There was an Asian couple not to far from us that were asked if they needed help or had questions. I finally flagged an employee down after 3 passed us by without even a smile. The employee was a short young lady with glasses, did not smile at us just proceeded to open the products I asked her to open. I liked the item and decided to take it. An employee returned from break and the same young lady that helped us smiled and greeted her as she returned from her break. But for us not a smile. The young man that checked us out at the register again no smile. My girlfriend made a small comment and we laughed thinking maybe he would crack a smile but no. It seemed very unusual to not be helped nor have friendly service as I frequently visit the Lovers stores. This was my first time at the Brea location as my girlfriend and I had dined out for galentines. This visit really put me out of the mood to purchase anything more from the store. I would strongly suggest to have all the employees have a lesson in customer service since customer service is to serve customers. I'm not saying you have to follow me around and hold my hand but a welcoming smile is nice and asking every customer if they need help or have questions is mandatory in my eyes as a customer especially that I did have questions. The value of the product was a great deal so I am happy with my purchase just not my experience at this location.

I had recently come from a neighboring store that told me I was too big to try on some thing so it was a nice change of pace to be allowed to try on the thing I wanted and to have people be inviting and warm. Their POS does not accept Apple Pay so be prepared with your card they do allow you to Zelle the owner but that will take some time so keep that in mind if you are in a hurry. The store may be smaller but there is a bunch of cute things I would highly recommend for anyone looking for a stripper boots, a faja, or cute little outfits. They also have a little room in the back that you might miss that has toys so don't forget to check that out as well. Would highly recommend supporting this small business!

Back to Cinderella's Closet - I arrived a bit early and I was greeted at the front door with a smiling welcome by Dana (?) and she knew my name as she opened the door. It had been almost 2.5 years since my last breast prosthetic replacement. My body had changed and I felt like I needed a smaller sized prosthetic. Sandra, was the fitter who help me. Sandra has 29+ years of experience with fitting bras on woman (remember the Wizard of Bras in Monrovia? She worked there for many years). Her experience and ability to listen found me a perfect fit - not what I thought I needed but she found me something even better! I am very happy with the results. The fitting room is calm and serene and I was completely comfortable during the entire time with Sandra. The store is lucky to have her. Thank you Sandra. If you're tired of rudeness, the cross-sell of related products, or had a bad experience in another store - you need to come here to be treated with respect, kindness and compassion.
