To start off, today 8/30 it honestly seemed like the employee, Louis, did not want to be there or was interested in helping. His attitude made me feel very unwelcome and uncomfortable while I was simply trying to get assistance with my phone situation. I understand that everyone has bad days, but the level of customer service I experienced made me feel like my concerns were an inconvenience. It may be that Louis needs additional training, or perhaps a conversation about how his attitude comes across to customers. As a restaurant manager myself, I understand the importance of providing good customer service, and for me to take the time to leave a review specifically regarding someone's attitude should really say something about the experience. I hope moving forward that the team can be more knowledgeable, helpful, and customer-service oriented. We pay hundreds of dollars to be AT&T customers, so we should feel valued and respected when we come in looking for assistance. read more

While the experience itself was a great experience and the guy helping us was fantastic and super friendly, the issues came up after we left the store. We blindly trusted the guy at the store because he was so friendly. I went home and my phone was not ported correctly so I spent time on the phone with ATT customer service to properly port my phone- this took 30 minutes of my work time and it was quite annoying. Then, I found out the guy added Next Up to my phones when I specifically said I did not want it. I guess it was my fault for not reading my receipt when I was at the store even though I fully trusted the guy would do the right thing? Furthermore, the guy didn't tell me about a $70 activation fee until the end when every thing was done and I asked him about it when I saw it on the print out he showed me. By then it was too late and I just see it as a learning lesson. I am now having issues with trying to cancel Next Up with ATT customer service. I apparently have to wait a few weeks to cancel something I didn't opt in for in the first place? So weird. Very disappointed with my ATT experience. Please be careful and read everything and ask them about "hidden" fees because they were not up front with how much I am paying. 1 star for what I am dealing with right now. If everything was done correctly and I wasn't signed up for something I said no to, I would have given this experience a 5 star experience. read more

While you are there, they tell you what you want to hear to get your business. Once you leave, you realize they lied in your face. We specifically declined insurance on our almost 5 year old phones. We made it very clear that we did NOT want insurance on our phones, to which the rep agreed she wouldn't add it. She then tells us that she is "waiving our activation fee." Well she didnt.. Just received our first bill and guess what??? insurance was added to both phones, even though we explicitly declined and the activation fees are on there. Never again. read more

Terrible service. No enough reps working on a Saturday right before a holiday. Came in on a Sunday, no acknowledgment from the reps working. Waited 10min and still nothing. So left to a diff location and set up my new phone plan there. This store needs better management that's goal is to win over every sale. read more

I went to the store and stephanie said we will check your credit once and i saw the are 4 inquiries on my report and decided not to go with the service and believe me when i say she is rude as hell go there and find out yourselves. Avoid the sales associate Stephanie G as she uses deceptive, if not fraudulent, tactics, to add charges to your account. I purchased an iPhone and traded in my old phone. Although I explicitly told her I do NOT want the device protection plan, Stephanie added it to my account anyway resulting in an unauthorized $17 charge. I tried 4 times to speak to the store manager Sam, but they refused to speak to me. So if there's an issue no one at this store will help you. Reported this practice to AT&T central customer service and had the charges removed. But it took so much time and effort to reverse charges for a plan that I never asked for. Seeing these 1 star reviews is rather interesting since my experience was a very positive one. I came in to set up eSIM since I had just purchased an iPhone 14 Pro Max and the guy that helped me was pretty quick and even offered to help set up the phone after the sim conversation was done even though that part had nothing to do with AT&T. Very happy with the service I got. Only negative of the experience was that the store is very hidden away in the Spectrum so using the mall map is necessary. read more

