I felt very pressured to buy something because she was so pushy. I immediately regretted buying my items and I went back to return them the next day only to be told they don't do returns. They only do exchanges. This was not clear and should have been told while checking out. Also not disclosed, is that a lot of items are dry clean only. Buyer beware! read more

Wonderful store with an even more wonderful message. When I wandered in here last week with my best friend we chatted with Ray for a few minutes. I mentioned something about being a teacher and Ray jumped into action. He went to the back of the store and filled up a bag with school supplies. He then gave me a pencil and paper and told me to write down ANYTHING my students need! He bought my kids pencils, markers, crayons, sheet protectors, erasers, paper, and cleaning supplies. This past year of COVID has been incredibly difficult as a teacher as we've seen budget cuts and constantly changing regulations. Getting the kids prepared to come back to school hybrid has been expensive, but now I can rest easy that we have enough school supplies to last the rest of the year! I have been in this store a few times, always love the styles and clothes they bring in. Walked in last weekend with a few friends and first of all, I bought the cutest and comfiest pair of jeans, picked out by Ray! When my friends were checking out, they saw the poster about the store mission. My friends mentioned to Ray that I was a teacher, he took my number down and messaged me a couple hours later to come back by the shop. He had 2 bags full of items for my classroom and a card with a donation for printer ink. As many schools and teachers know, we have had budget cuts and title I licenses suspended or taken in this past year with Covid and school closures. I definitely didn't feel deserving of this gift, as there are many many other teachers and people out there in need of their giving but Ray insisted. I like the design and the lay out of the shop. It's beautiful! The clothes are nice and unique. I read someone review saying that they were bought online and resale. I think all retail has to buy theirs from somewhere, but what to buy to resale is a different story. They have really pretty, nice, unique clothing that give you the luxury look. Anyways, I'm a frequent shopper here and I am not only inspired by their mission to give back to the community, but also by Alma (not sure if I her her name correct), but she is the Ray's, the owner's girlfriend who battled cancer. She shared her story and took time to have a conversation with me and made me feel so welcomed. They are very personable and every time I go into the store their employees greet me and ask if I need help with anything. I've stopped in right before a first date because I was not happy with my outfit choice and they have helped me pick out a beautiful outfit in a pinch and have many unique/quality pieces in their store. They're prices match the quality, so do not go here if you're on a budget..although they do have great discounts they offer on some of their merchandise. I am happy to give this cute little boutique another 5 star review! Its is carefully and beautifully curated and the buyer has a good eye. Compared to Nectar and the other shop down the street next to the frozen yogurt place, I liked almost every piece here and felt that they were unique. The pricing is really fair for the styles they offer, and clearly marked above the items. They also had some accessories and also gym/exercise wear which I thought was very cool. I chatted with Ray (the owner), who is a local Pomona resident, and he explained that 10% of all proceeds support local people in need through various non-profits. I just googled their mission and here it is: "We Spread Faith Hope Inspiration by contributing 10% to worthy causes and people in need." I even met Ray's parents who were visiting and stopped by the store. SO COOL! I am so stoked to have another local resident open up shop in Claremont, and will happily patronize this store for gifts and clothing for myself. This place is extremely overpriced and has very little selection. It seems like everything in there just feels "off," like they're trying to create a trendy boutique but are not hitting the nail on the head. I've come in here several times and there usually aren't any other customers shopping, so the workers will just follow you around. It's slightly uncomfortable. Love this new clothing store in the packing house. It's right beside Z pizza and a few stores up from Eureka burger. I like the concept too where they donate a percentage of sales to worthy causes. Mostly women's clothing and super cute. They have the flowy bohemian styles clothes that are really in as well as fitted clothing and great items to layer for hot days cool nights.
