We had great service here. They made upgrading our phones and transferring from another provider very easy.. we had an appointment but were seen early. They answered all and any questions we had and they were very pleasant. I'd feel more than comfortable coming back if I needed help. Upgraded my tragically slow galaxy13 to an iPhone 15 in little less than 20 minutes thanks to a intriguingly sardonic yet professional character by the name of Chase who is one of the store managers. Even with me being unprepared and sleep deprived for academic/personal reasons, he was incredibly patient with me, a chaotic whirlwind of a human being, and my idiosyncrasies. One of the bigger Verizon stores I've been to and it has a wider selection of phones, the employees helped more than usual compared to other, and it was exceptionality clean. The selection of phones are better than regular stores and kept all the latest models to stay relevant. They kept it organized and had the accessories where you could get to them in line, in case you need a pair of headphones, chargers, etc. The staff helped when we needed and if we looked confused they would come over and asked if/what we needed help on, and just genuinely helped us throughout our trip. The store was crazy clean, you would think it would have a ton of streaks since it was tile in the store, but it wasn't! Since it was clean it helped with the overall feel of the store. read more

Worst customer service I have EVER delt with. Bought a new iPhone and a ton of accessories from Chris, spent a boat load of money. Left the store went home to put my accessories on my new phone found out the wrong case was given to me. Went back in today.... Waited my turn ... was given the correct accessory. Left the store. Realized the accessory I bought for my other phone was incorrect as well. Went back AGAIN... waited AGAIN. The same salesman (Chris) that helped me the first two times was in the store but called another customer up first because they were in line ahead of us. I asked if we could be seen to get the correct accessory first and Chris told me we had the correct one just to retry it in the phone again. Went out to the parking lot and tried the accessory guess what ... did not fit AGAIN. Went back in was told " we have many customers and we are very busy, you will have to wait your turn". I was placed on the waiting list AGAIN. Every single employee in the store has seen me three separate times today as well as three of the employees were at the store last night when I made the original purchase. Obviously I'm not hanging out at Verizon for fun there's an issue and not one of the five employees cared to fix the issue. Thanks Chris your a real piece of work! read more

Usually when I come in here I am greeted and helped as quickly as possible. Lines are usually three out four people, but they work quickly. Today I came in for a simple task. Activate and old phone on my account onto a new number. The woman I worked with was looking at her phone the entire time which I thought maybe she was using to activate my phone somehow. Maybe a test call? She put both phones down and revealed she was watching Law & Order using her AirPods. She then went into the back and didn't come out for 25 minutes. She then handed me the phone and told me that it was done. I made a test call myself, and it didn't work. I handed it back and said it wasn't working and she checked my account and realized she never even activated it. Then it only took 10 minutes and all of a sudden it was activated. I had three other things to do but decided I'd rather call in and get it done. read more

ABSOLUTELY AWFUL!!!! I have had multiple troubles with my phone the past few months forcing me to go into verizon. I have always had good costumer service with verizon but not at the one in manhattan. No one there knows what they are doing. Each time I have a problem I first contact verizon online where they are extremely kind and helpful then I go into the store to actually get my phone fixed. However, each time I have gone in they are either too lazy or just don't know what they are doing because I always leave there with none of my problems fixed. I have had to drive to Kansas City and go to a verizon there to just to get the proper help that I need. These people need to learn how to do their damn job!!! read more

We visited this store last week and we were assisted by Emily who had worked out a plan for us. She gave us a loyalty number to call to see if a 20-year account holder could get a better deal. We did as she suggested and were able to get a deal for being a loyal customer. The loyalty contact was able to upgrade our account to unlimited and then we were going to have Emily assist us with the Bogo XR Father's Day promo because we added a line for our mother. We made an appointment but Emily was no show and the blonde hair lady with arm tattoos (sorry didn't catch her name) would not listen to us and accused us of fraud. We were just following Emily's instructions. What we realized is since we upgraded over the phone that they lost their commission and in turn had no interest in helping us. So we left and called back the loyalty team and they were able to help us in getting the BOGO and add a new line without any hesitation. Bypass the store, go straight to Verizon. read more

Beware of "free tablet" scam, in December '14, I went to the Manhattan Verizon store to transfer service to another phone. The store employee told me that I qualified for a free tablet and a 2 gig data upgrade. I asked, "Free? how much in extra charges? will my bill increase?" He assured me there would be no charges, was I ever surprised when I opened the bill! Sprint says they will cut your Verizon bill in half, can you hear me now? read more
