Called in 949-954-**49 Verizon hotline and rep called the spectrum store to check the availability of an iPhone 14 Pro 256 Silver. Spectrum store confirmed they have the phone so I come in with a pre check in. When I walked in, a rep helped me to make sure they have the phone in stock. He came back and told me he has the phone. After a hour wait, another rep started helping me and told me they don't have the phone. At this point, I'm speechless. I can't no longer believe any information they are telling me is truth or lie. I held my breath and patiently ordered the phone at the store promising that the rep will call me when it arrives. Of course it's my fault I believe what they said. No calls! I left a message at 949-866-**83 but no rerun call for 2 days. Rest is the worst but no need to say more. This spectrum store is perfect to waste time and lie at your face if you are bored! read more

Walked in yesterday to get an new phone and add someone to my plan. We worked with Bilal, which started off great. When it came down to executing on the transaction he said he would need 10 minutes because the vault was "on a timer". Prior to leaving we asked if this could be completed by 2:15 he said yes. So we went to grab a beer as and returned at 2:00 and he was working with another couple. Did not acknowledge us, did not follow up as he said he would. When I first walked into this store with my grandma who doesn't speak very good English , I was greeted by Joshua who quickly got my grandma a chair to sit. Be careful about these guys I returned a device that was not working correctly and they charged me a $35 fee for restocking and a $19 admin fee. This was not a case of me just changing my mind. This was a case of device not working properly. From Verizon corporate "Please know this store is a non-corporate location and can have different restocking fees and policies than a corporate Verizon Wireless location." Victim of another "Free promo" scam here. Read around, I am not the only one over the last few months. I had issues accessing my account as a manager, although properly authorized to be one by the account holder, my wife. We visited the store, explained the situation and waited for more than an endless hour and a half for them to coordinate with Verizon Corporate over the phone. Having a 1.5yo baby with us, this waiting time was painful and frustrating, and after 45min of "no progress", with me and my wife taking turns in-and-out the store trying to keep him calm and entertained. I was openly dissatisfied, and this is when the "Free Tablet" came in the picture. The "gift" was unsolicited on our part 100%: it was "given" to me as a reimbursements for the troubles we had making changes in our service plan, after they - Victra - had issues coordinating with Verizon about it, which in return had me pinned in the store for more than an hour and a half, and would be require no additional fee other than maintaining the $10 Service fee for table LTE data we had already - through a different promo for an older free tablet that Samsung had given us. My wife who at that point was talking to them exclusively as I was too frustrated with the agent, hastily thanked them, apparently signed for it and had us leave the store with promises that changes would be visible in our account over the next couple of billing cycles. The store was virtually empty btw, it was not like we had to compete for attention. After requesting the resetting of my account through Verizon for not being able to check on my billing and make changes through the My Verizon app, the issue we visited the store to begin with, I was introduced with bill for the device "we purchased" and after contacting Verizon's help desk, it was announced to me that on top of the device's cost, we had committed to service that tablet access line for 24months. A new tablet line that is, because they did not swap # with the one we already had, rather cancelled the old one which had no contractual obligations to it, and created a new one. So it was not a gift, just a trick for them to meet their quota. Again, multiple people over the last 6 months make the same type of complaints, i.e. new lines and/or "free" tablets being pushed, or plan upgrades at no additional costs, actually being far for free or far more expensive. The store is an authorized retailer, not a Verizon store. It is shameful from the Verizon side of things too, as their Corporate Verizon claim no responsibility and they ask you to solve your issues through the Store's management, which will dodge your calls and avoid meeting you in person. In my case, they actually claim that the manager responsible was already fired. So "frikking" what? After calling them and asking for hours of a day to meet with the current manager - as Verizon HQ advised me - they promise to get back to me but never do. Don't make any assumptions, don't trust what they say before you go through the fine print and don't rush any purchase, especially when they claim/promise you it is "free", be it upgrade in services, accessories, or tablets. Better yet? Rather don't use this store, or for what matters to me any Victra location altogether. read more

