The store is always crowded which means long times waiting. The wait is exacerbated by the fact that the representatives are slow because they're as bad as used car salesmen. I went in to buy a phone, cash. But I couldn't do that - I had to say no to a bunch of upsells. No I don't need a $50 case, no I don't need a $30 car charger, or a $15 USB cord. If I did, I would have told you, or picked it up while I waited 15 or 20 minutes to talk to you! If they just did what the customer asked, the lines would go quicker. read more

I had been planning to keep my iPhone 5s forever, because I hate change that much, but in less than 24 hours, the home button stopped working, subsequently the microphone malfunctioned. I went to Verizon indecisive about what phone I would get next. Dave approached my husband and I, and discussed the pros and cons of each new iPhone out. Let me tell you, this man had the patience of a saint because like I said, I'm indecisive. He took his time, and I never felt rushed. He was very knowledgeable about technology and the company. I was greeted by a nice man but with three sales people standing at the front door I still had to wait for somebody to help me! It wasn't until I threaten to leave that they gave me to somebody who I wished I had left!! I came to pick up my new phone and when I was finally called it was by my wrong name which I pointed out and she still did not pronounce my name correctly even after I corrected her she just kept giving me the LOOK!! She really didn't help me set up my phone she said it wasn't permitted anymore and I can just go home and use the Wi-Fi!! Nice attitude!! it wasn't until I took it to the Verizon store on Williamsfield Road did I get the assistance I really needed even though they didn't sell me the phone they helped me get it set up!! I have been to several different locations and by far this one is my favorite. I am the owner of a commercial account with Verizon. I have probably around 50 total lines if I include vehicle tracking. I even have an account manager even though I don't know there name because they have never introduced themselves. If I actually used my account manager I would probably get a better deal but to be honest I like the staff at this location so much that I would choice this location over my account manager 9 out of 10 times. I probably visit this location 2 -3 times a month and I always feel welcome. Unlike some of the other stores I have never felt like I was a burden. I even one time came a couple minutes after closing and they still helped me. I cannot say the same thing about the store on Power and US60. I am so disappointed with business' that continue to raise rates, nickel and dime their customers, do not reward loyal long-term customers, offer new account deals, etc. I had an account for many years. I never fully understood the billing statement, never received loyalty rewards. In June I switched to a competitor because the deal would have me paying $59.00/month less for the same service. The new offer was a little time offer so I-asked my techie son to check out the differences between my old plan v. New plan. No essential difference for provided services!! So I signed up for the new plan and ended my plan with Verizon. Verizon billed me for a full month of service even though I had already paid for my first month of new provider. Verizon's motto must be stockholders come first; and, customers exist to make Verizon rich wirh a capital R. read more

Coming from New York, I can tell you the Verizon stores were less than "good"! After moving to Arizona four years ago, this Verizon Wireless store has been excellent to deal with it! I went into the store to get upgraded to an iPhone 7 and take advantage of a promotion they were offering for an iPad as well. I made an appointment online so when I came in, there was no wait. The rep that helped me knew nothing of the promotion but I proceeded anyways because this has happened to me before and by going online and getting help through their customer service team via chat, everything was resolved. So that's what I was going to do. Anyways, he knew nothing of the promotion, set up the iPhone 7 right away with no speed bumps, but when it came to the iPad, he "had to" put it on it's own plan because it "wasn't compatible" with my current plan. I am on the single smart phone plan. Why would adding an iPad not be compatible? I would still only have 1 active smartphone. With everything set up, I went home, got online and started chatting with the online team. They were really helpful with setting everything straight the in-store rep was incompetent in doing and even gave me multiple credits for my troubles and set my bill straight. I am giving verizon 3 stars, 5 for their online support staff but 1 star for their in-store total incompetency. I'm sticking with Verizon because they do have amazing service and their online chat support people are the best! Try not to go in the actual store, just do everything online! read more

I've been a Verizon customer for over 15years now and I would like to think that Verizon would value any one of us that has been loyal to their company for that long or longer. Unfortunately that doesn't seem to be the case when it comes to the corporate locations! If you are not in there to spend money they won't give you the time of day!! The last time I went into the Val Vista and Baseline location I needed to pay my bill and I asked one of the employees what all I needed to do to replace my iPhone, since the one in my hand wasn't working. The guy didn't ask me any questions he just handed me a business card and told me to use the information on the card to get my new phone. What!!?! I really had no idea what he meant, so I asked him what he was referring to???.. He told me to call the 1-800 number on the card and they would tell me what to do. I seriously has to leave because I was so upset that I didn't want to make a scene... I just left peacefully..I will never do business with this store again!!! I hope that others learn from my experience as well. The next morning I was at San Tan Mall running a few errands and I saw a Verizon store... They were kind enough to listen to what was going on with my phone and get enough information from me to let me know that I was still with in my 1yr warranty with Apple. So even though I had insurance with Verizon I didn't have to spend a dime. All I had to do was walk across the way and have Apple work on my phone for a few moments! When it's time for me to spend any money with Verizon I will be heading to San Tan Mall, where I know the staff really cares about their customers. read more

