Target - Chino Hills Yesterday, the Target system went down, yet the store continued to allow purchases without informing customers of the issue. However, when I attempted to return an item purchased that same day, I was told it could not be processed because the system was offline. This situation could have been avoided with better communication and transparency. What made the experience especially disappointing was the treatment I received at the customer service desk. Claudia and Breanna were unhelpful, and instead of de-escalating an already frustrating situation, Claudia began lecturing me. Basic customer service should focus on empathy and problem-solving, not antagonizing customers. After spending over an hour at the store, I asked to speak with the General Manager, Bobby. I was redirected to Emmanuel, who said nothing could be done. Bobby was supposed to follow up with a call but never did. The only bright spot in this experience was Nicole, a new employee who provided excellent customer service. She took my phone number, kept me updated on the system status, and followed through by printing a new receipt and gift card receipt once the system was restored. Her professionalism, communication, and kindness made a significant difference, and she deserves recognition. While I appreciate Nicole's efforts, this location clearly needs improvement in management response and customer service training. Customers should never be left uninformed or spoken down to for issues caused by store systems. I'm only giving a 1 stare due to Nichole otherwise it would be 1 read more

I'm so disappointed that I went back. Their online website said they had "3 left in stock". Lied to again. I went today and wasted my time. Decided ok I'm here I'll get my dinner I guess. Do you know how long it takes to check out of this target? I had 4 items. I swear to god they don't have a quick checkout line like every store in the planet. They have 2............2 cashiers every single time I go there . With 16 registers. Best part.... I carried everything to the register by hand cause get this..... Not a damn shopping cart. It's always been like this at this horribly managed target. Shopping cars are all in the parking lot. Lines are 45 minutes long due to not enough cashiers. And the best part. I found 6 employees just laughing it up in the back right corner of the store. You can't make this shit up. This is the worst target in America. Avoid it. read more

Horribly planned drive-up parking. They have removed any close parking to the entrance of the building and replaced it with 40+ spaces of drive-up pickup, and just about all of the spaces are completely empty. There is very little parking in this lot to begin with, so the added stress of drive up RIGHT IN THE MIDDLE makes absolutely no sense. Worst target to come to. read more

Please recognize Isabel . I was there 7/31/2025 . Looking for a specific item for my wife , it showed that it was in stock but the shelf was empty . I saw Isabel and asked if she cam help me find this item . She did her due diligence and checked the stocked and went to look for it as it said that it was delivered to the store . After about 15 minutes she comes back with the box to fulfill the shelf and I was able to get my item and was very happy . Im grateful that people such as herself are employed here and take time to help the customers. This store is dirty and looks like a tornado struck the entire store. I have never seen a target in such chaos. Employees walking around and doing nothing. Time to get a management team that can supervise and maintain some sort of professionalism. Trying to find products was useless. read more

This Target is huge and probably one of the most hidden location, I checked out a few departments including toys, collectibles and others, I noticed they got some items that had been sitting on the shelves for a while, some become peck warmers, must have been because no-one did any toys hunting around here, some were even gone on discounts, I never seen a specific figure would go on sales at that price, which was unthinkable at the other Target, but luckily they do price match, still haven't found my Transformers figure, I am going to check out more Targets stores in the next few days read more

This Target location is not one of my favorites but I will stop by a few times during the year to grab a few items, especially since this location is a bit out of my usual route. Stopped by last weekend and the parking lot was busy, lots of cars coming and going, but it was beyond dirty with lots of trash strewn everywhere. This location also does not seem that it has been remodeled yet, so it feels cramped on the inside. They did not carry the items that I was looking for, so it was a rather short trip. Overall, this location is "convenient" if you live in the area or is on your usual route but other than that, I cannot say it exceeded my expectations - even for a box store as Target. read more

I always come to this location, super close to my house. I needed to get some groceries and thought I would just grab my MORPHE brow and setting mist here in the ulta section instead of running to an ulta free standing location. I worked in cosmetics for 13 years, so I understand that people steal, but I was so uncomfortable with the employee. Every section I walk into she's turning to watch me. I get I was dressed sloppy but I just had a baby not long ago, I'm exhausted, and don't have my daughter with me so I was excited to look around and take my time. Online order, purchased a super Mario boo house lego set. As soon as you walk in on your right hand side they have the online order sign, one thing I noticed is there's no place to get in line to pick up only for returns/exchanges. I asked one of the guys fixing the carts inside, very polite and said to stand on the side and someone would help me. No joke It took me about 5 mins from the moment I entered the store to the moment the girl gave me my order. Although the store was full they were quick and polite. Loved it! BTW download the app and it also gives you the option to have someone bring out what you ordered instead of actually entering the store which I find convenient. Your choice :) read more

I went to Target today and was so impressed by two staff members there. They went over and beyond to help me! Davon and a sweet lady who was working in he men's department who said she only had been working for target for two months! Davon was very helpful at the customer service area. He was very kind, helpful, and guided me with everything. He went over and beyond! The lady in the men's department was the sweetest and I told her I was looking for something specific and she showed me other tbings also suggested other items and what would work possibly! She was so amazing and so sweet to go completely out of the way to help! You two are amazing! Definitely gave a great view of this store! The store is a little older now but everything seems to be clean and in it's place. The parking can be packed at times but still have extra parking around. read more

This has to be one of the worst run Tatget's I have visited. They are constantly loosing good employees and THE CAFE IS AJOKE. Or, at least management treats the CAFE as one. The oven has been out for 2 months. 1 month to get a used one from another store and the 2nd month to bring in an electrician to get the proper plug put in the wall At times when we come in during lunch hours and they will have employees on break, yes during lunch hour. The review above was typed in Nov. 2019 but not completed. Today as of Jan. 2019 the oven that was eventually fixed is now broken AGAIN. Yes, poor management at its best. Had to stop by to the phone section because my housemate's phone needed a new sim card. The phone company made an appointment to this Target and we stopped by. Janell and Jessica helped us out. Both were very professional and nice, the whole thing took less than ten minutes and we were on our way. These two ladies should get a pat on the back and some attention for making an experience better. The store was a zoo, lots of crazy kids with no parental supervision and overall rude shoppers. Just walking to the back of the store was a chore cutting through the rude people. I checked in yesterday to purchase a Cheese Pizza to enjoy with my Starbucks Pink Drink and the Food Court Host was so energetic, welcoming, and hustled with incredible Heart and Gourtmet Hospitality. Do not place a drive up order at this location. App says your order will be ready within 2 hours, but it never is. My order sometimes isn't ready until the next day. Save your time and order your items from the Chino location. They actually have your order ready within the 2 hours. read more

Wow. I just left town a few months and came back to see the big difference in Target today. Store is super clean and organized, larger aisles, very bright and airy, especially, in food and pantry sections, very fresh fruits and vegetables. They even have people standing in front to greet customers. To speed up service, they have employees assisting customers to the available checkout counters... And the thing that I like the most is they have added the Self-checkout counters. Kudos Target. Please add a few more. Just so you know, using Target cc will give you an instant 5% off.
