5 stars for stellar turn-around time, service, and quality! I was in the San Dimas area and was looking to get a white coat embroidered with my name, but I needed it within a week. I called a nearby competitor and I was quoted a 2-week turnaround time and $25 purchase minimum, an offer which I promptly declined (thanks, but no thanks...) When I called Funky Monkey, they promised me they could get it done within the week. Plot twist: they actually got the job done within 24 hours! AND I paid less than $15 total. So clutch. Funky Monkey deserves their 5-star Yelp average! If in the future I happen to be in the area with another potential embroidering job, I'd come back without hesitation. read more

Meant to write a review earlier but kept on forgetting (sorry). But this place is great. I've had a blue Dodger jersey I've had for years. My all time Dodger is Mike Scioscia, I've always wanted to get 14 (Scioscia) on the back of the jersey. They did and did an amazing job, the name and numbering are sewn on. Customer service was great and friendly. When I picked up my jersey I was like a kid in Christmas. read more

I spoke with Sam and not only was she incredibly helpful and kind, she rushed the work I needed and my stole came out perfect and on time. I am so grateful for her work and kindness - especially during such a stressful time. I highly recommend Funky Monkey! Thank you, Sam. You're awesome!!! read more

Awesome people got me a quality hoodie the very next day I put my order in the hoodies might run a bit smaller with this in mind would probably order a size larger. I'm a true large their Hanes eco brand hoodie although being a large fit me like a medium. Again awesome work in a very timely manner would definitely order from them again. read more

Took over a month to have a name on a vest completed. Dropped off the item on 11/7/22 and it was not ready until 12/19/22. Came into the store twice and couldn't locate my item. Will not return. read more

Picked up daughter's letter jacket and she puts it on and the zipper to the inside lining is very visible whether the jacket is mostly buttoned up or worn open. The jacket was very costly and I am very displeased with the design..because I didn't go with her to the fitting the company said there is nothing they could or would do.. read more

I had them sow some patches on a vest. They did a good job. Happy with their services. I will continue to use them.

I was in desperate need of getting the best-embroidered shirts for a very important project of mine. I searched and everything was closed due to COVID. I whipped out the Yelp App and came across 'Funky Monkey'! I loved the name of the company so I called them. They were open, very professional and I had an appointment later that day. This was a rush job and extremely important to get this done with the highest level of quality. The team at Funky Monkey exceeded my expectations!! My job was done the next day and the embroidery that was completed was just plain 'AWESOME' The colors popped, the quality was perfect! You could not have asked for a better job. You also could not have asked for more professionalism than what I got from Marissa. She was fantastic! She and the team pulled off a miracle for me and I highly recommend this company for this form of artwork! read more

I have used this place for years, (before funky monkey) when it was only P&J to have our company name put on our shirts. They do a good job and put out quality products. I am sure we will use them for years to come, and receive the same quality as we always have gotten. Thanks 'guys'. Sincerely, Patti Stone Action Lock & Safe read more

Awesome and helpful! They walk through the entire process, providing a lot of options, and demonstrated quality!

If you're looking for a varsity letterman's jacket this is the place to go. Their prices are fair. Everyone understands your needs and will try to accommodate them. They also will update the jacket with new patches and new awards. You don't have to buy your jacket here for them to sew on your items. read more

I 100 percent recommend them. They are professional and patient at what they do. I like how they took there time at walking us through the whole process. Funky monkey is the place to go. read more

Every person that I've ever dealt with has been very friendly and professional... not to mention, the work has been impeccable. Bought 3 of my 4 kids letterman's jackets here along with many visits throughout the years to have patches and embroidery added. Most recently, I had our employees names embroidered onto stockings for the holiday and they came out adorable (see pic attached). Their "can do" attitude was much appreciated on such short notice for this project. One last shout out, my daughters HS spiritline is extremely appreciative for all of the support and/or donations they have given these past few years. Thank you Funky Monkey!!! read more

John and team are the best thank you. KNAC still rocks!

