I really like the prices and selections here. However this place was trashed, and not just messy like the store team had not recovered it was dangerous for customers. So much stuff on the floor, and in the Christmas and home section there were these big boxes of random merchandise back to back in the aisle, almost appeared to be go backs. I couldn't even fit the small cart down the aisle yet alone and most importantly not ADA standard. I almost slipped from so much stuff on the floor and had to lift my cart over it and then pick it up so no one else would get hurt. Please fix this!!! Get more staffing, allocate more payroll or pull in an emergency team to get this store back together. read more

Kind of a nice Marshalls in the area. Located centrally in all the major shopping plazas in Chino Hills. This Marshalls has a nice beauty and fragrance section and also a decent clothes haul. I was there mostly to check out their beauty section. But store seems to be lively, people shopping, and so on. Parking is widely available with a shared lot inside the plaza. read more

Cashier's are rude and act like the clothes they are selling or returning are bugody or super expensive brands. They make you feel like you're stealing when the tags are literally on the clothes and I had the receipt. They had the nerve to tell me to take it back where I bought it. So disappointed with this store. I enjoy going to Marshalls to see what deals they have. One of the MOST disorganized store I've been to. Bins everywhere not stocked. Men's shoes are scattered in Kids sections and women shoes are under MEN aisle... mixed of women and men and kids shoes, staff couldnt find men shoes when I pointed it out. I used to shop here in this location when I lived in Chino. This Marshalls carried quite a bit of sharply discounted brand name items from those you can find in any department stores. The sections I go to quite a bit were: make up, handbags, household items and shoes. During holiday weekends, one can expect long lines inside and outside the parking lot. But I would prefer shopping here over Department stores at all times. read more

True that to find the right thing you need to spend a decent amount of time in the store, but it is rewarded at the checkout when they say the total price for the purchase (hunting). This is my go-to Marshall's! I frequent this one quiet often to buy many things I hate buying it at RETAIL PRICE. Retail price is my worse enemy because I've worked retailed before I got into modeling/entertainment, so I know how they work. Retail prices aren't "luxury prices" they are just prices they put because they have to make a profit out of it. My mom was a seamstress before she got her stroke. She used to sew clothing for the big 5 fashion companies in the business like Abercrombie and Fitch. Each piece she sew up earns her $0.10 to $0.25. I know, right? That's how much is costs for them to make it. Paying so cheap to make and they mark up the shirt to $35-$55 a piece? I'm sure you guys get my point? Most things I buy, I refuse to pay retail, and that is why I come to Marshall's! You can buy things at a bargain price, and I'm loving it!!!!! Their are somethings I literally refuse retails unless it's a high end luxury brand. I buy my clothes here, and a lot of my beauty products here. For example, I buy this brand call "Advanced Clinic's" Tea Tree oil here for only $5.99. I mean I gotta do a little digging sometime, but for the most part I usually at least find one. Sometime, I find two and I get lucky. Whereas, if I bought this brand from their website or on Amazon, it would've costed me over $10. At Marshall's, this location, I can get it for $5.99. I know every Marshall is the same, but I always get mines here. I also buy my Argan oil, conditioner and shampoo here. Whereas, if I buy elsewhere, it would've costed me a pretty penny. I get mines here for $6.99 for Argan leave in conditioner, $9.99 for hair conditioner, $9.99 for shampoo and so forth. Anywhere else, they would've charged me almost $20 each or more. Same formula, same brand not ripping me off. I always save. My mom taught me frugal ways because I grew up poor before I made my money and ventured into modeling/entertainment. You won't know what it feels like unless you are scrabbling change to buy milk and water. I know because I've experienced it first hand. That is why I shop the way I shop. Marshall's does the trick for me and I'm always happy finding a bargain here. This Marshall is also one of the clean one's which I like. They always seen a bit more organized, and they always have the things I want available and MORE! I always end up buying more than what I come in here for. I applaud them for being a bit for organizing, and they have such a clean store. I mean I never seen them looking bad and things thrown all over the places. They seem to keep this place pretty neat. I'm sure they have their bad days, but the days I go they seem to always be intacted!! You can find many different brand names if you actually look. I really love this store so this review is an upsetting one..... I don't understand how a huge business like Marshall's can't even put a simple sign to tell customers what's going on. It's 10 am on a Sunday and they usually open at 9am.... doors are locked and carts are blocking the door. To me, it seemed everyone I saw walking around inside didn't seem to be in distress sooo what's the deal? A simple sign saying you'll be open at a later time would have been so helpful. read more

This location is small compared to other locations I've been too. Their furniture selection is very minimal and they use to have a better handbag selection. I do like their shoes and clothing but I'd still rather go across the street to TJ Max. The staff is a mixed bag. Some are not very knowledgeable. One thing that I really don't like is a return policy for online orders. If you use PayPal they will only give you your money back on a gift card. The first time I made an online return in store they put it back on my credit card, but I guess they weren't supposed to do that. So if you shop online and you want your money back when you return in-store be sure you don't use PayPal!! read more

