We walked in felt welcomed. Giving us a big smile and a greeting. She let us look around her med. size store. My teenage already spotted her favorites. Then owner let us know that every quinceanera dress are $500. instead of the actual price . That's way more. I felt I won the jack pot. So we explained to us to only try on 2 dresses because after 2 or 3 dresses the person gets too confused. That makes sense since all the dresses are beautiful. STAY AWAY!!! If I could give this place zero stars I would. The woman running this place is an incompetent thief! My husband ordered a suit for my daughters sweet 16. Roxy promised my husband a Michael Kors suit. When the suit arrived only the blazer was Michael Kors. To make matters worse, the whole suit was extremely large. The woman kept mentioning how she didn't know why the suit was so large and that she would make it right. Long story short, the second suit she brought for my husband was still not a Michael Kors suit and also did not fit properly. When my husband asked for his money back she said she could only give him back half although he never took the suit with him. My husband had to choice but to purchase a suit elsewhere! After texting a friend for recommendations of where to even start looking for a prom dress for my daughter, my friend could not recommend Roxy's Bridal enough!!! My friend has had a couple of very positive formal dress buying experiences from Roxy's and couldn't speak any more highly of Roxy and her shop. We ordered the damas dresses and rented the boys suits as well as grandma getting her dress there too. Roxy matched the colors for the boys and girls perfectly. There were a few times she could've easily played me and took my money but she was sincere and helpful instead. My daughter and I went in here a few weeks ago to try on dresses for prom. There was one dress my daughter loved but wanted it in green. Since Roxy's was our first stop we decided to wait and look around. After going to a few places my daughter wanted to try on one more green one she seen at Roxy's before making a decision. Since it's spring break and I am a working mom, I told her to go herself and send me pictures. The owner told my daughter she needed a parent. I called hoping she would let my daughter go in to just try on one dress and she said no because they only want serious buyers and not for girls to be coming in during spring break to have fun. I was really disappointed as we were serious buyers. She did not care at all that she would lose my business. Her exact words were "we just don't do that and if you decide not to shop here that's fine." I am not big on giving bad reviews to small businesses but this small business should not be so rude. She also has a small shop at the indoor Pomona swapmeet that I will also never shop at. My daughter and I will go to Davids Bridal or DTLA to find the perfect dress. DTLA has better service and value their customers more. If you need a beautiful dress, there are plenty of places with great service, just not this place. read more

1st stop on the long list of stores for my sister's Prom dress...Many variety of dresses for Prom, bridal, Quinceanera, ect. You only get to try on 3 dresses when you're there, my sister only saw 2 dresses she liked that were on display but not in her size. They also have catalogs to order from if none of the dresses catch ur eye, we did find one we both love one shoulder with a slit but we had to put a deposit 1st and wait 4 days for it to come in and see if she actually likes it on herself. I was told we are also able to make payments on the dresses as well.. which is very useful IF I find bridal dresses there I love. In the end, we didn't find my sister's Prom dress. We have gotten daughters winter formal and prom dress here. A large selection of dresses an was able to get alterations done in a week. Prices are great about $140 for each dress. As I waited for daughter to try on dresses I looked at wedding dresses since my sister will be getting married next year. The prices seem reasonable and they have nice bridesmaids dresses. read more

I'm very happy with the service I received from Roxy's Bridal. I went in to look at prom dresses before bringing the prom girl in with me and found quite a few dresses within a reasonable price range. If I didn't see anything in the store, they had catalogs full of dresses that we could have chosen from. The only problem I had was taking pictures of the dresses to send back to the prom girl for approval. I don't care if you're worried about me being a competitive business checking out your prices, I just want to buy a dress. Not being able to show that dress to a girl back home is a major hurdle to that goal. The girl working there accommodated me by posting the dress on their Instagram account right away but it still took 15 minutes to get that done. (By the way, I still took pictures of the dress when the sales girl wasn't looking simply because it was the easiest way for you to make a sale.) In the end, we purchased a dress but found out the next day that it wouldn't be ready in time for prom, we canceled the order and Roxy's promptly reversed the purchase on my credit card with a full refund. I'm reading a few of these reviews and wonder if they walked into a completely different boutique than I did?! Huge thank you to Roxy and her staff for making our quinceañera dress shopping the best experience! We are always warmly greeted by staff (and we were there a lot!) and were personally assisted by the owner herself. My daughter had her eyes set on the exquisite Morilee Vizcaya Collection dress 89126 & was immediately shown a floor sample of what the color would resemble, the way the material scalloped, its fine detailing, and measurements were taken. Her dress was catalog ordered and arrived an entire month earlier than expected and we were contacted upon the delivery. We came in that same day and Miss Roxy already had her dress steamed and ready to be fitted... the dress fit like a glove! Absolutely stunning and my daughter was glowing... We also purchased the quinceañera package and everything complimented the dress and my daughters style perfectly! We did require a slight alteration on the bolero, but of course Miss Roxy had that ready for pick up the following day. I ordered my daughters Quince dress last November, Roxy promised a delivery date beginning of April. The dress arrived when promised and was more beautiful than we expected. My daughter lost weight since we ordered it so alterations had to be made to take it in. Roxy took care of that a very reasonable price and again delivered right when she promised. I ordered my dress with Roxy too and she took care of alterations for my dress as well. The quince was this past Saturday and we got so many compliments on her dress. Several people asked where we bought it. This is the 2nd time we've bought a dress here as a family. My niece got her Quince dress at Roxy's a few years ago. Both times we've had a great experience. Several beautiful gowns! There is a three gown limit to try on, this is their policy, and a policy that I completely understand after visiting Camille La Vie and watching these teen girls toss expensive gowns around like they were rags. In fact I appreciated this little tidbit because I knew that it wasn't likely the gown we chose was going to be treated in such a poor manner. However, because it wasn't busy the staff was nice enough to extend five options to us, we still only used three. The gown we chose is just gorgeous, well made, and heavy. Be warned it was not inexpensive, but to compare again to Camille La Vie the increased price for quality is well worth it. My only issue was that from the beginning they seemed hesitant to cut/hem it (one week before prom). I was encouraged not to at the time of purchase and initial fitting for alterations. When we picked up the dress from the initial alterations, done excellently BTW for all that bead work, I realized that the dress absolutely needed to be hemmed. There was going to be no way around it. It was still suggested that I do not do this to the gown. I don't know if this was because it was such a massive job, which it was, and/or that I was giving very little time to do it - so to their defense I completely get that. By this point it was Wednesday, the prom was Friday, and there were eight layers to be cut, and at least two would have to be hemmed to make it through the night. So I understand my expectations were a bit much. I just would have appreciated not being urged to leave it as is, and a couple of times told it "couldn't" or "shouldn't" be done. The dress needed 5 inches off the bottom. I was able to take it to my tailor and he did an amazing job getting it done. Nonetheless, my daughter loved her dress, it was admired all night, there were no other girls wearing it, and she is insisting that we go back next year for senior prom! We definitely will be back - well in advance for any alterations needed :). read more

