Beautiful new boutique in the Claremont Village. We stopped in for a moment as we were making our way to the Sunday Farmer's Market... someone in our Claremont Women's Book Club had suggested this place. The shoes are fantastic! comfortable looking, the displays are updated each season. It has a high-end European vibe when you walk in; the scent is mesmerizing. Service was very accommodating. As soon as you walked in, they greeted you and asked if they could assist. Know in advance not to touch the merchandise - ask for their assistance. It's unfortunate that I can't respond directly to the review you left earlier, where you make claims that are clearly untrue--such as saying there were signs that said "do not touch." You know very well that's not the case. It wouldn't make sense to have a store that sells bags and shoes where customers aren't allowed to pick them up or try them on. You also know that nothing was damaged at any point. It's disappointing that, instead of simply saying something like "I'm sorry you felt that way," or offering any kind of apology, you chose to take a defensive attitude and continue being aggressive. In any case, don't worry -- I have no intention of ever returning to a place where customers are treated that way. Your table and display stand were never damaged, and honestly, given the unfriendly attitude you showed, I truly don't believe you would have hesitated to point it out and charge me if anything had actually happened. I'm not playing the victim -- I'm simply a dissatisfied customer sharing her experience, as this platform is intended for. I will say: your store is beautiful, and your products are truly lovely, but unfortunately, your attitude leaves a lot to be desired. Believe me, if you had maintained the same warm attitude you showed when we first arrived, none of this would have happened. It's truly unprofessional of you to resort to lies just to make others believe that I'm the one being dishonest. And finally, I won't be replying again, because this would just turn into a game of your word against mine -- and there's no point in that. Since I have no intention of ever returning to your store, I also have no reason to come back and read your responses. It is a great boutique. Love the unique collection. The owner sources the clothes from USA and Italy, primarily, from what I can tell. And they are reasonably priced. I echoed the other reviewer about stocking smaller sizes. The small sized clothing does run a bit big. Krista helped me choose all the clothes that I ended up buying. I have enjoyed shopping here for years, I have brought in so many customers but I was treated so disrespectfully yesterday so I will never go back. Out of 4 women that I have dealt with at this clothing & shoe store only one woman is very rude. For me It takes one person to make me want to shop elsewhere! read more

What a cute boutique shop in the Claremont Village. The clothes are very unique and the owner, Shirley, is helpful and friendly. The only thing I wish the store had more of is smaller sizes. Incredible women's clothing store! What a gem! Shirley, the owner is a great stylist because she helped me and my friend create outfits I wouldn't think we could wear! Shirley knows her inventory and gathered different sizes for us to try on. The store smells lovely! It's inviting! Bring a girlfriend, sit down on the couch or browse the clothes, jewelry, scarves, and shoes. Maison Garrison has timeless pieces as well as On Trend clothes for women of any age. Her jean selection is incredible! My friend often has a difficult time finding jeans that fit and feel good. Shirley pulled out different sizes and styles and she ended up buying 3 pairs of jeans because each one looked and felt so good! I bought a pair of black silky wide legged pants that can be dressed up or down, depending on the accessories or top. I love to support small women owned businesses. if you have t been to Maison Garrison in downtown Claremont, you need to put it on your must do list. It's a newer store to downtown filled with the friendliest and most helpful people. You can expect to find up to date fashion at reasonable prices. You can build outfits and expect you'll leave with the accessories, including shoes to go with. Purses, jeans, dresses, earrings, candles, shoes, casual, and contemporary pieces abound.
