Verizon at the Irvine Spectrum lied and manipulated me during my recent purchase of my iPhone 14. They led me to believe my phone was paid off after I paid in full with cash after the trade in of my old iPhone 13. They instead gave me a credit allowance to force me to finance with them the next 3 years without disclosing it to me. I did not sign anything regarding this finance agreement, yet I am stuck financing a phone with them for the next three years. If I chose to leave to another cell phone company with more integrity I will have to pay over $900 to pay off my phone first. This is their new business strategy to retain people since they cant do contracts anymore!!! When I originally traded my phone in they told me I would receive a $300 credit for my old Iphone 13. I then paid a $900 difference for my new phone 14. 6 months later my bill shows that I have a device payment of ~$50 a month for the next three years. Verizon took my cash and gave me an ~$900 credit for my old phone that only gives a ~$30 allowance monthly for 3 years. If I choose to leave verizon for this terrible business model, I lose the credit they have given me... and the $900 cash value I gave them disappears. Well, it already disappeared anyways because the cashier just took my money and documented my purchase through their scam retainment plan. The receipt online shows I only gave them like $400. I believe the cashier stole my cash deposit for himself and marked me down as financing my phone hoping I wouldn't notice. Ive contacted customer service for this matter 3 times and they keep running me around in circles. The General Manager doesn't even want to call me back because they know they messed up. A lawsuit is coming. Avoid Verizon at all cost. Ive been a loyal customer for over 20 years.... you didn't need to manipulate and lock me in like this. I was a happy customer that just didn't want to finance! read more

My boyfriend and I went to the Apple store to get his broken phone screen fixed. He declined the loaner phone that the Apple store offered and decided to get a new phone from Verizon to use in the meantime. A new phone costs more upfront, but the loaner phone, which was a different version of the iPhone that he has, did not come with a case or screen protector. You either buy a case and screen protector that you will not need after a week, or you risk being held responsible for any damages to the loaner phone. We went to this Verizon location and told Ashley the situation and that we were looking for the cheapest functional phone. She found two options, presented it to him, and it was smooth sailing from there. Ashley provided us with great service. She was transparent, quick, thoughtful, and personable. It is not a great day after breaking your phone, but Ashley turned it around for us. read more

I've been a customer since January and it's now May--and I have nothing but negativity to say about this company. My bill was initially quoted at one price for my bill. After my bill did not reflect that same price I was quoted, I reached out to customer service multiple times about my bill, even going into the store 2x, for them to tell me my bill was "correct" despite it not reflecting the same price I initially agreed upon (and even have the paperwork to prove it). I even traded in my phone, but they didn't even correctly apply the promotion they were having, causing my bill to increase over $150. I was even told I would get it refunded by their manager, but it's been two billing cycles and I still haven't gotten it refunded. If you are contemplating opening a Verizon account, have the reps calculate your monthly total TO THE EXACT DOLLAR and take a photo of the quotes the sales reps give you. They gave me a quote and said, "this is your quote, but with taxes and fees it will only increase a couple dollars." Then when your bill suddenly INCREASES over approximately $100, somehow it's justified because they're never wrong? I'm just so disappointed with customer service and the inconsistenties in what everyone at Verizon is telling me. Somehow, my bills has increased everytime I talk to customer service--all they care about is getting the sale. Keep this in mind, you'll get quoted you one price and the bill will just keep increasing. If I'd known that my bill would basically increase every month, I would have never opened a Verizon account. And to be honest, my customer service has been far worse than my previous carrier, T-mobile. I have not seen nor heard great things about Verizon and I will never recommended this company to anyone. As soon as my contract ends, I will be leaving Verizon. Which sucks that I have to wait until 2027 or pay over $1300 to get out of this contract that I did not agree on. It's so disappointing that this is the customer service I'm paying for. read more

Bilal was great! Helped me fix an issue I was having for a few days trying to activate a smart watch!

