The Christmas decorations were wonderful and this past weekend they had the Lunar New Year celebration, with many additional pop-up vendors in the street (closed off for pedestrians). We enjoyed walking, talking and exploring all the additional vendors and also the people (and dog) watching was top notch. Judging by the crowd turnout, I would say that this was a successful event, and I hope they add more events like this going forward. Many great restaurants, shops, craft stores and plaza entertainment. Water fountains and train rides for the kids (and some adults too). Whether you come here to dine, shop or just hang out and enjoy the weather with others, this place is a solid choice.

I arrived to pick up my online order only to discover they've merged the checkout line with the online order line make it make sense! It's supposed to be convenient not an inconvenience. I stood in line longer than I would have liked 27 min to be exact. Couldn't do anything about it but wait. Then the cashier had to leave the register to go to the back to look for for my order that took an additional 7 minutes because she forgot my name. All together I was in the store 34 min. Just letting you all know if you plan on ordering online you will have to wait like everyone else. I gave them 2 stars for having the items shipped right away.

Heather was patient in answering my questions about the eligibility of using multiple coupons. However, I ran into a problem using the coupons because my phone was acting up. If you don't do it yourself, then oh well, go shop someplace else. The clothes are all polyester now. Even from last holiday to this holiday the same exact T-shirt went from 65%cotton to 65% polyester. I returned it. I don't buy as many clothes anymore. They don't sell jewelry either. It was taken over by Sephora. I used to buy new earrings every month. It's been years now. Overall the service and lack of inventory keep me away. It's too bad because Chino has no other stores. Today in particular did bother me though. I feel like it's a fairly new thing that Walmart offers digital receipts instead of physical ones (maybe it's new or maybe I don't go to Walmart enough). Anyway I wasn't sure if I had to pull the digital receipt up for the lady by the exit to check. So I asked. She said It was fine and I assumed she was being nice because she saw my hands were full. As I proceeded to walk away after thanking her she said "but you're supposed to" under her breath with clear attitude. Honestly the only reason this bothered me is because she could've just told me yes and I would've pulled it out or she could've just held her breath and been annoyed to herself. There's no reason to be rude when you're upset with yourself for not complying to the rules. Especially after I asked. Other than that. This Walmart is always clean and it actually smelled really good in there today. Some positives I suppose.

A wonderful employee saw the pain my girlfriend's feet were in and overheard that we needed to get the movies. He offered to ring up the one item for us so that we could make our movie on time. If it wasn't for her being in pain and us being in a time crunch, we would have refused, but due to the circumstances we were extremely grateful. This Daiso was clean and organized. Aisles were well stocked. No restrooms available at least I didn't see one. Actually, I don't think Daiso ever had restrooms at any of their locations. I perused around the store to see what knick knacks they have. I'm always curious what merchandises they carry. You never know what you may find. It's a like being a kid in a candy store. I am amazed on the variety of goods from household items, school supplies, toys and plushies, food items and snacks, and so much more. I finally found the squeezies. I bought a couple plus a few sparkling drinks with cool characters on them and one earphone set. Prices were reasonable. They now offer self check-out which is convenient. There was one lady staff. The aisles are usually clean, things are organized, and it actually feels pleasant to shop here instead of rushed or chaotic. The staff are generally helpful, the store is well stocked, and it feels like they take pride in keeping this location in good shape. It might not be the newest or flashiest Target, but it has great energy, good selection, and a welcoming vibe. Proud to have this as my local Target. I always end up enjoying my trips here more than I expect to.
