I've been with AT&T for over five years now, and I have mixed feelings about their service. First,…read moreI'll start by saying that AT&T is somewhat expensive compared to its competitors. What's advertised and what you actually pay--with all the hidden costs and fees--are two completely different things. With the loyalty and thousands of dollars they've received from me, I would expect top-notch service. Unfortunately, not all of their employees are cross-trained properly on certain issues or policies, which can be frustrating when they bounce you from store to store or between phone support agents. Overall, I'd say I'm disappointed with the service I've received as a customer over the years, and once my contract is up, I do not plan on returning to or recommending AT&T to anyone. That said, I have to give a shoutout to Tony, who works at this location. He did everything he could to help me resolve my issue and was extremely patient and willing to go above and beyond. Although he was ultimately limited by the company's technical issues, I truly admired his dedication and effort to make sure I left satisfied. For context, I was there for two hours--which should tell you something about the quality of AT&T's phone support. Again, this isn't the employees' fault, but rather a reflection of the company as a whole. Tony is excellent at communication and troubleshooting, and I wish him nothing but the best in his future endeavors. It was truly outstanding how dedicated and professional he was. AT&T as a company, though--do better.

I had an excellent experience with Geek Squad member John. After purchasing a new IPad and syncing…read moreit to my phone I learned all of my 190 notes were erased. I spent hours with tech support and they could not help me. In less than 5 minutes John retrieved my notes and helped with a few smaller issues. Many thanks. Skip the Apple Store. Go to Best Buy.

I hardly know where to start with Best Buy in La Quinta…read more I'll try and keep it brief as fair warning to anyone else who is considering buying a home Theatre from them I don't know how much I ended up spending, but it was certainly in the region of $15-$20,000. From the very first installation onwards it turned out to be a disaster. The advice I was given started us immediately off on the wrong course. We had five speakers in the ceiling only. Soon after what I needed to get a center speaker because as we could not even hear the dialogue. From the very beginning I told them that I wanted a surround sound experience. It wasn't until I got onto the likes of ChatGPT that I soon learnt that we should have had Front and real speakers as well to make it 5.1.4. We had problem after the problem after the problem and they must've come around five or six times. I told them I wanted Dolby Atmos, but they told me that Dolby surround was actually Dolby Atmos. Which was false. We added additional ceiling speakers about six months ago and only this past weekend did we troubleshoot it and figure out that they had that set up wrong as well when I used AI to review all the settings We switched out the receiver and we switched out the Blu-ray player as well trying to fix the problem ourselves To cut a long story short that went on for an unbelievable three years I took a picture of the back of the cabinet and ChatGPT worked out The problem was that the connection from the DVD player to the receiver was going through some sort of circuit switch and not direct. And that is what was causing all the problems that we'd be bringing to Best Buy for three years. And at no time did any of the geek squad figure that out themselves. I used to buy everything from Best Buy when it came to electrical equipment and now I will never spend another dime there So as someone who has a complex home Theatre system with some 26 speakers in total throughout the house and Garden let me do you a favor and tell you to use a professional home Theatre company and do not use Best Buy
