I wanted to share my experience with Shboyosha Rai (please forgive any spelling errors). She was an exceptional associate onsite. I initially walked in with questions about upgrading my 12 Pro Max, and she ended up helping me upgrade to a 17 Pro Max! She made the entire process simple and effortless. While assisting me, she was also approached by another couple who were upset about an issue with their prepaid account. She handled their concerns with professionalism and patience, doing her best to resolve the conflict--all while continuing to assist me with my upgrade. Shboyosha truly deserves recognition for her outstanding customer service. In an industry where employees often face various challenges and sometimes unruly behavior, she maintained her composure and provided top-notch support. Way to go, Shboyosha! Beware of this location. I came in to simply upgrade a single phone device that was zero a month because of trade-in, and the rep knew to keep everything on the account the same. I confirmed multiple times to him that my monthly bill should NOT go up and he reassured me of this. Well.. i got my new bill this month.. without consent he upgraded my plan to a premium plan which increased all my phones, added a new next-up monthly charge, and also added a new monthly ATT protection plan. CRAZY the balls on this guy. ATT helped me with those charges and also applied feedback to that store. Disappointing that the majority of the reviews on this location are probably true. read more

I came to this store after calling around for the iPhone I was looking for. They had a COVID-19 policy and the employee asked us to wait at the door. So we ended up waiting and they didn't lock the door up after speaking with us. What was frustrating in this moment was another girl walked up and cut in front of us. I got anxiety the moment this happened because it showed how little they cared about us waiting outside patiently for them to help us. This girl walked straight on and got assisted by another employee that could have been working with us. But instead we had waited over 25 minutes for someone to come let us back in the store. Like good citizens we patiently waited again... Once we explained to them the situation that upset us, they made up an excuse that the girl just slipped in and got helped by someone. They said sorry and didn't really accommodate to the inconvenience they caused me and my girlfriend. We won't be coming back to this store, and I suggest for everyone to stay away from this store. The employees aren't helpful and are just looking for there commission. Go to a corporate store and save yourself a headache read more

AT&T Store - poor customer service here - Mobile Phones Near Me - Foothill Ranch, California

Let me start by saying this review is ONLY receiving one star because it is the minimum requirement. if it were possible I would give zero stars. I went in today with a basic question about travel options. when I entered the store the two employees were seated playing on their devices and the store was completely empty. I was greeted but there was no warmth, friendliness or smiles. I asked for clarification on options and had a question about my account. after the female employee looked up my account, she communicated that I have an older plan and therefore she "can't see what I previously had because it no longer exists" then says my only option is the current plan and they don't do that in store anyway. I said, I wish you would have led with that so I wouldn't have wasted your time. her response was "you asked me to look something up and I did so really YOU wasted MY time." here's the thing. 1. I had already communicated that, and 2. RUDE! IF this entitled female employee had listened to understand instead of listened to respond, she would have seen just how unintelligent she just sounded, but instead chose to respond like a spoiled petulant child. Both employees behaved as though I were an incredible inconvenience for the less than 5 minute experience, and I will be directing EVERYONE I know to other locations. The customer service was abhorrent. I asked a question. I asked them to do their job, but apparently that was asking too much. If you do venture to this location keep your expectations low folks. You will not be met with a warm welcome, a friendly smile, or helpful assistance in anyway. it was disappointing to say the least. I hope that management sees this and administers some much needed customer service and soft skills training. I believe this is a franchise location, and to the owners, I sincere would be embarrassed if those were my employees. They make you look bad and drive business away. I wish the two employees present in the completely empty store had made the executive decision to close early rather than make a customer feel unwanted, uncomfortable and disrespected. read more

