communication, arrived promptly as scheduled, was able to estimate and perform the work the same day, and his rates were very reasonable. He was well equipped to deal with any eventuality encountered (installing cables in homes not originally wired for networking is seldom a fun time), and while, as expected, we ran into some challenges, he was able to solve them, and the resulting installation looks great and performs great. In short, very pleasant to deal with, retains his composure during adverse conditions, and provides an attractive, quality installation. Recommended. read more

Andrew was great! I reached out to him Saturday morning to fix an audio cable that dropped back into the wall. Thankfully he was able to come out the same day and fix it! We are happy to have the full audio back for our TV. Super nice, great value, and he was able to perform the service requested. read more

Andrew came to our house to quote us on a project soon after we called him. He expressed interest in the project and said he would give us a call back to review a quote and timeline. Days later, and Andrew has ghosted us. He does not return phone calls from any of our phone numbers. We have left messages saying - "just let us know if you'd like to take the job or not, so we can figure out if we should look elsewhere." Super unprofessional and disappointing. read more

Andrew was awesome! Will be calling him for future use. Extremely knowledgeable, helpful and a really nice guy!!

We found Andrew online and it was a blessing from the Internet Gods! We scheduled him to come to our home to hook up the new toy for Hubby - a 64" plasma TV. First thing I asked him was how he would put that monster on the wall all by himself and he casually remarked, "i've hung bigger." Confidence? Yeah. Now, I should interject at this point that he is engaged so anyone having less than pure thoughts after that last remark should reel them in. Andrew was punctual, he hung that monster TV straight and made the surround sound and Blu Ray player sing. We didn't have everything he needed, but he did the shopping, twice, and had us up and running in no time. Nice guy too and charged us a reasonable amount of cash for the service. Need your TV hooked up or your new surround sound plumbed through the walls? Call Andrew. He'll hook you up! read more

I found Amm Tech on Yelp. I've been having major problems with my tv entertainment system. I tried calling the company that installed it but they never got back to me. I left a message with Amm Tech and received a call immediately. Andrew came to my house the same day and got my system working again. He ended up replacing my old universal remote. The new one he installed is super easy to use. I highly recommend Andrew. He's so knowledgeable and his fees are very reasonable. Thank you Andrew for fixing my system! read more

My wife and I recently bought a modest home theater set-up with our tax refund. We have an infant daughter, so we wanted to mount the tv high on the wall to force her to stand back away from the screen (on the rare occasions she watches tv). We also wanted a component shelf to elevate our sound bar, hd cable box, and new PS3, as well as a way to protect all the cables and wiring from her curious paws. I saw Amm Tech's ad on craigslist and then read all the amazing reviews here on yelp!, so I contacted Amm Tech and got a quote. Compared with other options, Amm Tech's rates were impossible to beat. Andrew even offered to order the shelving mount for us, (emailing us the details before ordering it). We booked Andrew and he came through on time and had our entire set-up installed and ready to use in just a little over an hour! He was friendly, professional, and respectful of our home. He made sure to show me everything he did and how it was all connected. He also told me I could contact him if anything was acting funny and he'd set it straight. Everything worked fine from the start and we've been enjoying our new home theater ever since. Oh, and our 13-month old watches Yo Gabba Gabba from a safe distance now, and the cables are discreetly tucked away with wire guards that match our paint! Thank you! We'll definitely use Amm Tech in the future for any of our home electronics installations. read more

I can't recommend Amm Tech Solutions highly enough. They gave me the best service and customer service experience I've had in recent memory. My wife and I are new to the area, and are just getting into our apartment, and we needed a TV mounted. I had searched around the Internet for mounting services, and the quotes I received were obscene. I griped to a friend about it, and he recommended Amm Tech. Glad he did. Andrew was very responsive, and efficient, and understanding of the fact that my wife and I know nothing about televisions, or wiring and mounting them. read more

I hired Andrew to set up our wireless based on the stellar reviews he had received on YELP. We had just moved and the job proved to be far more complicated than anyone had thought possible. After 3 hours with still no success, I feared the worse---that he would simply give up and leave or charge us double for his extra time/trouble. .Neither thing happened. Rather than abandoning us in our hour of need, Andrew patiently worked until he figured out the problem. Then, he returned the next day when we were having trouble maintaining the connection. He then sent us several e-mails, checking in to make sure things were going OK and giving us very helpful advice on a permanent solution to our wireless woes! So, look no further, you're not going to find anyone as professional and competent as Andrew! read more