I'd watch out for this place. These guys are scammers. They will order things on your account and then do nothing to take it off. Also will add things to your phone plan to get a bigger sale. They are not a Verizon store but an authorized reseller. Im reporting them to corporate for their fraudulent activities. Buyer beware. read more

I'm not a big fan of going into retail phone stores. I like walking in and walking right out. I was looking to switch phone carriers and I was able to do that in a good amount of time. I was super disappointed when apple turned me down when I went in ready to purchase an iPad. I had went into Verizon to see if they had any deals and was a bit lost in the store until the young man Joshua approached me asking if I'd been helped. Amazing service here. Just moved to the area and this is my new local Verizon store. I was greeted by Bilal, and he walked me through the entire process adding a new line to my account. Very good customer service and friendly. Highly recommend. Thank you Bilal! read more

Bilal was amazing, he fixed my phone in five minutes. Rather than the hours spent trying to get my new iPhone working. So happy!!

Came to this location to purchase a Samsung Z Fold, and at point of sale the sales rep scanned a Samsung watch and told me it came free with the phone. My account has been getting charged for both the additional line for the watch, and I've been paying for the watch itself. Management will not return my calls, and Verizon and this location keep giving me the runaround. Don't shop here, or just don't go with Verizon. I've been a customer for 8 years and am now canceling my account with them. read more

Joshua was so helpful, very knowledgeable, super nice and funny. He helped me switch from Sprint/T-Mobile to Verizon. He made it so easy and since I'm not high tech about backing up my phone or transferring anything from my old phone to the new phone he did everything for me. So grateful for his help. So happy with the service glad I made the switch. I recommend you going to this Verizon location and ask for Josh to help you out. read more

Yesi was fantastic!! So responsive and despite many customers she was able to provide exceptional service! Such a life saver today!!!

Worst service at this location. Had to come back next day, came to upgrade they switched off my daughters phone who lives a hour away, put her number onto my phone along with mine and now we are here to get her phone back up and running as was instructed by the employee who swore this was the only way even though in the last 10 years plus of being customers have never had this happen. Now wasting another day here and we come and see that they open at 10 am and just sitting here no one to open the doors 15 min past the time. DONT COME HERE read more

pretty chill lowk def recommend, the workers are nice and I had a nice time look at all the stuff. Its way cooler then the other places.

I went to Verizon to upgrade my 2 year old phone and Balil helped me. He was professional, courteous, and very efficient. I was able to get a substantial credit for my old phone and also left with a new Samsung tablet for pennies a month. Plus I had recently cut off my internet to cox and he threw in a year free Verizon home internet service. It's a white cube I just plug in and it's set up in minutes. I am thoroughly satisfied with the service I received and will always go to the spectrum for my phone and internet needs. read more

Verizon - I snapped this with my free galaxy s23 phone on the down low. - Mobile Phones Near Me - Irvine, California

The people here straight out suck. First off the employee here has such an attitude. He was so disrespectful to myself and my elderly parents. And he kept rolling his eyes at my kids. And he clearly gives kick backs to customers who upgrades phones whenever a new one come out (saw it with my own eyes). Second he lied big time to us! He said that Verizon would take my trade in regardless of the cracks, and 4 months later Verizon just told me I have to pay $1,000 for my new phone because they can't take my trade in. Next time say "I cannot guarantee they are going to take your trade in". I honestly cannot stand this store. read more

Were here earlier today and nobody acknowledged us for 15 minutes. Then a girl said she was new and maybe she could help. We made an appt for later at 8pm tonight. And here we sit at 8:20... for 20 minutes again and nobody even said hello, asked us to sign in, or even acknowledged us even though we're sitting at the counter a few feet away from the 3 people working here. Stay tuned... Keira came out to help us but ultimately we were told they couldn't help us exchange an unopened phone we bought at another store because they are not an actual Verizon store (just an authorized dealer) and cannot access our Verizon account. Bummer. read more