Charles, the Store Manager at Foothill Ranch, must be the greatest AT&T employee there is. I came in prime time and the store was very busy with him being the only employee there. Charles did not buckle and kept his professionalism and composure. I had a difficult situation with activating my phone and the whole time, he was empathetic and assured me that it would be resolved. He went above and beyond to rectify the error. I recommend you promote him/give him a raise - he is your rockstar! Give credit where credit is due. The market it tight - you don't want to lose him. Received update on my AT&T web page wishing me happy birthday. And for your birthday stop in and pick up a wireless charger. so on the web page they had three stores listed. This was the closest one. I went there with a print out of the QR scan for the free wireless charger. No noe was in the store at the time so they were not busy. I show him the scan and told him why I was there. He told me right away we don't do that here you have to go to a corp. store like the one in El Toro. He also told me they can't scan QR codes there? What they don't have a phone or a ipad to scan? I had lost my iPhone a couple days ago and was never able to find it! My find-my-iPhone wasn't working so I went in to at&t get some support. The gentleman at the front was very inviting and asked the perfect amount of questions for me to describe my situation. He went on the computer to see if he could find my iPhone-- in the end it didn't work, but he tried every option available. He wouldn't give up on me. I started talking about getting a new phone, and he supported me in the details of every new phone in the place. I love photography and he showed me the camera on the new iPhone xs and I fell in love. I cannot believe the rudeness of the salesperson. As soon as I saw the way the lady in front of me was treated I should have turned tail and ran. They treated her like a common criminal and all she wanted to do was unlock her phone. Me on the other hand, I needed a new SIM card per Apple and the nice AT&T lady this morning. They said to go and pick it up for free. So I went and the salesman said I had to pay for it. I said it was free he said no maybe at the corporate store. I asked where that was his reply "your going to drive there instead of paying $5.00?" Seriously?!?! I will drive any distance to not be spoken too in that way. AT&T I recommend you take back this store and show how customer service works! You customer service over the phone was fabulous!! This gentleman NO. I guarantee you neither I nor my husband will ever step foot in this store again. I would give this store and the sales guy who was "Supposed to help me" 0 stars if I could. Awful experience! I told the sales guy that I wanted the IPhone 13 pro max 512GB. He said they did not have it in the store but he could get it shipped to me in 1-2 days. I said that was fine that I needed it by end of the week. He then changed my plan because my plan was "no longer available." We got to the point where he was supposed to order the phone and he then told me that the soonest he could get it for me was August 29th or 30th. I told him that would not work. He then tried to bait and switch me to the 256gb. I told him I did not want that one. I asked him to change back my plan and he said he could not do that. I said you should not have told me you could get it for me in 1-2 days before switching my plan. He said he didn't know until he checked the inventory. I said you told me 1-2 days. I don't believe he didn't know he couldn't get it for me in that time. I called AT&T and they said they are backed up on this one. He should have known. He kept looking at my husband... to try to get his buy in. Sexist! I have been a customer for AT&T for 25 years. I am now moving to Verizon. I went in to this store to inquire about upgrading my iPhone. Both the manager and new employee insisted that the elite unlimited plan, the most expensive plan, was required to get the full value for my trade in. This is not so. I went online when I went home and was able to purchase the new iPhone 13 with the unlimited starter plan, the least expensive plan, and get full trade in value for my phone. It's one thing trying to upsell a product, but outright lying to the customer is inexcusable. read more

