I absolutely love Dollar tree! This location specifically. It's always so well kept and clean. The shelves are neatly stocked. Truly a little bit of everything here. The store manager Leo is super sweet he always greets everyone with a smile and a hello. I've been coming here for years so he always ask about my kiddos. The entire staff is really sweet, the service is always good. I came today because I'm making my daughter a chore chart, I also wanted to grab a few other workbooks. I love that they have a section for educational items, you can honestly get some great things at such an affordable price. Workbooks, flash cards, posters, you name it they have it. I also was able to get my baby girls Easter basket goodies. I didn't come in for that lol but I was able to knock everything out in one trip. Great stop to find those unconventional costume items for customized fabrications. Stopped in with a friend from outta town getting some last min costume details. Great deals and products. I found some plastic tumbler cups to use for rocket thrusters. Holds paint well very sturdy. They had all purpose glues and masking, electrical, duct, painters, shipping tape. Their Return policy (and exchanges) had too many specifics it was difficult to make the return. This is for all Dollar Tree but at the discretion of the Manager. I finally got my refund at the Chino Hills Pkwy., Chino Hills store. They were more understanding there than this miserable place. They should write the Return Policy in the back of the receipt rather than risk the altercation with the cashier and Manager trying to make the return. It's not as easy as just having the receipt. This Dollar Tree is one of the more organized one's, and they have a bigger variety of items! They aren't Dollar everything anymore. Somethings are $1.25 (For all Dollar Tree's) just letting everyone know if not everyone got the memo. The parking is pretty huge since it's in a plaza where their is a few restaurants, a few small shops, a pet store, a Goodwill and a few other things. You shouldn't have issues finding parking. I've never had issues even on a busy weekend. It depends if you wanna walk or not too, lol! I park far when it comes to a busy weekend, but it's not too far. This store has plenty of things available. I like buying essentials here, some fuzzy socks for the house, they have some good snacks here too. They have a variety of things. Due to Covid19 though, they are short on cashiers... that is the downside of it. They only have one cashier line open for most days. The lines tend to get long especially during the Holiday's and weekends when people are shopping. You gotta be a little patient. I'm working on my patience's, hahaha! I do love shopping here though! I didn't actually get to shop here but this review is solely on the customer service I did receive. I double, triple checked to make sure they opened early so I could grab some happy birthday balloons right before I'd head to work. I was driving around in circles because I couldn't locate it in the huge plaza! So I decided to call them and the nice gentleman named me the adjacent stores. At the end of our conversation he says "by the way, we're not open until 9." WHAT! It was 8:30 when I called and I was desperate for balloons! I didn't want to bother because they hadn't even opened up shop yet. Yelp says it opens at 8AM, and I asked him about it. He told me those were the "seasonal hours." Needed to get a quick, cheap graduation card. What better place than a Dollar Tree! Went straight for the cards, but not much of a selection left. Found the perfect one after a couple minutes of fingering through the selections. And then the temptation kicked in! I had to walk around the store a bit, and I found a couple items I could use....toothpaste, back scratcher, and food containers. Checkout was quick and easy. The cashier, Jared, was nice and cordial. Cash back charge is $1! There's a Chase Bank in the center, I'd rather pull cash from there for free. The store is bigger than most that I've been too. It definitely has a lot to select from. The candy selection is super extensive here! Like 4 aisles of just candy and a bunch of holiday candy (this time Easter) in the entrance. Definitely a steal! They have okay containers for organizing things. Good if you want cheap crappy ones for temporary use. Sandwich containers are great. Lots of ziplock bags for just a $1. And Nailpolish! It's actually decent quality if you but L.A. Colors -- especially the glittery ones. Love. Great place to buy odd and ends especially for children's parties and such. I really like this location's store. The store is ALWAYS kept clean and has GREAT customer service. They have name brand products in the store that you normally would see in a regular store. For example Digornio and Red Baron pizzas. It seems to me they have more products at this location, than any other locations I have visited. I suggest people go and check it out for themselves. Management and store staff are awesome. Yesterday I stopped by to get a bunch of balloons, the Employed help iba everybody was by herself, her name was Camille. She helped me to choose and blew each of six balloons while also helping other customers around the store. When it was time to check out, about four different customers were online ready to pay, Manager was gone on his break, and something happened to the cashier were she needed a password from her manager. She said they had no helium, actually that they were saving the helium for Valentine's Day. This was the second dollar tree I had gone to for both of them to tell me the same thing. I love going to this establishment when I'm looking for some hand lotion or other little knickknacks but don't want to bother in the long lines at walmart. They are so organized and you can so plan a party based on the dollar tree. Want a princess party for your daughter? Check. Want a fun bachelorette party (no kinky stuff though)? Check. Yes - I LOVE the Dollar Tree. Who wouldn't? Why spend big bucks on greeting cards that people rarely read - ok - maybe who signed it & then on to the gift. 50 CENTS EACH - such a deal. Better than the "other store" where cards are 99 cents....hmmmmm. Like all the party goodies. They have a great selection of plastic trays, platters, etc so you can take something to a partry & forget about! Then the hostess has something later. Nice! Try the HUGE bag of popped popcorn. This is somewhat of a top secret thing in the store - and once you know about it you'll find that often it's sold out. But when you find it - BUY IT! It is like movie popcorn minus the greasy butter that goes straight to your veins. Yes - even you youngsters beware! But I have to give this store 4 stars because of its lack of cleanliness. Employees don't seem to notice items on the floor. I have watched on numerous occasions an employee actually STEP OVER merchandise as they walk through the store. Hey America's younger employees - THIS IS YOUR JOB. No matter how often you have to bend over & pick something up - DO IT. You are getting paid to maintain a clean store. Customer service at this location isn't all that great, either. Last time I went in, the girl who rung me up just glared at me and didn't say a word. This place is the reason I will NEVER pay full price (or more than a $1) for a gift bag. Over the Christmas season, I bought several really cute and nice gift bags that looked like something I had picked up at a Hallmark. I was impressed with the quality and design. Other than that, this is the place for items like dish soap, sponges, cloths, scotch tape (random!), balloons, and things of that sort. I go to this store weekly for items l need and usually end up buying things l don't really need. During the great toilet paper shortage of 2020 they were fully stocked! I love this store, l shop here even though one has opened closer. The Manager Leo is Great , very friendly and helpful. The staff is always friendly and helpful as well.
