Horrible customer service. I bought a $800 washer asked & still confirmed beforehand if someone would be able to help me load the washer into my truck because I would be picking it up with my mom, they assured me they'd help me. I drove 45 mins to this place & to only one guy taking it out saying he's not going to load it that my mom and I had to, so you're telling me you can take $800 from me but can't load load it! He expected me and my 65 yr old mother to load it. Ridiculous, especially after I confirmed before making my purchase. I already had to go one other time because they gave me a water filter with missing parts. Waste of my time and my gas. I came here because I was in need of a fridge desperately my credit is great but I'm not sure why this place came to mind as there are many other better stores to fiance kitchen equipment/ electronics. I paid about 500 plus the high interest rate of 36.99 percent of both items. The fridge didn't even last me 1 year ! I called to see if I could use the manufacturer warranty as the insulation strips were chipping off they then said It was expired and I had to purchase warranty through them at the time of purchase which I though was a scam in itself due to the ridiculous high interest rate . I then stupidly financed a ps5 after they made it seem like I would pay a flat rate amount each month but ended up paying double of what i owed monthly and ended up paying about almost 2000 for both items !! Im now 2 payments away from closing my account here permanently !! Overall My experience here has been HORRIBLE the customer service is trash the items at the store are very limited and outdated and way overpriced! This place in my opinion is doing illegal predatory practices to people with little to no credit by charging them up to 3-4x what the items are worth!! I gave a 3 star because they need to work on customer service. There is a sense of entitlement with employees; especially if you are not Hispanic. All customers should be treated with the same respect. It is not about what was said, it is about how you present yourself. If I walk around the store looking around, someone should ask, How can I help you or do you need help. If I say excuse to more than one employee, with no acknowledgement; as if they didnt hear me, I have a problem with that. It has happened more than one time and it is very annoying. The quality of the products are the same as anywhere else and the selection is good. Staff training and Management training is needed, because whomever is considered a roamer or if someone is walking around your department, you should ask people if they need help. read more

I have been a Curacao customer for 5 years I've never been late on my payments, never missed a payment and always paid the full amount due. I love this store for its variety and quality of their products. The thing I LOVE THE MOST IS the Management. I have had a few issues with a purchase, or an error in my account in the past and the Manager of Operations is JOSE. I've worked in Customer Service for over 15 years, I've been a Team Lead, and a Manager of Customer Service. He is hands down the best employee Curacao has. He is Professional, Courteous, Knowledgeable, and extremely patient. He went above and beyond the regular manager position's role many times for me but this last time he really STEPPED UP! I went to buy a Nintendo Lite and a game for my daughter for Christmas and the rude employee that helped me in the gaming dept told me I could not buy this, he informed me that I can ONLY buy a bundle with 2 games not 1. I questioned this a few times and decided to ask someone else. I can't see why I have to buy 2 games in order to get a handheld console and one game which is roughly $300?? I had to spend more to even purchase the console??? Did not make sense. I went to another area of the store and found another employee who said the manager of that dept was on lunch and he will go ask someone else. He walked right over to the same guy I asked to clarify. When returning he said yes Mam you have to buy 2 games not just 1. I was pretty irritated by this point and decided I would wait then. I decided to ask the manager in Operations who is Jose, by this time I've spent over a hour in the store and I'm tired. On my way to Jose I bought a new USB cable for my iPhone and when purchasing it at the front cashiers, it asked me for a $14 down payment. I've never had to pay a down payment in 5 years usually I add it to my credit card. Well it would not go through without the down payment. The girl called her team lead and he tried to fix it in the system and told me "No , you need to pay it's not working". I paid the $14 and went to the Customer Service Dept where I saw Jose ready to help. I explained the situation with him regarding the Nintendo and the game he was not aware of this and happily said " hold on a minute" , and came back with the exact color Nintendo and game that I requested. I explained about the down payment situation and he said let's check and he rang up my purchase and sure enough it came up he said he would call and have it removed he picked up phone called the dept who handles this and it was removed and my purchase was complete and corrected. This took all of 10 min total. It's the time and patience it takes to be a manager and he is the exactly the kind of manager that does his job, and cares about the customer. He did not have an attitude, he was not rude, he talked to me, he CARED!!! That is hard to find in any human being these days but in retail it's harder. I want JOSE to know that I APPRECIATE HIM, he is the reason that I can feel confident in my purchases, my credit, and my repairs, returns, or mystery error! You are TRULY A valued employee of that company and I hope that your boss and your bosses boss and the owners of Curacao all know what a ASSET you are to me and everyone you help. Please keep up the good work and thank you for staying POSITIVE in your attitude and patient with some difficult situations. read more

Curacao actually offers a great selection of name brand products. I find them to be a good source of name brand items, along with a new price match policy that actually is fair. The employees here are friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. The only issue at this location is the will call area. It can be slow as far as service is concerned. Aww man, i was hoping everything went smooth, but again I'm not surprised. I go into this store because I am a card holder, and I'm looking for a specific item, a bike for my sons Christmas gift. We ask a Gentleman for help and he seems to be bothered by the ask of help on our part so I tell him, thanks for the help, and walk away. Then I approach Ms. Katelyn or Kayleen, and her rude ass. Worst delivery service ever!!! We bought a bedroom set on June 13 and was told it would be delivered today, June 29. We never got a text saying when delivery would be so we called the store and they said delivery was July 20! Nobody notified us. We moved all the furniture out of our bedroom only to find out no furniture was coming. When we called to get help we were told there is nothing anyone can do and we have to wait until July 20. I would not have purchased the furniture if I knew delivery would take that long. Their customer service is horrible and not helpful at all.