He gave amazing customer service, got us in and out of there, and actually made the experience enjoyable instead of a chore. The store is small and the traffic light, but that didn't affect Bryant's interest in our needs or his ability to answer our questions. We had a great experience here today! My son was upgrading to a new phone and normally, when I go in to other ATT stores, I have to prepare myself for a two hour outing and to be upsold to other ATT products that I don't want or need. Jeffrey was knowledgeable, helpful, fast and completely straightforward about the service and product. We were in and out of the store in less than half an hour and everything has been working smoothly thus far. Unbearably slow with only two workers. That means as soon as three customers show up there's a backlog. The only thing I had to do was give them my trade-in phone and I waited nearly 30 minutes and gave no phones. Awful. Messed us up completely and now we are out of $300. Went in to transfer from Verizon. Neither the manager Phil nor Alex the sales person told us that we'd have to do all the leg work. In fact they told us that they would do all the hard work transferring info and phones and make sure we don't have to pay out of pocket. Guess what? 2 days in the phone with Verizon trying to fix everything. They logged us out of our Verizon account so we can't even get information on order to get paid for money spent on canceling lines. Nobody know what's they're doing in that store and we are out of money now. Thanks so much for your help! Awful. Don't go to this store! Submitting a complaint to ATT. *Making my first ever Yelp review because my experience was fantastic. Had to move my service from a family plan and make changes to my mom's plan, fun stuff we thought might be easier in person than on the phone. So glad we walked in here. Manager Jeff (Le I believe) sat down with us and immediately got to work on what we needed. Listened to what we were looking for, was super efficient, extremely personable, went out of his way to find us the cheapest, most sensible solution (no upselling of things we didn't need or want), the whole time laying out the options and the math in paper clear to see. Took us through the cancellation process via their call center and even suggested the representative on the line might be able to get us an even better deal. In the end, what I thought might be a long unpleasant process was taken care of so smoothly, efficiently, and kindly, it kind of made our day. 100% impeccable and awesome customer service, the definition of the term. Jeff is the man and I HIGHLY recommend seeing him if you have to deal with complicated phone plan stuff, especially if you're thinking of doing it over the phone. As you can see, this place is an "Authorized Retailer", meaning they're only affiliation with AT&T is to make AT&T money. The store is owned by an individual Outside Company, not AT&T, and you can tell. Employees are extremely unprofessional, often times calling a manager not at the store to get very simple info or have obvious questions answered. There was either very little training or these kids just don't care. Either way, find a Corporate AT&T store. read more

The last two times I was there I received great customer service. It didn't hurt that this location is a lot less busy than the regular stores I go to; but the good help was appreciated all the same. Both Jeff and Aria helped me w my phone when I was in there most recently. Jeff actually helped save me money by updating my plan to one that made most sense for me. He also helped look at my iPhone and walked me through upgrade options. Aria was very helpful when I came in with a new phone that I needed to switch over carriers. He also found me a phone cover as well as screen protector; that he even went through the trouble of registering for me online in order to receive a free one if ever damaged. read more

Customer service is non existent in this store. One person only in store. Rude. Slept in the back office for 1 hour and 15 minutes when he admitted he has a 30 minute lunch. Customers stood out in a heat waiting for him to wake up and open the store. Closed at 1:30 p.m. Finally opened it back up at 2:45 after banging on the store window. 100 degree weather. Man in front of me got into a bad verbal argument with employee. And rightfully so. My turn..... All I wanted to do was PAY her cell phone bill and keep it current. I was not allowed to do so, no matter what because I did not have her PIN number. I also left the store on unfriendly terms too. Moving forward... Now I tried to cancel a flip phone cell service that belonged to my 88 year old mother after she had a life changing health event. I still do not have her pin. This was via telephone customer service. Telephoned Customer service is just as bad. Won't let you speak to a supervisor. I asked for the complaint department and was told they do not have one. Customer service suggested I let her account go to "COLLECTIONS" and let it cancel that way. Seriously. I have been extremely mistreated and by the salesman, Alex, at this location. He created a ghost line in my account without telling me (fraud) to enable me to get an upgrade on her IPhone. I have been paying for this ghost line since April, 2017! Now, that I have found this out, they refuse to refund me for a number that has never been used, and was never told about. In addition, Luis, the manager, refuses to allow me to speak to his Supervisor, Eileen. "She'll call you back at her convenience" is what I was told. AT HER CONVENIENCE?? I've been waiting for 3 weeks for someone to call me back. I am the customer, and have been a paying customer since AT& T was PacBell. I will NEVER deal with this retail store. Bought 2 iPhone x's and a new iPad 2 days ago and one of the phones won't even turn on. We were rudely turned away and told to go to apple. Apple said they could send out for repair or we should go back to att for a replacement as there contract states they should replace within 14 days of purchase. Apple tested our phone and confirmed you have a bad phone. This store will do nothing to make this right. How can we purchase a $1k phone that doesn't work and nobody wants to to provide us with a working phone. Worst customer service ever. Dont spend your money here you will loose. read more

