Kohls has gone downhill from when I first started shopping there 10+ yrs ago. Now, there are no more kiosks so you can have a product not in stock shipped to you. The employees won't order it for you. They force you to download their app, use the unsecured public WiFi, and do it yourself. It took 15 min to get it to work. If you don't do it yourself, then oh well, go shop someplace else. The clothes are all polyester now. Even from last holiday to this holiday the same exact T-shirt went from 65%cotton to 65% polyester. I returned it. I don't buy as many clothes anymore. They don't sell jewelry either. It was taken over by Sephora. I used to buy new earrings every month. It's been years now. Overall the service and lack of inventory keep me away. It's too bad because Chino has no other stores. This Kohl's is one of the better ones. The store is well-organized, so it's easy to find what you need without wandering around forever. There's also plenty of parking too, which is always a win as that's one of the things I always look for. I have found some good stuff - jackets, shoes, socks, and shirt (regular wear) for my husband, all good quality at solid prices. The only downside is the checkout line, it can get super long but the staff are helpful and friendly. P.S. Their Kohl's Cash program and clearance sales always gets me. read more

Kohl's reminds me of Mervyn's from back in the day. Lol I love their kohls cash rewards program. It saves you even more money on top of their offered coupons. Members do save lots and it really is a perk to have a kohls credit card, because of the extra savings and offers. The only thing about the cash reward is that it expires w/i a week or so! :( I feel like if you've spent the money to earn it, you should be able to save it for use w/i a longer period of time, no? What's also great about kohls is that they offer free"ship to store," if you're shopping online and don't want to pay for shipping. Your item will be shipped to the store of your choice and you can pick it up there. :) I've been shopping at kohl's for a while now and this location is the closest when I come and visit family. If you have a self-check out area, you should have someone always manning it to help anyone with a problem. Instead, we were ignored and there was like 5 check outs opened up and 3 people behind them doing nothing. No came to assist us and we held our hands up like in kindergarten and no one paid us any attention. Now I know why no one was in the slef out check out area. It's like the employee don't want it used. If no one is there to help and show them how to use it, no one will use it. It's odds that it's only card use and no cash. Kohl's is not cheap but they do have some nice sales occasionally and there's the Kohl Cash, $10 for every $50 spent. They also give you $5 Kohl's cash to spend every time you ship something to Amazon. They also have licensed Dodger and Laker apparel with unique items. I was trying to return a juicer I bought in store with my Kohls card. Unfortunately, I did not have to box available but did have all the parts. I called the week prior to confirm I would still be able to return this item despite not having the box. The customer service rep on the phone said yes since they're able to look up my purchases with my Kohl's account. They would just need to find a box for the same item that they can scan to refund me. I went into the store, waited in line and when I got to the register, the lady gave me the most disgusting look because my one year-old was crying. And she said she couldn't help me. And asked with an attitude "what even is this?" Referring to the product I had right in front of her. She said again that she couldn't help me until I told her what the customer service rep had told me on the phone. Then she rolled her eyes and called for help. I just picked up my item and left. Stopped by this Kohl's location for the first time a few days ago. I normally do store pick-up at the Walnut location but they did not have the item we liked, and we didn't have enough for free shipping. The closest location to carry the item was the Chino location. Since it was my first time at this location, I had to ask a cashier where the Store Pick-Up/Customer Service was. There was no employee near the front entrance, so there was no one else to ask. Good thing I asked because it is in the opposite direction of the Walnut location, which is to the left of the entrance, in the back. This store doesn't feel as inviting as the Walnut location, and there are not enough signs to point a first time visitor in the right direction. The service at the Customer Service area was way better and they were very efficient and provided great customer service. I showed them my email with the barcode, my ID, and received my item in just a few minutes. I was out of the store shortly after. The parking lot is a plenty, and a bit oddly shaped but overall, a good first experience. read more

I like that there is a Sephora and Amazon drop off at this location. Its close to other shops in case you don't find what you need... or prices a bit high. But other than that, if you like Kohls its a Kohls The restroom are clean, the rest of the location is clean, some sections are a bit more empty or messy than other but its just about the time of day you go. read more

Everytime I go to Kohls there is less and less selection in each department. I go to make Amazon returns and get Kohls cash and I can't even find anything to spend it on! I walk sound the store several times. Lately nothing is even on sale. Yesterday, I just bought some wax melts and the cashier was rude. The only thing she said to me was "Next!" When it was my turn. I love Kohl's... I mean c'mon; they have wonderful coupons, great selection and it's always clean. I have been to some amazing Kohl's locations. However, I was appalled by the service I received at this location recently. I bought a pair of shoes, and there were two different sizes in the box, when I brought them home. I went to return them, and couldn't find my size. I checked online, and saw 2 pairs of my sizes available in store. I couldn't find them (things were in slight disarray in the shoe area). I went to customer service/returns and the gal helping me paged shoes to help. She paged again, after I asked 20 minutes into waiting. I stood there for 30 minutes; and she continued to help the rest of the line. I just walked out and left, since I couldn't get any help. I watched employees standing around, laughing, and wasn't helped at all. There are some really nice employees but the customer service/returns section is just terrible. Please corporate - train employees so customers aren't left with poor service. read more

