What an incredible location. Big, clean and the wide range of items that I've come to enjoy at TJ Maxx. Bonus that it's combined with Home Goods. My girlfriend was having issues with some new shoes she just bought elsewhere and her feet were hurting bad. She was able to find some sandals that gave her relief. When we got to the checkout line, it was about 25-30 customers deep and all registers were open. The only issue was we were on our way to see a movie and needed to leave. A wonderful employee saw the pain my girlfriend's feet were in and overheard that we needed to get the movies. He offered to ring up the one item for us so that we could make our movie on time. If it wasn't for her being in pain and us being in a time crunch, we would have refused, but due to the circumstances we were extremely grateful. This act of kindness made our day and provided us with a fantastic experience at TJ Maxx and even our movie. Great store, great selection, wonderful service. read more

Cashiers were short staff?! Get more for Christmas please. Right now in November the store is fully stocked and I was able to buy a suitcase and winter sweaters. Come get your Holiday decorations, service ware and Christmas trees too! Got me a few pairs of new socks they have plenty of choices. I was looking for new luggage. I found a suitcase I liked. However, it had a big dent in one corner and was missing a packing cube. There wasn't a single employee who I could ask about a possible discount. I asked the lady who was working in the fitting room. She was very rude and told me I had to stand in the extremely long line to ask about a discount. I finally got to the front of the line. The cashier called a manager who offered me a measly discount. No thanks! Will not be shopping at this location again! read more

Danielle was horrible and extremely rude. I didn't have a receipt but my clothing had all tags attached still. No stains or anything wrong with item, just too big on me. Online, their policy is, if you don't have a receipt, you can exchange for a gift card/store credit or something of same value. This policy was not upheld. Not only that but the customer service was terrible. Danielle was snarky and rude when I asked her what my options were. She even laughed when I tried to resolve it... This is by far the worst TJ Maxx in California. The customer service is absolutely terrible, and some of the staff clearly treat people differently based on race. I've never felt so disrespected while shopping. TJ Maxx really needs to look into their hiring and training here -- it's unacceptable. read more

We were in the area and we stopped by TJ Maxx. We've been to a few others. They're basically all the same carrying the same merchandise but the store here is bigger and a lot more merchandise you can go through. They have a lot of seasonal right now ,we picked up a couple of seasonal items for Halloween and Thanksgiving .The service is courteous and friendly .They have really good deals here you save money. The parking lot is shared parking with other businesses on the premise.The handicap stalls are by the front entrance. read more

There existed decent sales at all times but depending on what you needed, I was able to locate discounted make up here as well as on top of our currently, Walnut location. Aside from make up, I would browse around aisles of following items: shoes, clothing and household decors. read more

I love this TJ Maxx /HomeGoods not only because of their great deals but because every time I've shopped at this store, every single employee has been very helpful and pleasant to deal with...Even though no matter what day of the week you are shopping, there seems to be a line at the register, don't worry since the lines move pretty quick, and theres so many goodies they have displayed in the area you are standing in line, that you might end up adding an item or two to your shopping cart!!!! I was very impressed with the way they're practicing all COVID guidelines so make sure to give yourself some extra time since they are limiting the amount of shoppers in the store... read more

I purchased multiple gifts for the Christmas for my friends. Return one of the item today. The item was rapped with sealed plastic bag & in the box. This is the 1st time that return stuff makes me feel like past the customs. The cashier inspected the item like border police. She opened the box, check every corner of the box & plastic bag. I don't even open it since I purchased. She was repeating to ask me why I'm returning it & what's wrong with the item. So disrespectful. I never ever had this kind of experience before. read more

Even as an employee of Marshalls. Why is this store so unwelcoming? Every single time I've been in here I'm followed around like I'm stealing. See... as former LP(not for this company) you're not slick about it either. You have two ladies in the section with "high end" designer brands behind the counter chatting away so that should be deterrence enough because the customer service is lacking, but yeah, this place loves following people around. Well... Men around. To be more specific. Also, turn the heater down it's not that cold outside in Southern California. read more

Very dirty store. What a mess!! Everything so unorganized and dusty. There was nothing that o found too... and I looked. I was very disappointed in this location. One, many products that they had were damaged in the beauty section. Two, nothing was sized. Three, the shoe section seemed large but I could smell it from the beauty section.. if you know what I mean. Four, the selection seemed more of a Ross collection than a tj Maxx selection. This location is next to a target so I'm sure parking can be miserable but I went first thing in the morning so I did not have issues. I would say definitely skip this location. read more

T.J. Maxx & HomeGoods has amazing home decor and organization supplies. The clothes are good quality and unique. They keep with the style but provide classic clothes. It is a busy store so, I would recommend getting there in the morning for the best goods. read more