If you want to waste your day come to this store. Came in and waited at least 30 minutes to even be greeted. Usually someone is at the front to check you in and put your name down. Another hour and a half after I was put in the queue I ask the worker Bilal what place I am in line and he says 2 people ahead of you but if you have to leave you should. What type of dumb comment is that. I just waited almost 2 hours I'll sit right back down and wait. Ended up having to cancel my online order of the new phone and re-order with what they had in stock. Still makes no sense how I can order a phone in stock and it instantly goes to back order. I check online after to try and order it again and back in stock.... If you want to have the worst service ever because the only thing they care about is making a sale go there. read more

THIS LOCATION STEALS YOUR TRADE IN SMARTPHONE. Do not shop or do any of you business here. This is not a Verizon store but a "Victra" Verizon authorized reseller, which makes Verizon fully implicated. In October of 2020 I switched to Verizon from T-Mobile, I trade in my almost new iPhone 11 Pro to an iPhone 12 Pro. The agent at the store kept up selling us bullshit deals and would take no for an answer. I relinquished my first iPhone for the new one and was reassured bill credits going forward, month goes by and no credit, second month goes by no credit, THIRD MONTH GOES BY JO CREDIT. I finally contact this location and give them the run down, after being sent to the actual carrier the back to victra and explaining this situation at least a dozen times (and provided screenshots from my statements indicating a device was given for trade in) I get connected to the general manager Mark Speigel. This man does NOT give a crap, says he'll contact Irvine Spectrum security for security footage to see what happened. Surprise surprise it's been too long for them to have any footage and I'm fresh out of luck. I'm out over $1,000. I've left this shit company and you still can too. This is a well oiled theft machine. DO NOT GIVE YOUR TRADE IN TO THIS LOCATION. attached is the guy who handled my transaction, watch out for him!! This entire ordeal took literal years with no resolution, now I'm going to forever talk crap about this company. read more

Romanos is an amazing employee there. Very knowledgeable and helpful. Sadly if you deal with anyone else there they either don't know how things work or they're trying to get you to just buy whatever they're selling. I'm constantly told one thing and then later something different. Romanos is newer to this store and every time he helps me, the things he says are true. I'm able to resolve any issues. But I've had to come back a few times and if he's not there the other employees have made my phone purchasing experience a real headache. Also they're not heavily staffed during busy hours so be warned my whole phone trade in and setup took about 5 hours. Most of it was waiting for them to finish with another customer since they all help 2-4 groups of people at once. Overall Romanos is the light at the end of the tunnel for this store cus he gets me the answers and I can get on my way. read more

I wasn't sure at first if I was making the right decision but after consulting with her she pointed out all the ways I'd be saving money and what amazing services Verizon could provide for me. Shout out to Jose!! One week ago, I went to Verizon in San Diego and added a new line, and had some upgrades. My husband and I were told many things that were not true (like you can't have 2 phone lines coming to the same phone - - - did you know that you can have a business and a personal line both on the same phone?) which meant that we bought a new phone when we didn't need to. He sold us perks and misrepresented what the perks would be. We had many problems with our account. I went into the Irvine Spectrum Verizon for help with all of this, where I met Jose! He is amazing and patient, explains everything clearly, doesn't forget details, methodical and is clearly very knowledgeable about how to navigate complex issues. He patiently spent the next 4.5 hours undoing all of these complicated problems that were created. He explained everything step by step. He was clearly experienced, lots of people skills. Also, doesn't try to sell you lots of accessories that you don't need. When you go to Verizon, see Jose, but all the employees seem knowledgeable. read more

I love the Team here at Verizon. Mark has been awesome, first getting me my new iPhone 13 Pro Max which I love. And yesterday I got my new Apple Watch 7. Both my watch and phone are blue which is so cool. Mark took the time to transfer and set up both for me. This guy goes out of his way to take care of his customers. I believe this is my fifth iPhone and second Apple Watch I have got from Mark. My wife got at least two from him and my brother and my mother and father in law too. I was desperate, in need, and helpless. Mainly because in this day and age you require a cellphone to stay in touch with family and friends 24/7. I came to this location seeking help converting my SIM card to an eSIM to keep myself connected. My humble savior, Bilal, assisted me with my issue, resolved it in no time and made it clear that this location had great service.