If I could give ATT not only this office, but the office of the President whom I called, I would give ZERO stars. I have been with ATT for 13 year, have three cell phones, with all the money I pay them I could drive a Maserati. The young boys in the store were completely unprofessional people were waiting and they were too busy talking on personal calls outside the building on their cells. After one hour I got my I phone 7 paid the taxes 70.00 and I asked them VERY CLEARLY if I would be charged any further. He answered NO. So after a few months I checked my bill and there was a charge of $36.75. Knowing when I call customer service I get sent all over the world with no solution so I called the office of the President of ATT and I received a call back from a lady who, was in my opinion extremely unaccommodating. I explained my story she said not an ATT problem its an Apple problem. By the way I found out you get billed by Citizen One if you purchase a phone from Apple. So I called Apple they were very nice and said its ATT. So I called her back she stated not a machine but her voice I'm out of the office I will call you right back of course she never did. After a few hours I called her. I asked her for a copy of the supposed contract I signed she stated she couldn't get it I had to go to the store and get it. I have just recovered from breast cancer surgery - too bad I still had to drive and get it . Couldn't of she mailed it to me? Too lazy to make an effort. Finally I receive a call back from her and she states we will reimburse you the $275.00 plus cancel the contract (which by the way I have never seen) but she said I have to send my phone back, Does she think I'm stupid? They will take my phone and refurbish it and sell it to some poor unsuspecting fool. I am cancelling my service and they will be losing many good customers. Apparently ATT merged with another company and since then their customer service, in my opinion, has acted in a pernicious manner and I would prefer not to spend 4 hours arguing wasting my time talking to people that lack good manners and civility. I also reported ATT to the Better Business Bureau. What is so deplorable, is ATT is such a large uncaring money making company, I will just be treated with distain by ATT and completely over looked. Go to an actual AT&T store. They basically stole my phone. Their sales associate Travis put me through hours of work just to reverse the damage he did. After hours on the phone with customer service, at Best Buy, being without a phone for a day and finally at an actual corporate store I was able to get the issue resolved. On top of this the Manager on duty right next to him allowed this to happen. Travis simply wanted to make commission of me and did not care about what I wanted. This store and its employees must have gone through a transformation because everyone I've worked with at this store is incredible! The day before Thanksgiving I accidentally put my iPhone 6s plus in the washing machine and it went through a one hour cycle. I didn't have insurance and I still owed $415 to get out of my contract in order to get a new phone. Phil was extremely helpful and let me know that I could go to Staples to try to dry out my phone as they have a cell phone repair department now. He also gave me some tips as to what not to do if your phone gets wet. Two days later I came back into the store after failing to repair my phone. I was using a Galaxy S3 as a back up and I needed help, again Phil along with Garrett were there and helped to get the phone working properly. They were amazing and also suggested several options as to what I could do about getting into an updated phone in the least expensive way. On December 26 I was able to come in and pay off my contract and get into a new iPhone 7 plus. They didn't have any in stock so Garrett personally drove to the RSM AT&T store and picked one up for me as I started the paperwork process with Phil!! (Wow, impressive!!) Once Garrett returned with the phone we moved forward with paying off my 6 plus in which during that time the computers froze. I ended up being there for an hour and a half and the entire time both Garrett and Phil were extremely apologetic for the wait. I even got a $5 discount for my time and when we were finished Garrett even held the door open for me!! Overall...I'm extremely impressed with the customer service and I highly recommend going to this store for your AT&T needs!! read more
