I bought a pair of Danner boots from this store. They offer a boot shining service so I left my boots there and came back the next day and picked them up. I wore them once and the left heel started to make a clicking noise and I could feel something moving in the boot. I called Pristene and told them about it and to bring them back in. I called on the day I was coming in and spoke with Carly. She informed me that they did not have my size. Carly called the Riverside store and had them set a pair aside for me to exchange. I couldn't make it to the Riverside store that day before they closed so I set up to go today. Upon arrival they had 2 pairs of boots set aside. They called the Rancho Cucamonga store and I was informed that the owner said he was not taking the boots back because they were shined. ( A service that they offer ) I asked for the owner to call me but he has not. The girls that work at the store are nice but I refuse to do business with a company that does not stand behind a product that they sell. read more

My husband went here to order items. The girls were amazing and super friendly. They knew what they were doing, making sure the items fit perfectly to your body. They took the time to size you and tailor your clothes. They work fast and make you feel comfortable. I even had the opportunity to see how they handle a customer the was very upset about the daughter order. The employees remained calm and understanding to the customer even after all that, the customer still raised their voice and yelled at them, the employees kept there cool. The girls working here have no idea what they are doing. Also the system in place for orders and pick ups could use some major improvement. I literally had to come down multiple times due to them not having the complete order and I had to tell them what I was still missing and they will kind of argue/ question me on my order. Saying things like oh you picked up that the last time. Which I had to remind them if I did I wouldn't be here again! Train you staff better and have a better pick up system and make sure that your customers complete order is here and together so they don't have to keep coming back! Absolutely terrible customer service. I recently purchased 2 class B uniforms from this store. They didn't carry what I needed so they ordered it and after about a week I went in to try them on so they could be altered. They quoted me one business day turnaround on the alterations but when I called the next day they said it would be another day. Oh well, no big deal, but that meant I had to send my wife to pick them up so I wasn't able to try them on. To my relief when I got a chance to try them on the alterations were done correctly. Unfortunately when I got to work the next day and wore the pants for the first time there was a defect in the material on the right leg. It looked like a small ball of material sewn into the thigh. If I cut it off a hole would open up after the first wash guaranteed. Not being the stores fault and the fact that I only wore them for one shift I figured there would be no problem exchanging them for a new pair. When my wife took them to the store the manager said that they would not exchange them because they showed signs of wear. After 1 shift?! That's ridiculous, the pants were still stiff like new uniform pants are. I purposely didn't wash them so they didn't fade or lookI'm sure they could send them back to the manufacture. But she refused and said they would only give me a 15 percent discount on my next pair. If you decide to shop there make sure you go over your purchases with a fine tooth comb. They apparently don't do returns. read more

These people go out of their way to help you. They are very knowledgeable and go the extra mile to accommodate your needs. They are so ftiendly and remember their customers. Ended up needing a new uniform shirt immediately but their wait was 2 weeks. So they did guild us to another competitor who could possibly be of help. Do not spend your money here. I had multiple issues at this store. I am only going to mention one. They say a picture is worth 1,000 words right? Well here are 3 pictures. They will destroy your uniforms and they will not take ownership of their mistakes. Instead you will get excuses and they will blame anything and anyone else besides themselves. Hopefully the new ownership will do better. We spend way too much money on uniforms to have these type of mistakes. They will not try to fix the problem. They will not try to refund you. Instead they will tell you to buy a full new set. Go anywhere else but this store. My recommendation... Galls in Riverside. Buy pants from them and guess what! The hem is free. I've been in L.E. almost 30 years and have been to a few uniform shops. This store has AWFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE. First time I went in there (2 months ago) I was straight up ignored with only one other customer in the place. I left... 2 weeks ago I tried again since I needed 2 shirts and didn't want to drive to Bellflower (my usual shop). I ordered 2 shirts, was fitted and paid. I forgot to order zippers and (yes, it was my error) but when I called to correct problem, there were so many fees and longer wait times and the tone of the conversation was more like "It's your fault Sir" Well... I agree... I chose the wrong shop because Goodies in Bellflower has NEVER given me a problem in all these decades. I LEARNED MY LESSON, it's worth the drive. read more