Andrew was fantastic. We had a small job to install a flat screen TV, sonos sound bar all in our master bedroom. He also had to snake the cable line across the room (through the ceiling) so everything was clean. The cable outlet was on the opposite side of the room. He worked over the weekend. Very professional and friendly. Did a great job and at a great price. I would recommend him always and we are thinking of doing a second project with him read more

After reading many favorable reviews about Andrew, I decided to email him to get a quote. I also contacted a few others, but after talking and meeting with Andrew - I decided to go with him. He came over to provide an estimate of a living room mount with a home theater system setup. Andrew provided multiple options from going with a tube, hiding the wires, and using an electrical adapter. His price was also very favorable compared to the others I checked out. He was also very flexible in regards to scheduling as I ended up returning my tv for another one. Installation day - Andrew was punctuational and professional. He explained everything that he was doing and how I could add more equipment down the road (next generation PS?). He did run into a few unforeseen issues, but he was able to resolve them quickly. My tv was mounted as I had envisioned. Andrew went the extra mile by coming over the following day to verify that things were running smoothly. He also helped me touch up and paint the walls that had been worked on. I felt he went above and beyond, and would be happy to recommend him to anyone looking to mount a tv on their wall. read more

WOW! Andrew is the real deal. Having just moved to the area we needed two flat screens mounted, theater speakers mounted, and wireless Internet connected. Having researched Yelp reviews I contacted Andrew on a Wednesday who replied quickly to my query. He was able to accommodate my request for a quick install as my Internet and cable was to be installed Friday. We were able to have a quick call and everything else was accomplished by email! The install was on-time, professional, and spot on in regards to budget. Andrew was even able to save me a bit a money on speaker mounts! FANTASTIC.....in addition, he was kind enough to have a couple of pictures for us as well. I highly recommend Andrew for anyone who is looking for a professional installation. After attempting to install the TV mount myself, I made a smart decision and decided to go with a professional. I found Amm Tech/Andrew from my trusty source.. Yelp :). I found Amm Tech on Yelp and gave them a call. I needed a new TV installed and another one moved upstairs.. all done by the next day on a Saturday, and I expected all the installers to be booked. I left a message for Andrew and he promptly called back, and had availability for an install the next day. Score! Andrew arrived on time, and knew exactly what he was doing. He quickly assessed the TV, the type of mounts I had and went to work. What was amazing was that he was able to lift and install a 65" TV...by himself! It must be is almost 7 ft wingspan He swapped wall mounts and reinstalled and hooked up two TVs in about an hour. He also simplified the hookups with an optical cable. My new TV was up and working in a snap. What more could a customer want than a guy like Andrew that was prompt, courteous, and did quality work? If you need an entertainment system set up, Andrew is the guy to call! read more

Andrew wall mounted a tv sound bar and floating shelf with no visible cables anywhere. The work was perfect and clean. Did a great job hanging up my TV and setting up our surround sound. Has all the tools for the job. Took a few hours longer than he anticipated but he had a good attitude about it and came back the following morning to wrap up. Only minor annoyance was I noticed there was no tarp or anything on my wood floors to collect dust when he was cutting into my drywall. Overall, very happy we went with him. Thanks again! read more

Andrew is terrific! My ancient receiver finally called it quits (can't watch TV if you can't hear it!). Knowing this was a small project and needing the tech to come to downtown, I started my search for help. After contacting 4 companies who never called me back, even after leaving double messages, I found Andrew at Amm via Thumbtack. Within a few short hours, Andrew was in contact with me! YAY! He then set up a time to assess my system, made some great recommendations to improve it and provided an estimate on the spot. It took him 4 hours to update my 10-year old TV set up (needing to remove old wiring, take the TV off the wall, etc.). Andrew is a true professional and really knows his stuff! I would give him 10 stars if I could! read more

I recently hired Andrew to install my entire home theater. He installed my tv, included the mount itself for free, hid the wires, set up my surround sound system, and even fixed a problem I had been having on my PC all under 2 hours. I hired Andrew to wall-mount my 55" Plasma TV. Not only did he do a great job, but he also was kind enough to explain the whole process to me to calm my fears about wall damage (I live in an apartment). Trust me--even if you are an apartment dweller, you can easily wall mount your screen with minimal touch-up work required later (the holes are small!). Don't wait, call ATS now! read more

