The girl with short green hair is unbelievably rude and weird I didn't even end up purchasing the items due to AWFUL customer service.

JCPenney - Cookware dept, second floor, JCP!

I was in need of new cookware, as my olld Caphalon frying pans needed to be replaced. Today I was able to buy an 8 inch, 10 inch, 12 inch frying pan with a lid, all for $115 (Green Pan)!! I was also looking for comfortable walking shoes that were somewhat water resistant and found a pair of lined Skechers slip-on shoes that were snug but not tight, very cozy, black, on clearance for $40. Perfect. Both of the staff at the checkout lanes in their respective departments were helpful and friendly. I think I even saw a manager on the floor, who bid me a good day, which was a nice touch. I kind of like the fact that the checkout counters are more centralized, one on each floor now, though it took getting used to. JCP feels more inviting, spacious, bright, and organized. Highly recommend!!

I can see why dept stores like this are going under, the employees DO NOT care. I usually order on…read morethe JCP app and pick up in store, today I decided to go get some items as they were in stock. I found the items I wanted and at checkout no one knew what was going on. The "new guy" in the children's dept next to the linen was clueless. I asked him for the price of some jeans I picked, I told him that the JCP app had them lower. He said "well that's the app" and shrugged his shoulder like "oh well." He said it's more online as I'll have to pay shipping, Amazon has the same items, same price and the shipping is free. He shrugged his shoulders again like "oh well" He didn't offer to check he was content with saying this is it take it or leave it. I had to keep asking about price matching their own app before he even bothered to ask. I asked if they price matched their own app and he didn't know. He called tish and she didn't know. I told them it wouldn't make sense not to as I could order on the app and pick up in store. Tish replied rudely that it wouldn't be ready today. I know that. Then I said something else and she replied snotty "well we haven't given you an answer yet" to if they price match or not since they had asked someone on the radio to help. The type of interactions is why this place is dead. Employees like this are scaring customers away. I will not spend my money at a place that treats me like this. Remember, we don't have to shop here, there are countless other options. I told a supervisor of my experience and she said she'd speak to them to teach them that they do match their own online prices. I doubt she will. The craziest part is both of the employees didn't even give a crap if they lost a customer. They spent their interaction trying to rebuttal what I was saying instead of just helping me and it just made me leave. I sat in the parking lot after and ordered the same items on Amazon.

The store was clean, organized, and actually easy to shop in, which is rare for Ross. The aisles weren't chaotic, the selection was solid, and it didn't have that overwhelming feeling you get at some other stores. Prices were great as always, and I found everything I needed without having to dig through piles of random items. I would absolutely come back based on the inside experience alone. The one thing that really threw me off was the checkout process. The cashier kept calling the next person in line even though the customer being helped hadn't fully cleared the area yet. You end up squeezing past someone who is still waiting on their receipt, and it creates this weird, awkward moment where nobody knows where to stand. It felt rushed and uncomfortable, and it's something they really need to fix because it makes the ending of the visit feel messy. The parking lot also gets a little sketch after sunset since the lighting isn't great, so I definitely prefer coming during the daytime. Overall, the store itself is good and I would shop here again, but the checkout flow and the nighttime parking vibe definitely need attention.

The aisles were absolutely stocked like, everything you could want, from the pharmacy to the Walmart food section, pretzels, Subway sandwiches, and a lottery vending machine. Plus, the home improvement section was huge, and the garden area was bustling with life. I actually liked this Walmart more than some others in the area especially the one in Baldwin Park or West Covina because it was so well-stocked and, dare I say, a bit cleaner. I gave it 4 stars because overall, the experience was great though, I do wish that their paper shopping bags had handles, because, come on, it's a bit of a struggle lugging them to the car. And while I was happy they accept tap payments, no Apple Pay so, you know, a little behind the times. Still, the cashier was super nice, and I grabbed everything I needed. Bonus shoutout to their greeting card section so many options, and it was beautifully stocked!

I pressed the service button (which I'm pretty sure it does not even work or gets ignored) a couple employees passed by. No acknowledgement at all. I finally asked an employee passing by. Apparently she didn't have the number to the lady that handles the desk. I know all Walmart are know for their horrible service. Some at least try. This one is just trash.