Rebecca was a lifesaver! I was in a jam and had a tight deadline to get patches ordered for an awards banquet. She went above and beyond to help get the patches designed, ordered and delivered in record time. Quality materials and quality service. Highly recommend! read more

I was a customer here and printed many shirts (like every week). Until one of the owners (John) decided not to print shirts for me anymore. He printed my graphic CROOKED on the shirt (NOT ONCE but TWICE) then wanted me to still pay for the shirt and his excuse was, "It's an Internet Graphic." Funny how the second shirt (from the same order) was also an "Internet Graphic" and printed straight and just fine. Truth of the matter is, he printed the graphic crooked and this was not the first time (as I have already stated) then did not take responsibility for his sloppy work. Not sure if he gets too busy at times then just rushes orders. Whatever the case may be, if you mess up then you mess up. Don't blame the customer for YOUR WORK being unsatisfactory. I give this place the second star for fixing the EMBROIDERY on my jersey. The work on this was good. Overall I don't recommend this place because if the work does turn out unsatisfactory, chances are they'll blame you. read more

To be clear, if it wasn't for their work product, this would be a solid 1 star. To be fair, when they do finally get around to your order (if at all), there are no complaints (we've had two kids' worth of letterman's jackets, among several other projects, so have a long and varied experience with the company). Unfortunately unless you're not dictated by time or have a deadline, you will be sorely disappointed. I can fully understand providing an "estimated" date, but when that date is off by not only days but weeks, therein lies the problem. Will be looking for a competitor from now on. read more

This place is pretty awesome. I had a design I wanted to put on a bomber jacket and I had no idea how to sew. They were able to put it on my jacket and it looks amazing. read more

I took something in to get embroidered, what I thought was going to be simple and easy, took two months to get back to me. Apparently they also messed up on what I brought in and NEVER notified me. I was in desperate need of an embroidered graduation stole and I came across this place on a whim. I wasn't expecting much at first but I was pleasantly surprised with my finished project. I paid a rush fee and they were able to get my stole done in 3 days time. Although it was a rushed order, the embroidery was beautifully done and well crafted. The staff was also super helpful and kind. She gave the best advice from picking the best thread colors and fonts for my item. Very pleasant experience and outcome. Amazing shop! My son went in for his Letterman's jacket. He's a freshman and was a little lost at what he wanted. Not only did they create an amazing jacket, but they helped him step by step to create an everlasting piece of high school that he will cherish forever. The jacket is AMAZING!! So I went back for custom hats for our business. Again, amazing work. Great prices and we have had tons of compliments on them. So I went back again and had a blanket embroidered. Amazing job, great price! I'm dropping off my dogs stockings tomorrow to get done. They are a one stop shop that does it all! My favorite "personalized" shop! Thank you Funky Monkey! read more

Great job! Had a hat and t shirt done. Took a couple weeks but turned out great. Thanks guys!

This place is AWESOME!! They truly know the meaning of customer service, and go above and beyond to please the customer. I had ordered a jacket for my niece and found out a week later that the school said she couldn't have the color of her sleeves black. But since no information was given by the school we were not aware of the strict rules. But when I called Rev Varsity/Funky Monkey Designs, a week later, and asked if there was any way to change they said they could fix it, and at no extra fee. It's hard nowadays to find a company that's goes outta their way to make the customer happy!! But they have done it for me. I will coming come back to this store for any and all my other nieces and nephews letterman's jacket needs!!!! Thank you again Rev Varsity/Funky Monkey Designs, your team is really great. Keep up the fantastic work! read more

This is a long overdue review, but better late than never. This guy over here knows what he is talking about and has the work to show for it. He's willing to show you some shirt samples before you commit to any job. I had some DTP works done at other places and I wasn't too happy with the quality and colors, which had no pop. His printing for DTP was by far superior in eyes comparing from other works by other shops. The heat press examples I saw looked pretty good as well. Thus guy is willing to work with you, with whatever job you need. Recommended. read more
