Both stores have great selections, but focusing on this one.. you'll find a wide variety of shoes, solid clothing options in different materials for different professions, and plenty of cool accessories like flashlights, knives, and even t-shirts you can wear outside of work. The shop itself is very clean and well kept. The only downside is the employees can be hit or miss. Sometimes you'll get someone super helpful, and other times you might catch a bit of attitude depending on the day. Overall though, if you're looking for a one-stop shop to grab everything you need for work or if you're just into knives and gear; this is the place to check out.

I went elsewhere to find the variety of fits in the colors needed and better pricing as well. I do not think it's worth buying the wrong fit in a bigger size for the price they are asking. I'd rather get the right size, right fit to be comfortable for 9+ hrs a day when you're spending $40 + on each piece.

To those of you whom never set foot at a 5.11 store or don't know what it means, allow me to give…read moreyou some insight. The term 5.11 originated from the climbing/mountain world to indicate the highest rock climbing difficulty level. However, now there are even higher levels, 5.12, up to 5.14. This store has equipment, apparel and gear for the serious outdoors/adventure- rough-tuff, serious-bad ass person. Their products are primarily targeted for military personnel, law enforcement, first responders, firefighters or serious outdoor survivalists. I have purchased several items from 5.11 since its early inception due to my long years of service in the USMC from 1998 to 2007. Many of the gear I have from 5.11 have endured the test of time, combat and rough terrain. Today, I still purchased their products since they also have a wide choice of urban, city wear with unique and versatile use.

What are you looking for?" No welcome, no courtesy, no basic customer service. I believe the person was the owner, an older bald gentleman. Nothing displayed, no options to browse, and absolutely no effort to help. It's honestly impressive how quickly a business can lose a potential customer. People walk into stores because they want to spend their money not because they're asking for a favor. If you're going to run a retail business, basic respect and customer service should be a given.