I appreciate her calling and offering to give me a complete refund, doing whatever she could to rectify the situation. Mistakes happen, but how they're handled is what's telling. Lizet and her husband Ray seem to be of high character, to which I'm sure will be passed down to their employees. We should all be willing to show grace. I left my uniforms here over two weeks ago, with a 1.5 week turn around. I receive I call that the seamstress will not work on them due to the fact they are dirty. I kindly inform them that my uniforms are 8 years old (hey I'm cheap and don't like to grow out of $100 items), and they've been through the ringer, but I promise they're clean. The person I spoke to seems to understand, until 10 mins later I receive another call telling me the seamstress said no. So I go in to pick up my uniforms which they've had too long and now are not fixed. When I arrived I asked what the problem was, and was shown the neck on my collar (I attached a photo to their photo section), and told it was the makeup. I informed them that I don't wear makeup to work and that is just Class A wear and tear of years, and they had been dry cleaned. I was informed there was nothing they could do, unless I could speak Spanish and talk to the seamstresses myself. It's been a hot second since I've been in south LA to keep up my Spanglish, asked for a refund, and left! I would HIGHLY suggest you take your LEO uniforms somewhere else, along with you business, as I will and will inform everyone I work with! I apologize for my old worn, battered, and beaten 8 year old uniforms. They have seen a lot of crap over the years and they show their age. The store forgot to order one of my short sleeved shirts twice, never called me for completion and took over 2 months to complete the uniforms. I attempted to get a refund on the short sleeve shirt and pants but was refused for the pants because they were altered. Store manager say it was not their fault. Extremely disappointed, first off my key clip had just broken off and I didn't want to lose my patrol car keys. I work in the city so I decided to swing by and purchase one. They didn't have the one I had in stock, so I purchased a different one. I waked out and to my luck it did not fit my belt size. I drove back and attempted to switch it for one that fits. I got screwed by Pristine and the owner could not care any less. They had my shirt for 2 1/2 weeks to see on hash marks and was told they would be done in a week. They never got to it and didn't bother to tell me. I took it to another tailor that day because I needed for the next day and they had it done in 5 minutes! Don't go here. They have decided to cater to the academy. They don't care about their loyal customers anymore even though we've been coming there for years! This is the worst uniform store I've ever dealt with. First I was told that my uniform would be ready in a week, so I gave them 8 days to complete my uniform shirt. Then I received a call that my uniform shirt is ready, so I show up and my name tape is not placed on the shirt and they didn't even have my name tapes ready at all. I purchased some long sleeve uniform shirts for my department and had them tailored at the same time I purchased them at the begging of January. I was told there was atleast 2-3 week on delivery to pick them up. Also on the shirts I had zippers installed as well on the Class A shirts. After about two weeks I called only to be told that my CDCR patches were on back ordered and that if I wanted to I can go pay for some at LAPG to speed up the process. You would think that Pristine would have sent a employee to go purchase the patches instead of asking to go pick them up. So now my wife picks theses shirts up right after the Super Bowl cause my work schedule didn't allow me to pick them up. Now about a few weeks later I go to try them on only to find that they weren't properly fitted and that one shirt the zipper didn't work. So yesterday I go to drop them off to fix them and mind you one shirt is still brand new hasn't been worn and the other had been worn about three times. After retrying them on and getting them pinned for adjustments, zipper fixed and re-sew one button that was already falling off I was informed I had to repay for all the fixes. Remind you one shirt hasn't even been worn cause of the zipper issue. So the staff tell me that they have to speak to the owner to authorize the fixes free of charge. Well this morning I receive a call from the girl that helped me informing me that the owner said no to the fixes and that I had to pay for them to be fixed again. Now this has been my Uniform shop since they opened. The service on this experience has been a inconvenience and the customer service has been horrible. The hundreds and thousands I have spent there between my wife and I is crazy. Looks like LAPG will get my business now. Anyways half the time pristine is always backed up on tailoring and pick up time frames. I ask that if any of my brothers or sisters have had a bad experience to post her as well read more

This place is decent. I had a slightly better experience here than I did at Galls in Riverside. I wasn't greeted when I walked in and staff kept walking by me without saying anything. Finally, someone asks if I'd been helped, and she helped me find what I needed. I try on the uniform I need and get fitted. The young woman who pinned and hemmed my uniform took her time and was very precise, which I appreciated. When I go to check out, my total came out to $70something for one uniform, plus hemming and my patches. Then I ask if that came with the badge holder, which she forgot to add it to my original transaction, and she forgot to charge me for alterations. My second transaction came out to an addition $20something. I payed close to $100 for one uniform shirt, one pair of uniform pants, patches, hemming, and alterations. Make sure you know everything your uniform requires. I didn't know anything about a badge holder until I was aware, a couple weeks after I got offered the job, I'd be wearing a badge. Ask your agency/employer what you need, so you don't get an incomplete uniform when you go to pick it up. read more
