I absolutely love Dollar tree! This location specifically. It's always so well kept and clean. The shelves are neatly stocked. Truly a little bit of everything here. The store manager Leo is super sweet he always greets everyone with a smile and a hello. I've been coming here for years so he always ask about my kiddos. The entire staff is really sweet, the service is always good. I came today because I'm making my daughter a chore chart, I also wanted to grab a few other workbooks. I love that they have a section for educational items, you can honestly get some great things at such an affordable price. Workbooks, flash cards, posters, you name it they have it. I also was able to get my baby girls Easter basket goodies. I didn't come in for that lol but I was able to knock everything out in one trip. That's what I love about Dollar tree, they have a little of everything. Great place to shop and not break the bank. Thank you Dollar tree for a great shopping experience. read more

We swung by Dollar Tree for some school supplies bc nothing says "academic excellence" like a $1.25 protractor. Shockingly, they had everything we needed, which felt suspiciously like we were in the Twilight Zone. The place was tidy, well-stocked, and ready to rescue every last-minute shopper w a glue-stick emergency. And just when we thought we were safe--boom, Halloween stuff!!! In August??? Great stop to find those unconventional costume items for customized fabrications. Stopped in with a friend from outta town getting some last min costume details. Great deals and products. I found some plastic tumbler cups to use for rocket thrusters. Holds paint well very sturdy. They had all purpose glues and masking, electrical, duct, painters, shipping tape. Seasonal items are in the front entrance area. Also a large selection of craft items and party bags, cards, gift cards and balloons. Great service! read more

Just went to Dollar Tree and spent $7 on this baby doll for my 3 year old niece. The lights and sounds don't even work. I'd understand maybe $3 or $4, but I could've just went to Walmart. Dollar Tree - $7 and doesn't even work - Discount Store Near Me - Chino Hills, California

Their Return policy (and exchanges) had too many specifics it was difficult to make the return. This is for all Dollar Tree but at the discretion of the Manager. I finally got my refund at the Chino Hills Pkwy., Chino Hills store. They were more understanding there than this miserable place. They should write the Return Policy in the back of the receipt rather than risk the altercation with the cashier and Manager trying to make the return. It's not as easy as just having the receipt. The rest of the requirements are a pain in the ass. This also applies to Exchanges. Buyer Beware. read more

I've never been to a Dollar Tree! (came for 3 random items on list, left with 20+ ...) * Everything in store is $1.25 (thanks inflation...also unless otherwise marked) * Great holiday option for Xmas bags, boxes, decor, Santa hats, stocking stuffers, etc. (and now V-day) * Aisles separated into categories (but not labeled) such as housewares, cleaning supplies, arts & crafts, greeting cards, organizers, and more * Store is neat and clean * Staff is cheery & helpful (even during holiday rush) * Free parking in large plaza lot FOUR stars **** read more

Register is understaffed, but there are other employees chilling, walking around. Clean and well organized with a good amount of options. You get what you would expect from a dollar tree. Conveniently located in a center with lots of other shops, so you're able to get some food or gas when you stop by. TLDR - clean, long line to check out read more

Service was efficient and they always offered to help when I had questions! They always had every item I was looking for.

Cashier doesn't know how to mind her own business. Wanted to pay $5 cash and rest on card, and she proceeded to question why I was walking around with a $5 dollar bill in my hand when my total was $10 with an ATTITUDE. terrible customer service. Won't be coming back here read more

Been to this branch of Dollar Trees many trips so this is a long delayed review. Line was always fast when I went in and out of this Chino Hills, CA Dollar Tree for random shopping for the backyard supplies. Parking is always free in the plaza and very convenient location. If I'm in the area purposefully again in this future and need something for my yard, I will swing by. Well stocked on most everything I needed and didn't need. read more