What could be worse then the wait at the DMV? Marry it with the experience of buying a used car and you have THIS Verizon store. Changing my phone plan was nothing less then torture. I waited for what seemed like an eternity on a weeknight at about 4pm. Then when I finally get a customer service rep he kept running to the back "to talk to his manager" about different plans he could offer me and kept trying to get me to buy things I didn't want or need. He told me I was "boring" for not wanting a tablet....excuse you?!? And that I should pay for my husbands cell phone plan too...here's a tip for you buddy.. mind you're own F*ing business! I know this is going to shock you, but after all was said and done, the cell phone plan he set me up with was still wrong. I called customer service the next day, got an awesome representative that took care of everything in less then 10 minutes. Absolutely horrible. They like to act as though the are an Apple store with tablet check-ins and such, but they are incompetent. My first experience there was not good, but went back today because it was close to my office. Told the gentleman who checked me in what my issue was. He told me it would be a 10 minute wait. I sat and watched as sales staff took their sweet time. Watched as two clients who checked in after me left because it was taking so much time. Finally after more than half an hour someone came to help me. As soon as I started to explain what I wanted to do and needed help with she told me, "Oh, we can't do that here." Why was I not told this in the first place! And secondly, the store nearer to my home said they could help me, this location was simply more convenient, I thought, to my office and my work day. Horrible service and a staff that appears not to care. And can't get the time back in my work day, but will certainly never be returning to this location. read more

Just purchased a new phone with the tempered glass protector and phone case and unfortunately it still shattered the glass after a small drop. Spoke with customer service over the phone and they started that the store would be more than able to exchange the phone since it was within 14days. Unfortunately that was not what happened at the store. They just have me a simple no without any other explination than using a broken tv as a reference! Seriously that it's just bad business, I work as a manager of a restaurant and if a guest isn't satisfied with a 100$bottle of wine they order I don't tell them oh sorry your stuck with it. I go out of my way to make sure they leave happy and come back again and again. But I will never set foot in this store again they will lose a customer for life. I later confirmed they were lies when I contacted Verizon customer service. Either there is no integrity in the way they treat customers, or management is putting too much pressure on reps to make numbers, or their hiring procedures are terrible. Verizon has a known issue with their service in my home, we have lived in the home for 11 years and never had a problem with the reception until 6 months ago. Verizon will be replacing the equipment that has failed in late 2017 or early 2018, in the interim Verizon has suggested we pay for a landline and refuses to provide a device to boost the signal in our home so we can use our phones while we wait for them to fix their problem! They are willing to let us out of our contract that expires in May 2017, all we need to do is give up the phones that we purchased on the 24 month payment plan which we will own in May 2017. We have been loyal Verizon customers for over 12 years and now they have no empathy or concern for us as their customer. It seems that Verizon only cares about you when they are sealing the deal. We have even attempted to reach out and contact their executive relations team without a reply so my message to the consumer is buyer beware. read more

What terrible customer service. I purchased a charge cord for my iPhone yesterday. It was too long and made with cloth. I went to return this under twenty dollar item with the receipt. When I arrived, I was greeted with "just a moment". Twenty minutes later I was told the people are busy. I replied with "I just wish to return this one item" while observing many techs listening to problems with their customers devices. I finally went to the counter explaining this is a simple transaction . "Oh, you are next in line"! Ten minutes later I stormed out the door with my receipt and purchase still in hand. I can't really complain about the customer service here...but i was there twice yesterday. So inconvenient after a long work day!! I bought a combo home cable and car adapter back in February...and by July or Aug the home cable was in perfect shape, but mysteriously not charging my phone. So I took them back and they exchanged my cords without a question. Here we are in Sept and my home cord is doing exactly the same thing. My car adapter works fine. I took it back and I get a song and dance from a short Hispanic dude...that it MUST be my phone input site. I need a new upgraded phone. I don't want that hassle. So I take it to a "Fix it" cell phone shop. He looks at it and my cords and tells me..." your phone is fine..it's the cord. Tell Verizon they are full of sh**!" So I go BACK to Verizon. Got Stacy...and she exchanged my cords. But told me "Its the last time". Today my phone charges just perfectly. Its the dang cord VERIZON!! If it was an old cord I would understand...but surely for the price you charge...they should last longer than a few months plugged in at my couch. Its not like I'm traveling the world. read more

I came into the store after talking to customer care on the phone who sent me a text with a great quote for two phone lines . I showed Nano the text and he said since it's Black Friday he could get me into something better so he walked away and came back with a quote a few dollars cheaper. What he failed to mention was the total cost of the monthly bill and that when you buy the iPad it's a two year contract . Total dishonesty was what I got from this person and when I got home the receipt read double the amount quoted so I tried calling nano back from the number on the business card and the number was disconnected. So I had to drive all the way back and spoke with Derek the manager who in turn did absolutely nothing for me . This place is a total joke and I'm totally disappointed in Verizon because nobody can give a definite price on the phone and in store .
