If I can give them 0 I would so I just give them 1 for their Customer service is really bad they don't care if you had ankle injury with brace on my ankle they won't give assistance. I was going to buy a full cart when I ask for help they don't get anyone to assist me they said just get my car & park it outside next to the curb I told them the curb has red paint I don't want to get a parking ticket they said it's their policy to not let they associate to help even you had an ankle injury so I ask to speak with a manager she said she's on their lunch, I even call the security he said the same way, so I only buy 8 items instead of buying the full cart, I guess I saved money and their loss it's crazy the cart had metal pole bar I guess they don't anyone to steel them but their customer service suck!!!! The store is clean and organized, something that I appreciate. I'd give it a 5 star rating, but... there was an employee who was straight up lazy and unpleasant when I let her know that I forgot my wallet and asked if it was ok to leave my things on hold while I returned to pay. She literally rolled her eyes, huffed, puffed, and was very annoyed b/c I was purchasing a lot of things (which she fails to realize that my large purchase helps towards her paycheck. I digress). She didn't ask for my name, so asked if they needed my name, but she said no b/c she'd remember my face. Upon returning to the store within the hour I'd informed her I'd be returning, she looked at me and kept walking trying to avoid me. The other (very pleasant) employees greeted me and I told them I was back b/c I had left things on hold. The annoyed girl all of a sudden remembered me and told her coworker that my basket was right behind her and she had to scan allllll of my stuuuufff. Scanning things must be very hard work for her. Luckily, however, the store also has great employees like Winter!!! :) She was very friendly and performed her job like a champ! The male employee who is Loss Prevention (I didn't catch his name) was also very friendly and even helped me carry my purchases out to my vehicle. Someone give these two a raise!!! read more

Warm greeting upon entering, working baskets in 2 sizes available. Sparse selection of shoes but they were neatly placed. Not a lot of mature clothing available. I was looking for long dresses with pockets for summer, the dresses they had were not it. The store was clean and well lit. The employees gave good customer service. read more

I've never heard of DD"s discounts, I'm glad I found this gem. It's a great discount store with so much selection. They always carry great work out equipment for low prices. A great place to find a baby gift on a budget. Awesome selection of toys for the kids. & if you're looking to upgrade some of your supplies in your kitchen or spruce up your home decor they have such a nice selection. & are always getting new shipments. I would definitely recommend coming to the DD"s in chino for any of your home/self needs. read more

Worst customer service! My husband was trying on shoes and they had an alarm attached to the and it accidentally went off. My sister took them to the cashier and the security guy so the can turn off the alarm and he was so mean and rude to her! He had a really bad attitude. One star so I can post. DO NOT SHOP at DD's discount store. Whether you pay with a credit card or a debit card cash or check and when you want to return an item they will give you store credit they will not return the funds used when you purchased the item which is ridiculous. The cashier should tell people before they purchase an item that if they plan to return it they only get store credit doesn't matter how they paid for it. Make you really want the item when you buy here to returns can be made, just store credit good way to keeping your money in the company. I bough a watch and didn't realize it was defective and didn't work I returned it with in two days. Allegedly "store manager " male heavy set named Anthony and "cashier" female Irene we're not Custumer 1st practice at all. You would think they would at least apologize for the inconvenience but no "manager" just said nope no cash back and turned away. I asked cashier Irene for both their names and she kinda gave me the look that she didn't want to give the names I respectfully informed her the reason being is because I will be calling corporate .I think they need to get more competent managers to handle situations like this one better. Seams like anyone can be a manager at DDs even if you have no common sense to solving situations with customer satisfaction. I will definitely de calling corporate. read more