This Dollar Tree is one of the more organized one's, and they have a bigger variety of items! They aren't Dollar everything anymore. Somethings are $1.25 (For all Dollar Tree's) just letting everyone know if not everyone got the memo. The parking is pretty huge since it's in a plaza where their is a few restaurants, a few small shops, a pet store, a Goodwill and a few other things. You shouldn't have issues finding parking. I've never had issues even on a busy weekend. It depends if you wanna walk or not too, lol! I park far when it comes to a busy weekend, but it's not too far. This store has plenty of things available. I like buying essentials here, some fuzzy socks for the house, they have some good snacks here too. They have a variety of things. Due to Covid19 though, they are short on cashiers... that is the downside of it. They only have one cashier line open for most days. The lines tend to get long especially during the Holiday's and weekends when people are shopping. You gotta be a little patient. I'm working on my patience's, hahaha! I do love shopping here though! The only reason why I knocked down a star is because of the short of cashiers! Otherwise, Happy Shopping! Can never go wrong buying things for around only a dollar! :) read more

Dollar Tree - Dollar tree entrance with decorations - Discount Store Near Me - Chino Hills, California

Needed to get a quick, cheap graduation card. What better place than a Dollar Tree! Went straight for the cards, but not much of a selection left. Found the perfect one after a couple minutes of fingering through the selections. And then the temptation kicked in! I had to walk around the store a bit, and I found a couple items I could use....toothpaste, back scratcher, and food containers. Checkout was quick and easy. The cashier, Jared, was nice and cordial. Cash back charge is $1! There's a Chase Bank in the center, I'd rather pull cash from there for free. The store is bigger than most that I've been too. It definitely has a lot to select from. The store is a bit messy, but cleaner than most. read more

The candy selection is super extensive here! Like 4 aisles of just candy and a bunch of holiday candy (this time Easter) in the entrance. Definitely a steal! They have okay containers for organizing things. Good if you want cheap crappy ones for temporary use. Sandwich containers are great. Lots of ziplock bags for just a $1. And Nailpolish! It's actually decent quality if you but L.A. Colors -- especially the glittery ones. Love. Great place to buy odd and ends especially for children's parties and such. Balloons, plates, table cloths, and utensils! read more

I didn't actually get to shop here but this review is solely on the customer service I did receive. I double, triple checked to make sure they opened early so I could grab some happy birthday balloons right before I'd head to work. I was driving around in circles because I couldn't locate it in the huge plaza! So I decided to call them and the nice gentleman named me the adjacent stores. At the end of our conversation he says "by the way, we're not open until 9." WHAT! It was 8:30 when I called and I was desperate for balloons! I didn't want to bother because they hadn't even opened up shop yet. Yelp says it opens at 8AM, and I asked him about it. He told me those were the "seasonal hours." So now I'm not too sure when their business hours are. But I applaud the nice gentleman for even picking up the phone when they weren't even open yet! read more

Great customer service! I paid for and forgot an item and the cashier came running out to give me it despite him having a long line of customers. They also always have cute holiday items read more

It's always fun to shop in this store. The seasonal items really add inspiration to the holiday. The $1.25 price is still a bargain. Sometimes the customer service is not consistent which is a bummer. read more

I really like this location's store. The store is ALWAYS kept clean and has GREAT customer service. They have name brand products in the store that you normally would see in a regular store. For example Digornio and Red Baron pizzas. It seems to me they have more products at this location, than any other locations I have visited. I suggest people go and check it out for themselves. It's in the parking lot where McDonalds and Robeks is located on Chino Hills Parkway. read more

This particular dollar tree is kinda boring! I can't find anything I need and it's kinda small. The peeps in here working are not friendly, it's weird cuz it's all of them. I guess they hire likeminded peeps?? I've been to several other dollar trees and they are veery welcoming and helpful. Maybe cuz they have, more?? Idk lol I've decided not to come to this one again, too bad cuz I like to browse and end up spending more than I should, just not here. read more

