It's amazing to me how far down the s**t hole Verizon's quality and reliability have gone in the past few years. When I first moved to SoCal and signed up for service, everywhere I went I got a good signal on my phone, and I could use my data plan pretty much anywhere - even inside some buildings. Today, most of the places I spend time I get no more than two bars, and you could measure the speed of my data throughput in furlongs per fortnight - that's NOT worth paying Verizon's prices for. Last week, I decided enough was enough - I switched to Tmobile, and now I get unlimited data for half the price Verizon was charging me AND I've got no less than four bars everywhere. If you're a Verizon customer, and you feel like you can't live without a strong Wi-Fi network wherever you are, I suggest you vote with your feet and start getting the service you're paying for by going someplace else! read more

Morons working at this store. Came in 2 weeks ago and was added to my husbands account, added service and added as an authorized person on the account. Told at that time if we bring in a copy of a military dd2 number we would receive a discount. So, I'm here today with the copy of the dd2 and was told they will not accept the form from me and husband needs to be present because somehow when I was added to the account, I wasn't really added. And no, even if I call him and have him talk to them, they won't accept it. And even if I know the passcode on the account, they won't accept the form from me. WTH Verizon??? The store is being remodeled so this isn't about the store at all. I had the "pleasure" of being assisted by a gentleman named Brian. My daughter was being assisted by another Verizon employee purchasing a new phone. I saw a wireless headphone that I wanted to purchase myself. I asked Brian for help and asked if I was already being helped. I told him I wasn't but my daughter was purchasing a new phone and I was paying separately with a different transaction since I was not paying for my daughters phone. This guy rolled his eyes. Rudely asked another coworker to get the key to unlock the display. I decided to ignore his behavior since I just needed the headphones. But stupid me wanted to ask what the price difference was between another set. Clearly that was just too much customer service for Brian to handle. I said Nevermind and just paid for the headphones. He walked away and just gave me my receipt and that was it. I hope to God I get a survey for him from Verizon. But just Incase I wanted his store to know he's rude and an asshole. The reason for the one star, is because the in store customer service here sucks. I came in to pay my bill and inquire about my sons phone that has been misplaced for 3 months. I know they have the tech to track and see if data etc had been used. Welp as soon as I brought that up one guy passes me on to another guy that seemed way to happy to help (sarcastic). Lycky nobody had used his phone but as to track it they say theres no way.. ok fine, then hes trying to sell us another phone but I have insurance and once I mentioned that his tone changed. Their were other employees just standing around texting on their phone and laughing. The one guy that I was talking to kept looking over to them and smiling and not showing any interest in us, so we just walked away and I called customer service on the phone and the lady that helped was super nice and helful... Terrible and unhelpful customer service. I came here to get a SIM card for an unlocked phone I purchased from another retailer. Once I said what I was looking for, all of the salesman's enthusiasm went out the window. He barely tested the SIM card, told me it wasn't working, and didn't offer any troubleshooting assistance. He convinced me that the issue was because I hadn't purchased the phone thru Verizon directly. Well, I went to another authorized Verizon store and they installed the SIM successfully and the phone works completely fine. This place seems over-staffed with under-helpful people. Came in to return my iphone 11 pro max that was defective. I bought it from verizon.com and i guess i got a a bad one. Anyways they offered to order me a new one but was gonna take up to 3 weeks to get it cause they are sold out. So i just picked the iphone 11 They charged a restocking fee which is stupid cause its not my fault but they told me over the phone that they wouldnt charge a fee so i just called them when i got home and they waved the fee. Huge shout out to Malay! We had originally tried to set up our phone plan online, then via telesales, and been given the run-around from both. As our intention was to avoid the 30min drive to the store, we were quite frustrated when we ultimately had to make the trip in person. However, Malay helped us with getting everything set up quickly and efficiently. We were in and out of the store in less than half the time we had originally wasted over the phone and computer. So I go into the store to change my plan to a lower priced plan. The guy told me I already have the lowest price plan. Guess he was hoping I didn't check on the website before I went to the store. Of course, they did have a lower priced plan, so, of course I switched. What kind of BS is Verizon trying to pull here ? Having their people try to lie ? By the way, the new lower priced plan is twice as much as T-Mobile, for the same things. Would recommend a different location, the service here seems like a hit or miss depending on who's available. The male workers seem pretty bad at their jobs. I was there for internet service and told the guy checking us in that. Instead of checking first if the equipment is available, he just checked us in and disappeared to the back room. After 90 mins, a more informed worker did a quick inventory check and told us none were available. Not the best experience but it's also annoying that there were 4 employees helping customers and 2 suddenly disappeared in the back for over and hour and never came back. read more