Walked in and rep (Grant) was sitting down. Told him I wanted to upgrade he asked which phone. I told him which one. Not much conversation. Didn't ask anything about my plan or any questions about anything else I needed.He out the phone case I picked out in the bag and said he'd email my receipt. Once upgrade was done I asked him if he could transfer my stuff over. He said the phone comes with a cable and that I could do it at home because the wifi there is super slow. He said they don't get the transfer machines that cost thousands of dollars that corporate stores get. Okay, I understood and figured it was no big deal but then he just put the phone in the box. I asked him if he was going to activate it and set it all up. He then asked if I wasn't going to transfer the stuff when I got home and that if he set up the phone now the only way to transfer the stuff would be to reset the phone again. I told him it's fine to at least get the new phone working. I felt rushed. He didn't want to get my phone set up, I was never given any paperwork, he didn't give me a receipt, I had to ask twice for one. I then see him put my old sim card (at least 2 years old) in to the new phone. I ask him if I can't get a new sim card for my new phone. He then says that the sim card isn't a bid deal.. that it "just gives you service" He then put the new sim card in my phone and put it in the box. I felt like he wanted me to just leave already so he could go back to watching the basketball game on the TV. Not feeling 100% I sat down and took out the phone from the box and I started activating it on my own. When going through the activation I asked the rep which wifi I could connect to (when setting up the phone it said to connect to wifi). He then answered "Like I mentioned earlier I don't recommend our wifi". Keeping my cool I asked him, "okay so like I said which wifi CAN I connect to?". I got tired of his unwillingness to proactively help and I asked to speak to the manager. Anthony came out. He was helpful and resolved our issue. To make matters worse the rep never even activated the sim that was in the phone (so I would have had to come back or call customer service) and when I was going to put the case on my phone that the rep just put in the bag it wasn't even for the right phone. 5 starts for Anthony! He was awesome and I could tell he takes pride and cares. 0 stars for Grant who didn't even have his nametag on. I only know his name because of the receipt (which I had to ask for twice). To make matters worse I saw on the receipt and started getting emails the next day about attending mobile protection pack for $11.99 that I never asked for or was even told about. Had a great experience the other night wiht Brandon, the store manager. He's extremely knowledgable, and patient. My family and I came in to upgrade two of our phones, and Brandon worked with us throughout the entire process - from start to finish which was about 2 hours. He made sure all of our data transfered over to our new phones...which as you know can be a very scary experience especially because when not done correctly some of your data can be lost, forever. Also the music that was playing in this AT&T store during my visit had multiple derogatory terms for women and African Americans - one of which in particular I prefer not to hear, and also would have preferred my children not to hear. WOW, UNBELIEVABLE!!!!! DO NOT go to this store. Went in and spoke with an employee named William, he tried to sell me insurance for my phone, I told him that I wasn't interested and left the store. The next morning I get a text message from AT&T telling me thank you for signing up for insurance. Went back to the store and spoke with the district manager Samantha, who was just as useless as William, she did nothing to help. It's hard to have a bad experience at a wireless provider's retail location. We go in knowing that long waiting times to be helped is expected and the service provided is never great. It's a mediocre experience that we're all accustomed to. So how did I have a poor experience? I had to explain the upgrade promotion and pull it up on the AT&T site since the manager was not aware. He told me there was no such promo. Once I provided the info I upgraded to Note 10 Plus. The phone connected and prior to signing the e-receipt I told the rep that I don't need any insurance on the device. He said no problem. When I was home I was reviewing the multiple AT&T emails verifying changes to my account. I noticed one email from AT&T welcoming me to Asurion which is their phone insurance program. I instantly thought "this grimy...." I contacted AT&T via chat and cancelled. It dawned on me that this happened to my wife and me a few years back. The kicker is it was from the same heavyset rep. I know they get kickbacks but signing someone up for an insurance program after clearly stating that it is not needed is shady business. The resolution was simple but the fact that this happened to me multiple times by the same rep is unacceptable. 11+ years with AT&T with less than a handful of times in their retail locations. Officially over AT&T and currently shopping for a new phone plan. I came in looking to buy a new phone. They were out of both the iPhone8 and iPhoneX. The sales guy convinced me to still proceed with ordering the phone and having it shipped, before telling me I would have to bring it to the same exact store to have it activated. I live 2 hours away and was not intending to drive back up just for that. I asked him to cancel the order, but he said it was too late, and insinuated that it was my fault for validating the shipping address on the tablet. He didn't try to sell us the most expensive model rather used his tech expertise to get my dad the one that fit his needs. He was so nice and informative that I decided to update my phone as well. We made a big, confusing move to AT&T from T- Mobile. We did it during a great promotion on the last day that it was offered. Our guy worked the promo and the numbers on 2 separate visits with us, and really made the move seamless and truly exceeded any expectations we had. He is personable, well- organized and the epitome of customer service. My husband and I both come from a sales management background, and we aren't easily blown over by our experiences out there in the world . But our guy really is such an asset. We will recommend him to others, and we will follow him like creepers wherever he goes haha... I never thought I would move to AT&T in all honesty. But because of him and his team, I feel great about my move. I should add that they even put Disney Channel on for our 2 toddlers on the big TV to keep them occupied during our visit. Both times.
