Not over the top like they are trying to sell you something but like they are genuinely trying to help you find the perfect piece. Got a gorgeous sofa and recliner. Had a certain budget in mind, but fell in love with the furniture and didn't even check the price. Lindsay had given me some time to browse. I first discovered Furniture Masters on Yelp when looking for a couch. I wanted a sectional and really didn't want to spend much money for something that looked more expensive we got one for a great price. I thought I'd stop in. The staff was helpful but in no way pushy. They just offered help when I walked in and said if I had questions to just ask. About 15-20% of their inventory is consignment and everything else if floor models you'll find sofas from $300 to $2000. You can find chaises and ottomans starting from $99. We got a great true grey sectional for under $500 shipped to our place. The girl who helped me even helped me find the 2nd pillow that matches the set for me. The movers are so nice and very careful with bringing furniture in. They gently came through the door and placed it onto the floor. Most of the time I get really rough guys who just want to deliver mattresses and sofas and don't really care how rough they are in your property. I really appreciated that. Pleasantly surprised at the varied selection of furniture. I initially came looking for a small sofa and not only did I find one, but also couldn't resist a small coffee table and fireplace screen. The prices are extremely reasonable for the quality of furniture. I'm so glad I came. Delivery fee is well worth the flat $100 rate as well. Usual delivery is Saturday, but they offered to deliver on a weekday that I happened to be home. Friendly sales associates too that do not pressure. I'll surely be back to check them out again as they said offerings change weekly. Update...went back for a matching chair and sofa table. I came here because of the reviews. I purchased a sectional and I must admit it is my fault for not taking photo of the entire piece. I loaded up the UHAUL and when I arrived it turns out it didn't make sense at all. The couch was supposed to have 6 pieces to make sense. Lesson learned. Before buying anything here I would highly recommend checking out Costco and Target. I def won't recommend this store based on the price for used furniture. Went here a few weeks ago and was mainly looking for a sofa. Nice selection of everything you might need. Started asking about a particular sofa and pointed out something we liked in another almost identical model. Was told that they might be getting what we wanted in as soon as the next day. Also asked them about some kids furniture. We left our number and was told we would get a call when stuff came in the next day. Skip ahead about three weeks and no call. Was in the area and decided to stop by. As the lady finished with a customer I stood by and was ignored for a while as she wrote stuff down. Ok, not too big of a deal, but most people would at least acknowledge you. Once she spoke with me I realized this is the same person who helped us before. I brought up the sofa and not receiving a phone call about it coming/not coming in. She just responded that what we wanted had not come in. That's it, nothing more. Just went back to ignoring me. Her attitude and inflection told the whole story. Needless to say I will not be going back. read more

DO NOT SHOP HERE . . . Especially if you are going to use a credit or debit card. These folks are crooks. I've gone to this store 3 different times and have had the same problem. I can't chalk it up as coincidence any longer. Oh, and don't let the Christian music playing in the background fool you . . . I think its just a cover. I even asked a friend who previously shopped there and she had similar problems but did not make the connection that it was the employees at the furniture store trying to tap into her credit card. I admit it, i was lost. I had been to Mathis Brothers, Jeromes, Living Spaces and Ashley's. Not too bad. Not too good. Then I was found. While running errands I happened upon Furniture Masters in Chino Ca. This place is great. They have a very nice selection that changes constantly. The Quality is the real value. Real wood throughout and for prices far better than the big box furniture stores. There are so many beautiful accent pieces it's overwhelming. Very high quality pieces. I was able to furnish 3 rooms for much less than I would have had I bit on the afore mentioned stores. An additional value is the shopping assistance . Lindsey assisted me with my sections and gave good quality advice. I am told that it is a family owned business. I believe it and I will be back for more. I found the perfect gray sectional that I have been looking for at a reasonable price. The only reason why I give it four stars is because they did not mention that the sectional was missing a piece. I wouldn't call them crooks, but I did have a bad experience , a few years back. I bought an expensive sectional, that "they" ripped and we were told they would order us a new one or one like it. To this date and after several phones calls and a visit to the store, we still do not have an replacement. We no longer live in Chino and they knew we were moving out of town. So yes love the place, but I think I should have gotten an replacement after spending $2200 in the store and 1500.00 on the sectional.. read more
