This is for buy online pick up in store: The point of buy online pick up in store is supposed to be CONVENIENT! Or at least it use to be...I haven't ordered in a while but it's CHRISTMAS time and I wanted to walk in and out. I arrived to pick up my online order only to discover they've merged the checkout line with the online order line make it make sense! It's supposed to be convenient not an inconvenience. I stood in line longer than I would have liked 27 min to be exact. Couldn't do anything about it but wait. Then the cashier had to leave the register to go to the back to look for for my order that took an additional 7 minutes because she forgot my name. All together I was in the store 34 min. Just letting you all know if you plan on ordering online you will have to wait like everyone else. I gave them 2 stars for having the items shipped right away. read more

**Update on order pickup** There's no separate line anymore for order pickup. I'm standing in the longest line ever to pickup and they are collecting my order from the back. How is that efficient? Won't be doing order pickup anymore if this is the new norm. Fail. This store always has long lines and it was nice to use the order pickup area. I hope this was just a one off but the order pickup area that was moved to the back is gone. No signage for the change. Had to ask about it. Omg!! Horrible service and the lines are insane! The selection here is not great, one of the smaller stores. Don't have a lot of sizes, they either have too many of one thing and very few of another thing. Lines are insane and be prepared to stand in line for 20min or more on the weekends. AVOID! read more

