When a store gets upset just because you ask questions, it shows exactly what kind of business they are running. We came in just to look and ask questions because we have never planned a quinceañera before. Instead of being helpful, the employee made it a major problem. If a customer wants to try on a dress, it shouldn't matter how far in advance the event is--it should be the customer's decision.Our intention was never to waste anyone's time, but they certainly wasted ours. It is a public store; we have every right to go in, look, and ask questions without being treated like a burden. The owner actually went and posted a whole TikTok video complaining about the situation. If you don't want your questions to be treated as a bother, I highly recommend going elsewhere. We understand that her dresses may discontinue every four months, and that she may feel a year is too far in advance to shop. However, that doesn't justify making someone feel like they are wasting her time simply because they want to start looking early. We also do not agree with the $100 fee just to try on dresses. If someone is seriously considering purchasing a dress, it's understandable that they would want to try it on before making such a significant purchase. If the dresses are discontinued every few months, that could have simply been explained professionally rather than publicly criticizing potential customers on social media. Everyone plans their events differently, and there is nothing wrong with wanting to start dress shopping a year in advance. Roxy promised my husband a Michael Kors suit. When the suit arrived only the blazer was Michael Kors. To make matters worse, the whole suit was extremely large. The woman kept mentioning how she didn't know why the suit was so large and that she would make it right. Long story short, the second suit she brought for my husband was still not a Michael Kors suit and also did not fit properly.