I love this location! The manager and workers are so nice and helpful, and the store has a great selection of items. Management and store staff are awesome. Yesterday I stopped by to get a bunch of balloons, the Employed help iba everybody was by herself, her name was Camille. She helped me to choose and blew each of six balloons while also helping other customers around the store. When it was time to check out, about four different customers were online ready to pay, Manager was gone on his break, and something happened to the cashier were she needed a password from her manager. She was very apologetic and handled everything very professional. Camille, you deserve a raise. Job well done!!! read more

In the mood for a dollar store in which the food isn't expired? Then dollar tree it is!! I love going to this establishment when I'm looking for some hand lotion or other little knickknacks but don't want to bother in the long lines at walmart. They are so organized and you can so plan a party based on the dollar tree. Want a princess party for your daughter? Check. Want a fun bachelorette party (no kinky stuff though)? Check. Want a modern bday party for your little boy in the newest thing ...well.. ok maybe no. Some of their things are really up to date like cartoons from the cartoon network... but you still need to go traipsing to Target if you are looking for a certain product It is like a treasure hunt here. I love that I can buy food and not regret it. I love the 99 cents store, but there were multiple times I find questionable food with dates from last year!! Everything is organized...they are always up to date with Holidays and offer cheaper alternatives like $1 easter baskets and decorations. The best part... if you still have a fixing for more discount store fun, Big lots and 99 cent store is across the street. This is a store needed to be added to the must-do recession or no recession. read more

Yes - I LOVE the Dollar Tree. Who wouldn't? Why spend big bucks on greeting cards that people rarely read - ok - maybe who signed it & then on to the gift. 50 CENTS EACH - such a deal. Better than the "other store" where cards are 99 cents....hmmmmm. Like all the party goodies. They have a great selection of plastic trays, platters, etc so you can take something to a partry & forget about! Then the hostess has something later. Nice! Try the HUGE bag of popped popcorn. This is somewhat of a top secret thing in the store - and once you know about it you'll find that often it's sold out. But when you find it - BUY IT! It is like movie popcorn minus the greasy butter that goes straight to your veins. Yes - even you youngsters beware! But I have to give this store 4 stars because of its lack of cleanliness. Employees don't seem to notice items on the floor. I have watched on numerous occasions an employee actually STEP OVER merchandise as they walk through the store. Hey America's younger employees - THIS IS YOUR JOB. No matter how often you have to bend over & pick something up - DO IT. You are getting paid to maintain a clean store. Don't bother saying something to the manager about the store. It has only gotten worse over the years. Sad but true. Perhaps they will see my post? read more

So I go in just to browse while my wife was in another store. I saw a black 2016 planner that I liked and went to purchase it. I only had $20 cash and the cashier said "I can't break that. " I understand that but she didn't offer to get change or anything. I said it's ok I'll just go and she asked if I was sure and I said yes but there was nothing done to make the transaction happen. Just disappointed. But on the good side is a nice location and the place is clean. read more

Last night I drove to this Dollar Tree for birthday balloons and I walked in to ask one of the workers for them. She said they had no helium, actually that they were saving the helium for Valentine's Day. This was the second dollar tree I had gone to for both of them to tell me the same thing. I thought that was terrible customer service since Valentine's Day is almost a month away and it's not like I needed all their helium inventory. read more

Typical dollar store. Gotta love cheap stuff! However, I personally feel as if the 99 Cents store across the street has a better selection. Customer service at this location isn't all that great, either. Last time I went in, the girl who rung me up just glared at me and didn't say a word. No 'hello', no 'thank you for shopping here'... literally nothing. As someone who works in retail, I really did not appreciate that! It's not that hard to fake a smile and at least greet the customer. Other than that, it's a decent store. read more

This place is the reason I will NEVER pay full price (or more than a $1) for a gift bag. Over the Christmas season, I bought several really cute and nice gift bags that looked like something I had picked up at a Hallmark. I was impressed with the quality and design. Other than that, this is the place for items like dish soap, sponges, cloths, scotch tape (random!), balloons, and things of that sort. I don't think I'd buy food here, but I guess it would be dependent on the expiration date. Anyhow, it's a cool place to browse through. You'll likely end up buying a bunch of knick knacks . read more
