I then picked out the print I wanted on them and he asked me what size print... I was shown 2 sizes and was never told it was extra money.... so I was there patiently waiting for an hour after being told it took about 15 minutes.... first sweatshirt came out nice the other 3 not so much... it's Christmas time so I said it's ok... so then he adds up my order and I was told $232.60.... my jaw dropped!!!! I was not impressed at all and felt like I was put on the spot and taken advantage of!!! What I thought would cost me $160 now was 232.60.... I will not ever recommend this company and I was told no refunds or returns... so now I have 4 shirts 3 that look like shit and I actually paid 58 dollars a piece for when the sweatshirt it's self probably cost 10 bucks..... it totally ruined my day at the mall and left me broke to drive back home with horrible presents I was so excited to gift. I was looking for a place that does customized photo slate printing. That is where you can print a photo on a piece of stone. I searched and searched everywhere for a local business that provided this specific service but my searched only led me to online ordering. Which would take over a week to receive- with very costly shipping. I finally did a Yelp search for personalized photo gifts and it gave me a few locations, but after calling the first two businesses, they did not provide what I was looking for. I almost gave up altogether, but I made one last call to Gifts World Plus and to my surprise, they had exactly what I was looking for! It is local, super fast and with a price that can not be beat. The customer service is 5 star and if I could give them more stars I would! Teresa was more than helpful and so pleasant to work with. They really do an amazing job of creating a gorgeous heartfelt memento for any occasion. I absolutely recommend this place! I've not yet had Hirt do a big job for me (*yet*) but he has done a couple quotes for my company and make some samples for a client, which were top-notch. He uses very high-quality materials, and knows his stuff, and it shows. Its very convenient to have a full-service business to business type place like this right in Covina, so I don't have to drive to DTLA or South El Monte or some other Gawd-forsaken place. His prices are fair too. I'm deducting one star because, yes, he can get busy and sometimes there's no one knowledgeable manning the front office, which can be a little frustrating if you stop by.