We recently had Andrew install Cat6 cabling in our 3 story town-home. Andrew works hard and will do what's necessary to get the project done on time. He was upfront about cost, and provided us with many options. You can tell he's been in this business a while. He was able to complete the project with fewer holes in the drywall than we expected. There are a few reviewers here who state issues with communication, our experience was quite the opposite. He kept us informed each step of the way (email, text, and phone), and was very responsive. I would definitely recommend Andrew to anyone needing to open up their walls for wiring projects. read more

I found Andrew on this great site YELP ! :) to install my sound system and projector with screen. He is quiet humble and knowledgeable in his area of expertise. He did a quick survey of the space and gave me instant guidance on what do and what will it take to make it happen with a quick quote. I was really impressed by his suggestion /quote and immediately hired him for my installations. He was punctual and always responsive to my inquisitive technical queries. Moreover he helped me find out right projector screen and some key accessories with the goal of best quality and low cost. Finally he completed the entire job in the estimated time and also cleaned up after he was done with installations. I will definitely give him 5 stars and would recommend him to install home theaters. Will do more business with him, he also know internet networking :) read more

Andrew solved an issue which I am sure many folks have and have attempted to solve themselves. Having / needing 4 or more remotes to control all their audio / visual equipment. Andrew came in and in less than 1 hour had our LG OLED TV, Firestick, Direct TV, Sony Blue Ray and Yamaha 2060 Reciever all on an extremely easy to use remote. I had a quote from BestBuys Home Theater Division it was +$1000.00, Andrew was a 1/4 if the cost. One of the few honest and fair priced people you will ever find. read more

Fast, professional and neat work. Andrew is totally awesome. I would use his services again and *highly* recommend him.

After shifting to new apartment , we had a big task of mounting TV on wall. Few of our friends referred Andrew. We looked for more options but Andrew 's yelp reviews caught our attention. Andrew was punctual and professional. His work was clean. He also answered most of our questions and worked on all details to hide the wires. TV hookup was fast and perfect. After the work he checked all the connections and made sure nothing is done wrong . I would definitely recommend him. Anyone planning to mount your TVs Andrew is the guy to get it done. read more

I noticed my HDMI cable had been pulled incorrectly from my cable box resulting in a damaged cord which prevented the TV from working. I tried to unkink the prongs on the cord, but they were too far gone. All of my wires are behind the wall, otherwise it would've been an easy fix. This repair required removing my 46" TV off of the wall to access the wires. I called Andrew @ ATS & he was able to come out in the next 30 mins! I couldn't believe my luck! He was very nice & professional. Fixed the issue & also placed my new DVD/BR player cords behind the wall. Thank you Andrew for saving the day! I wanted my home theater installed by one of the higher ranked Yelp providers. Contacted couple of more reviewed providers (with same rating as Andrew) and also reached out to Andrew based on his Yelp reviews. First let me describe my home theater work that was required. I needed my high end projector and Draper screen mounted in in a 30 feet room. Also needed the 5.1 speaker system installed and did not want any wire to show outside the wall. Essentially in-wall wiring as there was none in my home. For my other rooms I wanted one TV wall mounted and hide wires for another already wall mounted tv. Selected Andrew based on Yelp reviews, his ideas on how to setup my system and also because he was right-priced for the job. Andrew had great ideas and confidence in his suggested setup as there were some complications in my projector system setup due to room dimensions. Andrew did a great job of the installation, showed up on time in morning and was working till late night to complete the setup. My home theater looks amazing and am very pleased with the end result. For my tv he even went out of the way to provide couple of large screws that seem to be missing from my wall mount kit. Saved me a trip to home depot. read more

I needed a flat screen mounted on the wall and wanted an outlet installed behind the TV so the cord was hidden. I called Andrew, explained what I needed (a TV that could be against the wall, but moved into a corner for viewing), and he ordered the mount for me and brought it with him for the install. He was quick, did everything himself, and called us in when basic decisions had to be made and explained the pros and cons well. Very reasonably priced, and a job done well and quickly -- can't beat that! I will note that he didn't get back to me after one of the early voicemails I left him (though to be fair, he had returned a call once before and then I never got back to him!) -- but when I called another time a couple of days later, he picked up and we got right to scheduling. So even if he doesn't get back to you right away (keep in mind he is on his own, no secretary to field calls for him), I definitely think it's worth trying again -- he's so fast to fit you in his schedule so overall the job can be done really quickly. read more