Upon arriving, Ryan got me checked in and let me know the estimated wait time.. while I was sitting I was able to overhear Vanessa the store Manger taking care of some customers & immediately I knew I came to the right store She was very busy assisting customers and guiding employees, but still took the time to hear my concerns & understand my frustrations. I will never give this store my business again. I went in for a Early Upgrade Trade In where I Trade in my device for a newer one. Once my phone was received, they would pay off the balance of my old phone! They screwed me over and did the wrong trade in. They emailed me a gift card for what my old phone was worth. Which didn't cover the amount I still owed! So I got screwed and had to pay the rest of the amount that was not covered!!! Not only that, I went in to get my father in law the promotional phone (phone is pretty much free with a monthly credit to cover the payment). They said that they didn't have any in stock and that they will need to order one. When I asked if any other local stores had them in stock, they said all stores were in back order! 3 staff members, including management, were not able to properly activate my iphone 7. This was irritating and unsettling, as it is expected that such staff should know how to handle the products they're selling, even more-so, because it is a brand new phone that is quite costly. Within the lengthy, anxiety inducing ordeal of having to see these "nacos" anxiously trying to figure out the phone, one of them suggested that I switch out the sim card from my old iphone and throw away the original sim from the new iphone. I didn't trust their advice, but allowed them to switch the sim cards out anyway. I decided to keep the original sim card due to my distrust. I started using the phone after I got home. The screen started blinking. I restarted the phone a few times and it kept blinking !! I freaked out and called Verizon tech support, and the person over the phone was confident and fluent in understanding iphone. He suggested that I put the original sim card back in the phone and he restarted my phone, which completely fixed the problem. Im so glad I followed my hunch by having saved the original sim card. I can't imagine the nightmare that would have ensued with having to deal with a faulty phone. It's so angering to know incompetent staff is handling valuable devices. Please keep staff that understands and can manage ALL devices being sold. Lesson learned, DO NOT let Verizon store staff manage your apple devices. I was debating between 3 and 4 stars. I chose 3 because of the wait. Everytime I go I wait 20 mins at the LEAST which is usually expected at a phone store but the one in eastvale is my new fav. We went to this Verizon store to purchase an iphone 12 and they told us that we have to order online. We asked if once we have the new phone, if we can bring it to them to transfer data from the old phone to the new phone. They told us that they couldn't do it for us. What they did instead was gave us two pieces of papers with instructions on how to do it ourselves!!! We were shocked because this is a Verizon corporate-owned store and they couldn't do it for us!!! BEWARE! ANYONE BUYING IPHONE7 Verizon's new programs gives your iPhone6 and 6s $650 trade in credit. They do this by giving you $27 month credit for 24 months (equals $650). You trade in the iPhone6, and get that credit applied. This store TRIES to bs you, and says Verizon requires you to buy into one of their packages (I.e. The car kit package). This is NOT required. Any Best Buy or Verizon store will tell you this. You DO NOT need to buy the car kit package to get the $27 a month credit. DO NOT fall into this trap. Go somewhere else, trade in your iPhone 6, and get your new 7 without having to buy into any other program. The "car kit" program adds $10 a month for 24 months ... That's $240 extra you'll be paying for a dumb case, a car charger, and a glass protector worth $5. read more

Pierre took advantage of his limited english and switched us from our americas choice 1400 with 3 lines on the 6gb max plan to the MORE EVERYTHING 15gb plan. This plan is costing us MORE $ AND we're getting LESS DATA! I want our plans changed back! He laughed at me when I requested this! Lies lies! Lies! He kept insisting he went over the plan and got approval from my dad. Who in their RIGHT MIND would give the OK to pay nearly $70 more than thteir current $213 bill, for LESS DATA, so that they could incur overages and end up paying $400/mo?! No matter how Pierre argues it, its not believable. He told you not to make any changes! Than to add insult to.injury, he took it upon himself to add family base monitoring. My dad barely knows how to text msg, how did you convince him to pay extra $ for this festure, that reauires him to go online, login and monitor data? My dad doesnt know what internet is!!! I'm back to update my last review on this Verizon store. I was a bit harsh, but trust me, it is well deserved. My mom's plan was due for an upgrade and mine was just a couple months later. She did not see any phones she liked so she was willing to give me her upgrade and she can use mine in a couple months if she decided she liked a phone enough. So, I called the Verizon store and asked if I could use my mom's upgrade without adding data to her plan. The employee said no we can't do that. So a month goes by and my phone dies on me so I come into the store with my mom and the employee determines that my phone has officially died. I then asked HIM if I could use my mom's upgrade and he said of course, we can do that. So.....although the outcome was what I wanted, I could have had a new phone for a month already. And, that's not the point. The point is that time and time again I have come to this store to be told different "policies" by different employees. I'm beginning to feel that Verizon has no real "policy" at all, but rather it's a personal decision for every employee whether they feeeeel like helping out a customer or not that day. I have been a Verizon customer for more than 15 yrs (back when they carried Nextels) and this is by far the WORST Verizon store I have ever been too. I would give them a negative star if it was allowed. POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE, there is always a wait, even when there are more staff than customers. Staff is poorly trained and incapable of helping with basic functions like transferring data to new phones. They routinely give bad information and you will always be solicited to buy a new tablet or something/anything. BUYER BEWARE, do not shop at this location, better to wait a few extra days and make your purchases online. Question: Why do you need a 2yr contract/data plan for a tablet? Wi Fi is free...