Very bad customer service, christina z was very unprofessional for having 10 years of service. Let's just say to keep it short that they did not help me with my purchase. Christina didn't want to help me at first. Then she was walking around looking for a missing shirt. Taking her sweet time after I waiting in line for 15min. I tried to help her but she was ignoring and kept looking around. Once we went to register, she told manager that I was being rude to her. So they decided not to help me with my purchase . I don't like writing reviews. I just feel like they were not helpful and embarrassed me. I had a terrible experience at your store today because your associate was rude and condescending. I was the first customer to need change for $100. bill. Understandably, I was asked if I had something smaller. I confirmed that I did not. It was then explained to me that she only had $5's $10's and $1's. I then asked for a manager, and the associate responded that this was store policy. The problem came with the transmission of the money. Not counted out, and when I attempted to count it out, the money was given haphazardly, which coupled with her attitude was totally unprofessional and passive-aggressive. When I tried to count the money, your associate then tried to rush me along, which added to my frustration. With that, I asked for her name to voice my concern as she had conveniently turned her badge so that it was no longer visible. I had already noticed that she had a unique name that started with an E, as it is my custom to thank whoever is serving me and call them by name. This coupled with my transaction number should identify her. She then called for the MOD, Jennifer, whom I had asked for earlier and was refused. She was just as rude as her co-worker. When I settled down and counted my change, I had been shorted $10. Which should have caused her drawer to be over! Rude, condescending, passive-aggressive, and poor customer service. Did I mention that I am black and they are not? I don't know if I would call it racism, but they are very poor examples for your frontline! read more

I'm a regular customer and to be fair, this location has been pretty good since they "opened" and "re-located" within the Chino Spectrum. However!? Last night I purchased a large cat scratching post for $79 and it wouldn't fit in my car. The "Store Manager" refused to hold item so that I could go home and switch cars. She suggested I return the item, go get my car, come back and re-purchase the item. This is a shocking lack of customer service and common sense. Hope corporate reads their reviews and re-trains their employee. This location is off my list. read more

Located at the Chino Spectrum Marketplace, specifically next to Verizon Wireless and a few doors down from Nordstrom Rack. I came by here this afternoon since I was already shopping at Nordstrom Rack. I thought this Marshalls was actually pretty clean. It is nice to see no clothes all over the floor. In fact, this store reminded me of a TJ Maxx more so (although they are from the same family, I prefer TJ Maxx over Marshalls) because of the layout and cleanliness. Unfortunately I did not find anything on this visit. But with stores like this, you have to visit often to find all of the deals. On this visit, I thought the shoe department was lacking and so was the handbag department. Disappointed with the selection (Michael Kors bags and I saw one Dooney and Bourke bag). Ladies' restroom was clean upon this visit. Plenty of parking, wished there was more shade though (who wants to come back to a hot car?). read more

Marshalls is always a hit or miss, this is a nicer one. It's pretty big, has plenty of parking and a long check out line, just like most other locations. Service is fine and it is well maintained. Worth a stop if you are in the area, you never know what you can find on the clearance racks. Love that its a big mix of clothing as well as décor and homegoods. read more

Like the Marshalls near my place, the merchandise here can be hit or miss. I picked up some Chargers jerseys for $10 a pop a couple of months ago - though I don't know if they were overstocked, or because the team sucked this year. (And these were the Philip Rivers and Antonio Gates jerseys! Can't find those at Marshalls in SD!) Otherwise, the same Marshalls experience I've gotten down south - barely any customer service, and somewhat messy store with hidden bargains that could be found if you look close enough. read more

I am a Marshall-holic! I love coming here because of all the great things they have, especially their clothes and furniture items. The prices are incredible and everything in the store is pretty much good quality. If you're on a tight budget or are a bargain hunter, this is the place to go for everyday shopping or to get gifts for any holiday of the year. They have everything from clothes to different types of shoes to bedding/bath, curtains, storage, cute decorations, kitchen, you name it. All for very reasonable prices. I like to get my yoga and workout gear here because they have brands like Nike and puma. Ex: I bought puma yoga pants for $19.99 when the original puma price was $55. This is the newest Marshall's in the Chino area that opened right next to Best Buy where the old Borders used to be. But like most other Marshall this place is abit on the disorganized side with items scattered around on the shelves. It's more like scavenger hunt trying to find some goodies. It seemed like they were still trying to decide how to organize the store too as i could see them moving inventory around. I'll check back later and see if things have gotten better. read more

Terra is the worst person i have ever seen. Worst customer service and very bad attitude. We were trying to returning something so we can get credit back to our credit card and re-purchase it with the gift card... Terra literally opened the package in front of us and the cashier and tell us it's opened and cannot be returned. We wanted the product and I don't understand if it make any sense. I brought my receipts corresponding to the items which were to be returned and they refused to take both items back which I was trying to explain they were stained and I didn't discover them until I was home. This place rocks! You can find a lot of hidden gems here without even trying. Bought myself a couple records for my collection at 50% off retail last week. I may regret giving this tip later... lol. They have a nice selection imo for the small amount they do carry. I also found some MK and Versace shirts for men that were significantly marked down as well. Who knew? I usually love to shop at Marshall,s but now they have those shopping carts that can't go to your car in the parking lot. This is very inconvenient since I usually buy several items that can be breakable and heavy. They don't even offer to help you to the car. One time they said I can park in front of the store but I had to leave my car and go inside and get my items myself. They definitely don't cater to the customer. read more
