I bought a set of vehicle dollies got them home went to put them together and they're missing half the screws and washers, and the crown nuts supplied are all smashed. It was obviously a return and they didn't check to make sure everything was in there. Total incompetence again today this is the second time I'm complaining about harbor freight's this day. The staff is nice and the selection is vast. HOWEVER, the tools are disposable. That is, don't expect them to last. I purchased vice grips a year ago and they stayed inside the house, perhaps used once or twice. I pulled them out today and they are no longer working with rust and corrosion at the pivot points. The tools look nice, but it's the material composition that counts. Harbor Freight makes nice looking tools that sell! However, they are made of inferior materials, just like all the made in China crap out there. This is a brand new store and my first time there since I was in the area. There is plenty of parking but it is shared with an albertsons grocery store. The inside is nicely organized and they had plenty of staff wandering around in case you have any questions or assistance with bigger items. They also have enough cashiers so you don't have to stand in line like other locations. This is now the closest harbor freight to my place. Do not forget your coupons to get 20% off one item. At times for holidays, like Mother's Day,and long weekends, they offer up 25% off one item. They also have coupons to get free small items like flashlights, work gloves, and batteries wth any purchase. You could never have enough of those in your tool box, car or garage. This new location is definitely convenient for many and a welcome addition to the area. Harbor freight certainly provides more reasonable prices on many items than most other sources, and for most purposes the quality is perfectly acceptable. They regularly mail what they call "super coupons" one for 20% off any single item, and another one for a free item with any purchase, which is the type of item you can never have too many of, like screwdriver sets, flashlights and tape measures, making their already decent prices even more palatable. I had to retrain myself to start thinking outside the box to come here and spend only a fraction of what I would pay at the big home-improvement stores on many items. read more

So it was my first visit to HF, and the customer service was just lacking. When charging out with the cashier, Destiny, she signed me up with my phone number and information. And I willing gave it thinking I was making a rewards program account. But when I asked her if it was for rewards, she said it was only for keeping track of your receipts. So I specifically asked to not make my account anymore and to just remove my information. She said ok, but that wasn't the case because I got emails from HF the next day. As a customer, you would like your requests to be heard, but now HF has my street address for no reason. And the 2 guys helping me load my items in the car were just not friendly people. I went to Lowe's right after and the customer service was like night and day. The Lowe's workers went above and beyond to help me, and I did not get that here at HF. read more

This is one of the cleanest HF stores that I have been to in the Inland Empire very neat and very organized I know it's China specials but some times you just have to suck it up and use whatever you can find to get the job done, I used to avoid this place in general not this location but HF in general do to the quality but lately they have really stepped up with the new brands and quality I'm a diesel mechanic and I use the brand name truck tools and I love my tools but HF is really stepping it up now I avoid this place cause I want to buy everything good job at this location highly recommend it read more

My fourth time at this location because I live in Chino. I have had two really bad experiences previously, I wanted them to order me a tool box and they said they could not! (Would not) I went to the Montclair store and talked to the manager and in two days, I had my new tool box. So started driving the distance. Well today I needed something quick so I decided to go to the Chino location again. As I stood in line a heavy set man was billing out a lady who asked for her 20% discount but had already deleted her text for the discount. So he brought up the discount on his phone and swiped her the discount. Well you know where I am going, I to had deleted my text with the discount on it. So I ask him for the discount and he refused even after I saw him give the girl in front of me one. I told him, what is it with this store, he said were all the same. Beautiful store with tons of tools and accessories to browse through. I was waiting for new tires to be installed on our truck down the block so I had a few minutes to kill. I love looking at tools and all of the other gadgets available to help you complete a job. This place has everything. This weekend they were having a big sale and they were pretty busy with a line at the register. Great for them and I hope they stay around for a while. Who doesn't love the smell of a new wrench?