Oh my gosh!!! If I could give them negative stars I would. I just had the most horrible experience here. They have great deals, but they are not worth it when the service sucks. I went in to their dressing room and once done trying on clothes, I gave the attendant the clothes I didn't want and she proceeded to call me back to check the items I did want. But when I walked away she accused me of snatching them, and I'm still dumbfounded as to how that could be possible when the items never left my hand. She also proceeded to tell her store manager that I snatched the items... at this point not only do I feel accused, but I also feel attacked. I then turn around and ask if there's a problem and the manager states "she's, just following procedures". I assured them I would be calling their corporate office the dressing room attendant said "you go ahead"... which I did and still waiting to hear from them. Don't waste your time or money! read more

Just stopped by last week to purchase a pair of work out pants and walked out feeling upset. I had grabbed two pairs one $7.99 and the other had no tag. I really liked the pair with no tag and even tried looking for another similar one even in different sizes just for the tag. Once I got to the register, after waiting in a long line, I explained one didn't have a tag. The cashier said "I'll just charge you the $7.99 price!" I said asked nicely if there was a way she can just double check the price in case they were cheaper, and her response while grabbing the pants roughly was "No! It wouldn't be cheaper!" She scanned the $7.99 tag and threw the pants in the bag. I liked them enough to buy them regardless of the price but it was more so the principal not the cost. Mind you there were tons of pairs that were $5.99 too. Although it may seem like something small, I can't seem to forget about it which is why I had to yelp. It is lack of customer service that will have me thinking twice about going to that location. read more

I've never shopped here before. I went to Ross, Burlington, Target in the same shopping center. These stores are far more better than Ghetto DD's... As soon as I walked in the door the male employee at the register shouted... Do you have a return or exchange? I said "no I bought this next door from Ross." My bag said Ross on it. He said he needed to keep my bag while I shopped. None of the other stores did that. I'm practically being accused of stealing before I even looked at their over priced junk. It is against the law to illegally search and seizure me. What's mine is mine. Legally a sign must be posted outside of the store that custmers read before entering and being humiliated. "All bags subject to search." That way customers can decide to comply or not or put their belongings in their car before having to talk to a Cylon. I simply put my tiny Ross bag in my purse. "Is he going to go through my purse? NOT!" He could say nothing. They didn't have any jewerly trees anyway. TARGET did though and I didn't have to have some stranger check me and search me illegally to purchase it. It's a dump. When I want to go slumming? I'll stick with other discount dept stores. Shopping here is very hit or miss. A bad day will make you feel like you are dumpster diving. You have to search to find something quality but the price will be good if you do find it. Customer service is horrible & the store is a mess. I dropped my wallet when getting my card out to pay today & my business cards flew everywhere. The female cashier just blinked & had absolutely no empathy (must be a Cylon). There was only one woman behind me in line & she didn't separate my merchandise from hers after ringing her up. It didn't take me long to help myself get my things together but that kind of indifference is pretty bad. Other staff was standing there doing nothing also. You could tell that none of them wanted to be there. I won't be back again. I should have just gone to Target. Luckily I had hand sanitizer after touching the disgusting floor. read more

Bought three of the same item (different brands) to see which would work out, I made sure to ask customer service if I'd be able to return them for store credit and they assured me that I would when as long as I brought the receipt. The next day I brought them back to return them, and was told that I could not because I had detached the tags. I detached the tags because I didn't want them to get messed up while I attempted to get the items on (these were items that are difficult to get on). They said that because the tags were no longer attached (even though I had the tags with me and even though they did not tell me that was a requirement when I inquired the first time) that I would not be able to return the items. Not only did they go back on their word, but they did not apologize at all for their miscommunication. I understand that people probably go in and try to rip them off all the time, but as someone who has worked years in customer service and has a human services degree the LEAST you can do as manager is apologize for the discrepancy. Also, I called corporate to complain and when they called the rude manager Jasmine, she told them that I cussed her out. Which is an incredible hyperbole. When the cashier refused to refund me and refused to show the slightest concern I commented that it was "bullshit" but I did NOT cuss her out or say anything bad about either of them when I was there. Will not be returning to this location, even though it's one of my favorite places to shop. The customer service was awful and they treated me like I was crazy or trying to rip them off. read more