Slow...Slow...Slow customer service, while the line keeps getting longer and longer for the returns and purchases...There's hardly ANY cashiers at their registers (please look at the photo below), and the cashiers who are trying to ring the customers are also in charge of answering their phones and helping other customers who are calling too when they can't even take care of the actual customers inside of the store!!!! I feel absolutely horrible when corporate offices like Nordstrom put so much pressure on their poor employees like this because there were several customers (including myself) who were in line and complaining about how slow things were moving and the fact that they did not have enough cashiers... Obviously Nordstrom does not care about their customer service otherwise the registers would have more cashiers who were only concentrating on ringing up their customers who have been waiting anxiously to get out of the store... Their fitting rooms are another mess; nowhere to leave the clothes you don't want when you come out of the dressing rooms since their rolling racks were full, and not to mention nobody to even check you in... The employees were nice and professional which is why I gave them two stars instead of one because I feel they are not to blame in this... Great place. Clean and well trained staff representing the rack. Kim...a nice lady employee helped me find a shirt. She stopped everything she was doing to help me. I felt like a Pelosi. Even the manager up front seeing their is a growing line of customers wrapping halfway around the store just not paying any attention to her staff or customers' needs. After wasting my time with Nordstrom yesterday, I am DONE being a customer. I wanted to return an item I had purchased from the anniversary sale that was going on last month. I've never had any issues trying to make a return at a rack store until today. The lady working the front said she was unable to take the return because it's a designer brand. Ummm? What? It was a $60 lip kit from Dior, and like I said, I've never had an issue making any type of return at a rack store nor am I one of those customers that abuse the return policy. I went outside and called .com and asked if the policy had changed she informed me that it's up to the manager to accommodate that change. I called and spoke to the floor manager BRIDGET, who was completely unhelpful, but in this day and age it seems they'll hire anybody without customer service skills. Doesn't matter if you have proof of purchase, she would not accept my return and recommended that I ship it back, or go to a nordstrom fls store. Uhhhh. Nordstrom closed the two in the inland empire, what an inconvenience to drive to Brea for a $60 return. I left infuriated, and figured, if I'm going to drive out to Brea for this, I'm returning everything I purchased at Nordstrom in the last 1-2 years, and did just that. I am done with this company. They're just as bad, if not worse, than Macy's. With this new approach to customer service, I wouldn't be surprised to see this company go under in the next decade. No wonder they're closing stores. That magical Nordstrom experience is no longer there. They are just like every other retailer now. I really felt racially profiled today as I made my return. I was charged twice for the same pair of shoes, luckily I checked my receipt a few hours later that same day. I just so happen to be a Nordstrom employee at another location so I know that being questioned about what location I work at is not part of the protocol, nor is calling a manager to approve the return and furthermore asking me multiple times for my email address as if they didn't believe me. A woman standing by the front door just staring at me like she was on guard. After the manager finished my return he went and started talking to her so I'm thinking they had her watching me? I don't know....Mind you I had my toddler with me... what did they think I was doing?! I really just felt so terrible after leaving. This NR has to be my second favorite in the area (sorry!) But if you avoid the peak times (basically weekends and after work) It can be pretty organized. I stopped in around lunch time and it wasn't very busy. I had to do a little birthday shopping and some retail therapy for myself. I ended up getting an amazing deal on a pair of Mother Jeans so I am pretty satisfied. The check out/return process is simple and hassle free & the employees at this location are nice and personable. I had an awful experience with Kayleigh s today at a register. While returning something she automatically put the funds onto a credit card. The item was a gift so I asked for it to be on a gift card and she told me it's too late she refunded the credit card. I explained it's a gift that's not my card and she said "well the card isn't "made up" soooo" I asked her to put it on a gift card and she said I can wait.. she rolled her eyes told me I needed to tell her I wanted it on a gift card and not my credit card when I got there. I explained I wasn't aware usually employees ask if the return method back to the card / on a gift card is preferred. Again she rolled her eyes. Sarcastically said have a great day so I asked to speak to a manager. After explaining to the manager and watching her still roll her eyes, as I left I said you need to your customers and she yelled that she is and I'm rude.. told me to have a great day and mumbled under her breath "stupid bitch". Also shouted that I clearly woke up in the wrong side of the bed.. disgusting customer service.. I won't be returning to this location and she deserves to be fired. Unacceptable customer service she also somehow said she worked there 7 years and this isn't even her full time job, hopefully it's no longer her job. I bought a Valentino bag for my niece birthday couple weeks ago. Unfortunately I didn't check inside the bag because I believe Nordstrom Rack won't selling used designer merchandise. It doesn't take me more than 10 minutes to kind of scan through mens section and leave the store. It's so hard to find any gems in the pile of old designs now. Located at the Chino Spectrum Market place, I decided to drive out to this Nordstrom Rack location today since I had the time. This Nordstrom Rack is specifically located next to Tilly's and a few doors down from Marshalls. Upon this visit, I headed for the handbag department first and then the shoe department. I was rather disappointed with the handbag department. Not as many good finds or that many high end brands here. Also was not a fan of the shoe department (towards the back of the store). I hate it when a location has just one shoe on the rack. With only one shoe, you have to get the other at the shoe mate window/ counter. This is the 2nd Nordstrom Rack that I have seen that has this type of set up for shoes, which is a hassle, especially if there is a line. But if you come during the middle of the day on a weekday, there will most likely not be a wait. Because of this hassle, it made me not want to try any shoes on or really do much looking. With Nordstrom Rack, you have to come over multiple visits because the store is always getting new stock. But because of these 2 disappointments in my favorite departments, I don't see myself making a special trip to come back here. In fact, I don't think I would come back even if I was in the area (which is doubtful because I have only been in Chino/ Chino Hills three times now, including this trip... and sorry for those who live in the IE, but I am not a huge fan of the county). By the way, the Clear The Rack sale is this Friday through Wednesday (Nov 11). If you do not know what this sale is, you get an additional 25% off red tag items. And there are a lot of great deals during this time and worth a visit (but not at this location for me... I rather go to the location in Upland). read more

Love shopping for business attire at a reasonable price and this Nordstrom Rack has been my go to. Employees really make or break chain retailers, and the folks here are super helpful and responsive. Also many of them seem to enjoy their work or at least interacting with their colleagues, which makes me feel good shopping at a store where employees can have a laugh while working, just livens the environment a bit like a Trader Joe's. read more

Also, I do have to say he made the transaction very smooth and simple. A friend of mine came to the store and a male worker (around age 27, asian) who appeared to be relaxing in the women's fitting room, which is already a concerning scenario, followed her into the fitting room and recorded her changing. After she confronted him, he denied everything that happened and there was no update on the situation on our side. I am repulsed by this worker and hope you all find sympathy for my friend who is traumatized by this situation. Please fire this worker! He is disgusting. read more

Here and they have like seriously only two cashiers working when they have about 20 people waiting in line!