Located in Chino Spectrum area, it's between Target and Dicks Sporting Goods. Lots of designers brand from clothing to handbags, shoes, children toys... They even have Home Goods dept here. Love their kitchen stuffs, but, you need to take time to search because they're all misplaced. Very disorganized. The lady at checkout didn't even say Hi or Thank you except she's yawning with wide open mouth. Lol. I think I'll go to Brea area next time. read more

2 ND time visiting TJ Max yesterday Saturday Upset on how I was treated again for the 2nd time in the jewelry Dept the woman didn't want to help me I was with my 13 year old niece who said why doesn't she ask if we needed help we were hear first and went to help another woman and even after helping her she still didn't offer.... this exact thing happened with my 20 year old daughter... 1 hour wait to check out. Granted, it's the day after Christmas but I've never experienced this wait time. It usually moves quicker than this. I used to work at Marshall's (owned by the same company), and the line was always the priority. It's not good for the mental health of the store employees or the customers. Kids get impatient and destroy ever section they go through. People have time to mess up the Q-line. The store isn't necessarily bad but it isn't great either. For the most part, it is usually not a complete mess, most of the employees are nice, and I like the layout of the store. read more

So today I go to this TJ Maxx because my sister saw a pair of earrings she liked yesterday, she went to buy them. My sister is bilingual I speak 4 languages with that said she began speaking Spanish to the lady behind the jewelry counter "Roseanne" . Roseanne right away began speaking down to my sister stating that she "grew up in Orange County and she had no idea what my sister was saying that she never in her life needed to speak Spanish ever", my sister was taken back by her comments, as she has worked in customer services before has had people speaking many different languages. My sister felt attacked by the encounter and asking herself if she was in the wrong? I explained to her that neither Orange County , California and or the USA do not have an official language and that it wasn't my sisters fault for other people's ignorance. I don't understand why she had the need to say these things to my sister. All she had to say "oh I don't speak Spanish let me get you some assistance" The cashier that helped me was very polite and respectful her name is Amanda. Amanda had great service. This TJ Maxx has a lot of interesting random packaged food items from time to time. Normally come to this location with friends around the area. I mainly come here for the packaged organic coffee beans/groundings for brewing at home and sometimes the snacks scattered throughout the aisles. A lot of different choices and options. From time to time, it does tend to get busy. Cashiers are called to the front to ring up customers. Customers would sometimes get too antsy and abandon their items before storming out. read more

I've shopped at this store numerous times, finding good finds and friendly staff to help me with any questions. I went shopping this afternoon and found several items to purchase only to have the smile wiped off my face when the line was 30 people plus waiting their turn. Only 5 cashiers to check you out. 25 minutes later it was my turn. I noticed while in line, a women standing behind Station 1, not helping at all. Truly sad to find out this person was the Manager. Why you can't set a example of a good team member and help your crew out is beyond me. I wasn't impressed with the Coordinator who checked me out either, pushing the TJ Maxx Credit Card at me. 3rd time I was asked I had to be more assertive in my answer. This behavior doesn't exactly make me want to come back anytime soon. read more

I don't normally like to review stores but seriously, this place is awesome! I thought it was only a HomeGoods store until I walked in and saw a huge and organized purse and luggage section immediately to my right and an extensive kitchen section beyond that. I think my boyfriend left me around the pantry/kitchen section picking spices for the longest time... I mean, I got excited at sauces, champagne vinegar, etc. Most of the stuff were in good condition and not ripped or looked too worn. They have a great selection and I was able to walk away with some good deals. They also have some nifty organizing items but the problem with some of these stores is that you can't match boxes if there's only one left! Oh well, that's the way it goes. I freaking LOVE TJ Maxx! This place is my go to place when I'm trying to lose weight ... you know what I mean? You're not quite to the weight you want and you don't want to go to Wal-Mart for a Brady bunch style selection. I love going to this place because I can get a $125 pair of jeans for $$25. The best part? During the Halloween season, they had this garden zombie I had been looking for for around 6 years AT A DISCOUNT! I saved at least $40 bucks on this thing. I know, you can't really put a price on a good garden zombie, but hey. I actually go to this place several times a week, and here's my one bit of pro advice to you: If you see something you like, BUT IT! Don't wait, don't pass go, or you'll miss out. Stuff there doesn't last long. The staff is great, and they really are very helpful. Bottom line? You need to check this place out. read more

Bonus for having a HomeGoods, always makes the chance of finding something greater, branching out beyond clothing. This is an older store, but it is big with a lot of parking. It doesn't get as full as other stores, but also does not have a designer Runway section (minus one star) I didn't find anything this time, but TJ's is always worth a look, over the years I have found so much for myself, my husband and son, things for the home, TJ's is still one of the best stores to find a great deal. read more
