(P.s. if that were my account I wouldn't be able to create a new one with the same IP address) If I had a word to say to you I'd say it flat out and that's just what I'm going to do here. I don't hide behind a computer. I don't do long drawn out social media posts, but in your case I'm going to have to. At this point after today even if you decided to believe me I wouldn't ever step foot back in your store because you clearly displayed your true character. You were looking to be right, even when you know you're wrong. That's what we call pride. I have been going in to take cookies, purchase items a couple of times and passing through your store for years and established a great reputation for myself and I not once have had bad words to speak of your business. Just today before even going to your store i told a friend to support your business. Today I was accused of writing a review that I DIDNT write.I began going to your store because it was close by and I wanted to support your business. I struggle with even driving through Claremont so me going back to your store was a huge step for me. The day of the raffle I lined up like everyone else, but I was the least of the ones complaining. Lines and money being spent were to be expected. I could care less if I got the size for the RSVP because the pair of shoes were for a kid I barely knew in my class, so whether or not I got them I could care less. I planned to donate a toy regardless of getting the size because its something I do every year, so getting a raffle ticket was something for the guy in my class. Today I didn't care about some Jordan's, I cared about clearing my name. But for someone to take the time to pretend that I won a raffle to get me in your store in front of your customers to try to humiliate me was very vindictive and unnecessary. If you knew my character,which you clearly don't, you'd know I could care less about Jordan's. I only get the colors that I think are nice and I don't even collect them like that. I don't own a pair of 13's and I don't shop at Shoe Palace. My life isnt consumed with sneakers. I sat and waited patiently and you had several others that you asked to step aside and I overheard them talking about how pissed they were, even before we got in. I told the guy behind me to be patient because you were doing the best you could. That's my character. As i sat there i began to get anxious because i saw an old coworker and had to get out of the area because i couldnt breathe. Once I left I told myself I didn't need those shoes, and began to think they looked like elephants feet, and went on with my day. If I got the RSVP then why would I go through the trouble of sending my cousin to pick up the shoes for me? Why would I even show my face in your store after "writing" such a horrible review? Thats a bold move for anyone. I feel that you singled me out because I'm the only one you decided to remember telling to step aside. You "cutting" me off from your store doesn't hurt me because I won't be able to purchase things from you. It hurts because it was the one safe place in Claremont I could still go to. I honestly wish you guys nothing but the best in all that you do. If you only knew the power that i possesed and the things I could say, but instead I forgive you for that scene you made today because the kind if God that I serve isn't a hating God. Kings to me is what pure streetwear is all about at its core. No bots, no asinine reseller mark-ups, no insane pricetags, no bullshit. Just tried and true streetwear styles from iconic streetwear brands that have withstood the test of time. I'm thankful Kings and others like it still exist (Proper, BAIT, Bowls LA and Union are both kind of). I say kind of because Bowls opens whenever they want and Union definitely has a certain audience in mind with the brands they carry. Anyway, maybe I'm looking back at the history of streetwear with rose-tinted glasses, but there's no denying that the fact that a place like Kings can still thrive despite the fact that a lot of boutiques I used to frequent have either shifted to online exclusively or just shuttered their doors permanently is respectable. The fact that you can still walk into a place like this and get some sick drip without playing bullshit games and waiting for drops or buying bots to cop shit is something I truly appreciate. The staff is cool as always and if anything, their selection has improved over the years and they've definitely stepped up (heh) their shoe game as well. Anyway, my very long drawn out point is that Kings is still king when it comes to finding streetwear locally with an excellent selection. They carry all the brands; new and old. It's like Costco. You definitely aren't walking outta there with just a $5 rotisserie chicken. You're gonna walk outta there with a whole ass wardrobe if you haven't gone shopping in a VERY long time, like me.

However, during my…read moremost recent visit today, I witnessed an interaction between a manager/supervisor and an employee that I found very unprofessional and uncomfortable. While I understand that workplace issues need to be addressed, the employee was repeatedly spoken to in a degrading manner and was ultimately told to "go over there and do your thing." This interaction took place openly in front of coworkers and customers, making it difficult not to hear. In my opinion, this type of feedback should be handled privately and respectfully. Employees deserve to be corrected without being embarrassed or humiliated in front of others. I hope management will take this feedback into consideration, as the interaction significantly affected my otherwise positive impression of the store.

This event took place at the same time at exhibit hall 8. For their first year running, it was very impressive that they took over the entire hall and that they had a pretty good crowd going around. To be honest, I am extremely far removed from this kind of culture, but it was still neat to look around. There's lots of, of course sneakers and shoes, of which I assume are high quality and highly sought after and lots of trendy street fashion style clothes. Lots of vintage and anime collaboration clothing which was really neat. Loved how the vendors would decorate their booths as well. There were some cars at this hall, a place to shoot some hoops, and a trading area for shoes too? Perfect if you're a sneaker collector. I didn't think I'd get anything for free here, but I got a free lighter. Nice, thank you ! I also thought it was super funny, but I immediately got hit by a huge wall of vape juice/weed smell entering here haha. Vibes are on point!

I came to Susa Boutique after discovering a moth hole in my wool suit jacket. Not wanting to spend the money to replace my suit with one of similar quality, I inquired about re-weaving as a means of repairing the hole (a sometimes prohibitively expensive undertaking). The owner, Morgan, is connected with a group that does re-weaving and communicated with me through every step of the process - from the way that the re-weavers would inspect my jacket, to what the re-weaving would cost, to when the jacket would be ready and finally, to alerting me when the work was complete. In total, the whole process only took 3 weeks! Remarkable for complex alterations work that was done off-site. Based on this experience, I would highly recommend Susa Boutique for any alterations - no matter how challenging your request may seem! read more

Because how he handled all this, I was going to just go purchase another pants. What I found at King Fashion was great inventory, along with service and value well beyond my hopes. I had researched and been to a number of stores and found none to come close in service and value. I was helped primarily by Monsef, his daughter, and also Denise. All three demonstrated amazing kindness and friendliness throughout the process. Monsef offered very sound advice about how to approach what I needed, without boxing me in to having to buy everything (or even anything) I needed from this store. He went the extra mile to make sure I got exactly what I wanted with minimal delay when it turned out it wasn't in store. Alterations were done well and quickly. I love the tuxedo I wound up with, and I dare say it was one of the best ones at the event; it has some very unique details and high quality. The price was easily worth the extra stretch over renting, and was an incredible value. And of note, it wasn't just me getting great treatment. Every time someone stepped in the store, I saw that they were greeted with warmth and care. And every time I stepped into the store, they were busy, handling 2-3 customers each, keeping up conversations and consultations with each, and speed-walking around. It's the kind of mental and physical energy that really wears you down in customer service, yet they never missed a beat. they remained warm and kind and caring with everyone. Maintaining that kindness with that consistency speaks volumes, and then they offered a high-quality, high-value product to go with it. Care like that is rare these days. If you are in need of a suit of any kind, from business to wedding to fashion to formal, please give these folks your business. They deserve it.

Consignment is such a convenient alternative to photographing, listing, storing, meeting buyers, and shipping items yourself. The store handles all of that work and also has to be selective about what it accepts and what it believes will sell. If someone feels their items are worth more than the amount offered, they are always free to decline the offer and sell them directly through OfferUp, eBay, or Facebook Marketplace. No one is required to accept an offer, and I don't think a small business should receive a poor review simply because an item was declined or someone hoped to receive more money. The owner works incredibly hard, the store is adorable, and there are always great finds at affordable prices. I recommend Happy Hangers to everyone!