I really loved this Kohls, very clean, and they really adhere to the COVID guidelines, making my shopping experience here enjoyable. They enforce the mask wearing well, and they do clean their counter often and they have hand sanitizer almost everywhere. I don't shop here often. Once in a while I go here to return Amazon things. They have Amazon return section that process returns pretty quickly. Every time when any product is returned, they would give Kohl's $5 cash coupon. Smart! It makes you go around in the store to perhaps find something you like to use the coupon. They don't have much of the brands I like except some Nike, Adidas and Champions. Don't forget that most of the times you can combine $5 cash coupon with their regular coupon so you can get extra discount. I ended up purchasing fluffy winter socks for my daughter. Lots of things are on sale because biggest holiday seasons are approaching.... Beware that there are a lot of people are in line waiting to pay. Would have been better if the lines moved little bit quicker. read more

I found out they had some "frozen" chairs that my kids wanted so I went into the store. Luckily, I found them. The cashier that checked me out struggled to lift a finger. She wanted to lift the chairs through the tiny screen, so she could scan it. I told her it was too big, but I didn't mind lifting it. She was "huffing and puffing" for absolutely no reason. Pretty clear she hates her job. She doesn't need to take it out on customers. I just wanted to pay for my items and get out. She made the entire process difficult. Then she didn't give me a bag to carry out my items, so I had to ask for it. Then she just handed me the bag without bagging the items, so I asked her to please assist. It was just an odd encounter. Luckily, I'm not a regular shopper. I definitely won't be back! Grateful for that! read more

I live in Chino Hills more than a quarter of century and support all businesses around. I was happy when Kohl's was opened and never stopped shopping here until now. Yesterday, while waiting for my car to get a smoke check nearby, I decided to pay Kohl's a visit. After 5 minutes walked in, I thought I was in Tijuana. All announcements were in Spanish??? WTH? Is this America or what? Aren't they supposed to announce in English and Spanish? FYI, hispanics aren't even majority here in Chino Hills, BTW. What California has turned to??? Sad. Very sad. This Kohl's has a sephora in it the doesn't accept sephora credit card instead pushes Kohl's cash and rewards. After removing all the original beauty brand Kohl's carried they went through reconstruction to provide a Mickey-moused Sephora that doesn't operate like a real Sephora. Not only that but this Sephora was completely under stocked amd understaffed. The only staff was a really nice lady who honestly was the only good thing about sad excuse for a Sephora. Lastly, they were out off at least half of the items I was in their to buy. If you're going to reconstruct just to open a piggy back business inside your department store at the very least make sure it offers the same things as a the original store. read more

I used to love this location, but after not shopping in stores for a while I've noticed this particular location has fewer and fewer products. They've re-marketed items which looks nice, but now there isn't as big of a selection in the actual store. You can stack as many coupons as you want, letting me walk out with free or close to free items several times a year, you just can't beat that. Not a huge fan of the men's or womens clothes, but we get my son stuff here, bedding is nice and service is great as well. Tons of easy parking, great hours, huge and spacious well stocked store. read more

I love kohls..cuz everything is always on sale & they sell food network stuff!! but this one...it is so uncomfortable shopping here...there are "do not inventory" signs posted all over display units making it hard to look at them...they do know the point of display units are so that customers can get a feel for the item right?? The associates also show a lack of teamwork...one second calling for backup at the register and the next announcing there's no line at the register across the store...talk about lazy! The cashier greets us, indicating she is ready to help us and then immediately begins helping a different customer...no apologies or explanation...we waited there about a minute before we headed over to the next open register where we finally received good customer service. note: this store uses solar power ..yay saving energy! read more

Cashier charged us for two pairs of pants and refused to take action and correct the situation she insisted the price on the screen was correct and clearly the products show on the pin pad for customers to preview their bill is showing 4 items. What kind of person insist we are not viewing 4 items on the pin pad rather than 3.... Meanwhile customer comes back cause she forgot another security lock (for the second time)... After all the concussion she gave her brain she finally depleted the bill and began to scan two items and i had to remind her there was a third, finally she is fully trained. Maybe the general manager can do a better job assisting their new employees. read more

One of the many reasons why we no longer have Mervyns around, Kohl's. This place has just about everything from clothes to jewelery, shoes, kitchen items, toys, house decor, you name it they have it. The prices are reasonable and when you get coupons in the mail you can really save some bucks. Staff is nice and they try to keep this place in decent shape. I found a nice Sharper Image radio/clock, cooking pans and a Snuggie for my wife. She asked for one, it wasn't my idea :o). I also found some cool DS games for my kids. You must be patient at this store because the lines get long especially during the holidays. Fortunately, the lines move fast and you can always strike a good conversation with people while waiting. read more