So I was on my search for bridesmaid dresses for my wedding and stumbled here. When I had first went in I went with about 5 of my bridesmaids, its prom session so A LOT of the dresses were very blingy, so they asked if we wanted to look through some magazines and we did and I found one that I loved! However it was not in store so it had to be ordered so my girls can try it on. So we went to other place to continue our search and found 1 other that I love but i wanted to see the one that was still coming here so i can decide. I gave one star because one, I have to and two because the dress came really fast and I received and email letting me know it was in, which I thought was pretty cool. So I made an appointment for my girls to go try it on. Since we weren't expecting it to come so quick only a few of my girls were able to make it. When my girls were trying it one the lady i believe it was Roxy herself, she was very pushy. So i told her since my other girls weren't able to make it they would be by to try on the dress during the week and/or the following weekend. This is my wedding and I wasn't taking this decision lightly what so ever. I wanted to make sure all the girls felt comfortable in the dress. So the following weekend myself and 3 of my other bridesmaids were going to try on the dress, When we got there the ladies in the front desk informed me that the dress has been SOLD and that we can look at it but not try it on! Ummm whats the point in that?!?! So i took that as a sign and decided to go with the other dress from another store. I arrived here after looking up its location via the Eden Bridal website, after having ventured out to Pomona to a store that no longer exists. The lady behind the counter acknowledged my presence as soon as she was done with a gentleman. She confirmed that they carry the Eden Bridal line. I explained that I am there to get a fabric sample, to which she affirmed that they do have. She asked me to wait a few minutes while she finishes up business with another customer. I smiled and stated "no problem!" After just a couple minutes, she calls me over and says "You need to make an appointment. Can you come back tomorrow?" This store must genuinely not want our business! We stopped by today to bring our 3rd daughter dress shopping for her quinceañera in July! They greeted us friendly and ask us the date of the event. Our daughter really has no idea of what style or type she likes so they offered her a catalog to look thru in hopes it would help her narrow down her choices. We thought maybe trying some on would help so we asked if she would be able to try some floor samples they said yes. We made our 2 selections and the girl goes to the back of the office and comes back and says we would need to make an appt in February to come back to try on the dress because we were way to early. We said we would be ok to order then but just wanted to try them but she said she couldn't do that and we would need to come back then. So be this so called policy should be placed at the door or should have been mentioned as soon as she asked me on the date. Now I understand they don't want to have to order it to early with the chances of the girl gaining or losing too much weight, but that would be my decision and my problem which would cost me in alterations for doing things too early. All we simply wanted was to try them on to start narrowing down colors and styles and come back at a later time to order. So families be aware if you want to plan out budget cost and order things in a timely manner you should go in there and fib on the date just to get the opportunity to try on some dresses or simply go some where else where they are willing to attend to you regardless of the estimated time to your event. read more

Worst experience! went in & got my son measured for a classmate quincena. Two ladies done it to make sure it was done correctly. Paid in FULL with ATM card. They stated that $20dlls will be reimbursed after tuxedo return but then ask for a credit card to be hold in filed ( WTF) so, I did ask if you guys are going to charge for a $20 extra charge for deposit, why ask twice for a credit card?? Both GIRLS couldn't answer but stated " good point & I will mentioning that to Roxy" I made sure that my CREDIT CARD shouldn't be charged for NO REASON!! They said " of course, only if you never return the tuxedo " 3day my son went to pick up the tuxedo to find out, his measurements were wrong & had to get measured AGAIN!! Smh so that Friday ( day before event) he went to pick up his tux ( so inconvenient) Return the Tex and son stated $20 dlls will be credit to card that was CHARGED!!! Which is odd because they should have gave him the CASH ( all other store do) since they took out all $114 Dlls weeks ago. Find out by credit card invoice that they CHARGED $20 Off credit card that was on hold. I then looked to see if my $20 dlls was ever credited to my ATM. N E V E R...I called to ask questions!! Girl remembered me and said we're so sorry!! IDK what's going on and ROXY is out of town. Once she lands I will call her and get this situation handled or her SISTER will be here later and call you. NEVER received a call from no one. Waiting (3) days & called back. Spoke to another girl who stated she was aware of the situation and will also call ROXY!! I explain that I needed ROXY to call me back since she the only one who can make MOVES or answer questions!!! I also text my photo screen charge on credit card. A whole week and HAS NO OBE CALLED ME!! Please don't ever work with these unprofessional girls ( not ladies) but they can't call or even answer simple questions!!