I was at work and was in desperate need of a new phone due to mine getting damaged. I started at the Verizon Victra location in Yorba Linda where I was helped by a gentleman by the name of Conrad he was amazing breaking down the price and making sure I was getting the best deal unfortunately he did not have the phone I needed in stock so he called Chanel who went out of her way to confirm she had the device and held it for me till I got there and which she also reassured that I was getting the best deal and made the transaction as seamless as possible even transferred everything from my old phone to my new one. If you ever need to work with someone who knows how to get things done in a timely manner chanel is a perfect person to assist you. read more

Unfortunately, my phone could not be saved. I had previously gone to the Apple Store and they told me the same thing. It took a little while because my phone had not been backed up and I didn't have all my passwords. Michael was so patient and helpful. We got as much info transferred over to my new phone. They have a staffing problem. The store was full and there was only one worker there up at the front. Nice guy and, from what I could see, helpful but he had an entire store to take care of on his own while his partner was helping customers on the phone in the back. I walked in and probably would have bought a phone right then and there since my phone is smashed to kingdom come but the wait just to see an associate was 2 hours. THIS IS NOT A VERIZON STORE, IT'S AN AUTHORIZED DEALER!! This review is only about the underhanded way the transaction was done, by the Assistant Manager David. This review has nothing to do with Verizon itself. This store used to be a corporate store and I had been a customer there for the past 5 years, so not my first rodeo with upgrades etc. ,now it is owned by authorized Verizon dealer Victra. I ordered my IPhone XS Max and it was being shipped to the store, I thought it was weird that I did not get an email that it had arrived to the store. When I went in to see if it was there, they said it wasn't and gave me someone else's order, the assistant manager David asked me if all the fees had been gone over with me, I said no, as always I pay the tax on the phone and $30 activation fee. He proceeded to tell me that now Verizon charges $179 + tax for the iPhones now. I assumed that to be correct and that it was a extra charge from Verizon now. As the transaction was going through, David said "Oh, I can give you a case, glass and wireless charger for free", so I said ok, I didn't really need them, but they were free right? With out asking me and before I looked up to see what was happening, David had went ahead and placed the glass protector on the phone, I would have asked him not to do that, if he would have asked first. After all was said and done, I left the store with everything, the only good thing was that David told me that it was not worth turning in your old phone as a trade in, because I could get a much higher price for it by selling it on my own. That is the only thing I will thank him for, because I simply switched back to my old phone. Well, a few hours later come to find out, that was all a lie, after calling Verizon, I was informed that this store changed from a corporate store to an authorized dealer and there was no extra charge of any kind other than the tax on the phone and the $30 activation fee. If I had been told that I would have just ordered the phone straight from Verizon online, since I didn't need any of the accessories and I can wait to get it. So, 22hrs later here I am at the store to return everything, of course I am getting the song and dance that this is their bundle fee and they are not required to disclose that they are an authorized dealer. I keep telling him that he said it was Verizon's fee and never mentioned a bundle, but he would never admit to that. Now, as usual they can only return a certain amount, because he can't do anything about re-stocking fee which is $70 and the glass shield that he had put on the phone which would now be $49.99 and some BS about activation fees from their store $19.99. He says everyone charges a bundle fee, which is not true at all, so I waited an hour for it all to finish up and he had to disconnect my Apple watch to make sure everything was done right and I left only being credited $150.36 of the $294.21 I paid just 22 hrs earlier. Also, read the "Satisfaction Guarantee" on their own receipt ( I read it after I got home) I'll try to post a photo of it, but they don't even uphold their own contract. It clearly states that if you return your items within 3days the restocking fee is only $35 and any activation fees will be refunded. Now, I did call Verizon and told them the whole situation, since these stores are representing them and they could not have been any more amazing, they credited my account for the rest of the amount I had paid, ordered my new phone with no other fees and 2 hrs later were able to activate my Apple watch again, because who knows what David did to my account earlier. I even ordered my case, glass and wireless charger from Amazon. Definitely stick with Verizon, but, do not go to this store at the Irvine Spectrum, just go to Apple or Verizon online and get your accessories from Amazon. Always ask if the store you are at is an actual Verizon store or authorized dealer and obviously I am not the only one this has happened to. read more
