Hi! I needed a new nut to go on the bottom of my 1 7/8 inch ball. Somehow, I lost the one I had while hauling the trash trailer on the ranch. I thought getting one was going to be a cinch. Nope! I started at Home Depot, no luck. Then Tractor Supply. Shockingly no luck there either. Then it dawned on me... when all else fails, go to Ace Hardware! To increase my chances, I went to the Ace Hardware in Horse Town USA! If anyone was going to have trailer hardware, they would! Right? Not to be disappointed, I walked in and the friendly cashier asked if she could help me? I showed her what I needed. She said they had them in Hardware. Go to the back of the store and someone will be there to help me find them. I showed the nut I needed to the gentleman who met me on the isle indicated and he was like, Of course, we have those.". He took me to a cabinet full of nuts and pulled out the one I need! It was great service. No hunting through all the drawers myself. What a time saver! You may pay a little bit more for what you buy at Ace Hardware. But, the service and the fact they probably have the unusual thing you need, more that makes up for the slightly higher price! This is by far the best Ace Hardware store I've visited. I under that each Ace Hardware location is independently owned and operated. However, the Norco one stands out because of the following 3 factors: friendly staff, knowledgeable customer service, competitive pricing. I've shopped here several times, but I decided to leave a review today because of the charcoals. I was at a different Ace Hardware store to buy charcoals, but it marked up the item by 45% compared to the online pricing. I asked if they can match the price and was told no. So I called the Norco store, confirmed the availability and pricing, which was exactly at the online price. And now I'm walking out with 3 bags AND some wood chunks. No fuss, no muss. Even if this is not the closest Ace Hardware near you, you might wanna call this store and talk to a friendly and knowledgeable staff to get what you need at a fairly competitive price point. Cash register makes you think that she is doing you a favor, bad customer service.. I needed a new window screen and what I picked up is not precisely what I ordered . It seems the measurements they took are incorrect, or when they cut the aluminum for the frame was a little short, what I got is smaller screen. read more

I needed 2 set screws for a Kwikset Dead Bolt. They are smaller than a grain of rice. The only Locksmith in the Corona-Norco did not carry them but recommended Ace Hardware in Norco on Hamner. Best advice possible! Jim was friendly, polite and professional. He spent considerable time coming up with the correct part and apologized for the time it took! Jim has the skills AND the attitude to help, and he resolved my concern. He certainly lived up to the (old) "Ace is the place with the helpful folks". My dad had an issue a little over 1.5yrs ago with an extremely rude associate in the store which i personally witnessed. Since that day my dad vowed never to give ACE/Norco his business ever again. I spoke to the owner about it and she said it would be handled. Approx 2 weeks ago my cousin was doing a project for me and he needed a part. Instead of driving to the big box store he goes to ACE/Norco. He came back home so angry and empty handed. I asked what happened and he proceeds to tell me how the old white guy was chicken hawking him in the aisle as if he was waiting for him to steal something but never askimg if he needed assistance. He got frustrated and put everything down and walked out. Off to home depot we went. I proceeded to tell him my dads experience to which he responded, you know ill never go back to that store either. I went in today to have my slider door rescreened. I brought my dog since we were going to the park afterwards. I unloaded the door from my truck then got my dog out of the truck. The door is about 6.5 ft so I had to use both hands and hold the leash at the same time. I hadn't really thought it through but wasn't going to leave my dog in the truck. As I approached the front door an employee ran to me and took the screen out of my hands and carried it to the back for me. I was so impressed with this young man and the other employees. I thanked him but I don't think he realized how much it meant to me. Just wonderful service! read more

If you read the review I just submitted on the Ace Hardware store in Corona, you'll see that I bought this same product there and returned it. But while I really wanted that hose, no way was I going to pay 50% more for it at the Corona Ace Hardware store. So I bought it online off Ace's site. A week later they called me and told me it was in, very politely. I went out the next day and picked it up. No problem and with great customer service. And because I had read Yelp reviews that say that Ace is rude, racist or whatever bad things (including not allowing you to walk around in their store seeing what they sell), I walked every isle. I was asked just once if there was something I was looking for. When I said "no, just looking" the Ace person said "take your time". I found their store to be very clean, parts neatly organized. This contrasts greatly to what you see in many big brick-and-mortar stores in the Plumbing/PVC Parts areas. It should be noted that I bought online and just picked up the product I paid for a week earlier. But my advice on the Corona store should probably be heeded on the Norco one. Get the price online and then confirm it with the Ace you want to buy it from. By developing a work-around strategy on my hose I saved 50%. A little inconvenient for me but I consider myself a thoughtful consumer. Hope my reviews help you. read more

Ever since management refused to enforce the mask requirement back in May and June, I have taken my business elsewhere. The Ace Hardware in Corona strictly enforces all COVID-19 safety meadures, and they are a nice group of people working there. They get my money instead of Norco Hatdware. read more

I go here regularly. I am usually amazed that they have what I want in a little store, but sometimes they don't. That's ok. My only complaint are their hours, sometimes I need something when they are not open and I have to head to Lowes or Home Depot, usually early in the morning. Helpful, knowledgeable, and much quicker than driving elsewhere. read more

Only giving 5 stars because of Joe and his professional customer service. I went to go look for screws and needed assistance finding the particular screw. I arrived at the screws, but was overwhelmed and unsure what to get. After asking an employee with a white beard, the way he answered was unprofessional, he just pretty much said idk, and to try a bunch of screws. At that point I was ready to 1 star and head to home depot where they would actually help me. luckily Joe caught me on my way out and asked if i was finding everything okay. I said no and the guy previously was no help. Joe took the time to help me find which screw i needed without spending hours in the store. That is the difference between a 1 star customer service rating and a 5 star. understand you are the "experts", know your customers, and don't assume we know or we will be able to find what we are looking for. I will never again shop at this business. On small business Saturday, I went to this establishment and tried to use a coupon that was issued by Ace Hardware. The coupon was good only on this particular Saturday and offered 50% off any one item. I chose my item and went to the cashier with my coupon. THEY REFUSED TO ACCEPT MY COUPON. Why? you ask. The owner of the store stated that the coupon would make the item cost me less than he paid for it. He offered to allow me to pay for it at FULL PRICE. Not even an offer to have me pay his cost, but FULL PRICE or nothing. Isn't a 50% off coupon expected to make the item at or below the retailer's cost? Wasn't Black Friday and Small Business Saturday a good day to get deals. Apparently not at this establishment. I will never shop at this store again. read more

We called up before travelling all the way down here to see if they had a certain thing that we needed, they told us if we brought the old one with us they would help as they have it in stock, so we came down and the staff were extremely rude, did not even show us to the section of the shop the part was in, basically told us to go to an electrical store that wasnt even open. Why tell us you have something then make us go down there to be rudely spoken to. Very obnoxious. Will never be going back. I was at this store today. It was a very bad experience due to the employees that work here. First of all, when I asked an employee for help, he responded "What do you want?" with a horrible demeanor as if I had totally annoyed him. He was heavyset older man with glasses. I was willing to let it go. then I was going to pay for my stuff, when the cashier named Jackie TOLD me she didn't have the price for the bolts I was purchasing and I had to go get the price myself. Again, with this attitude as if I was asking for the stuff for free. I said "no, I'm not" and left the stuff there. I will never go to this store again and will definitely let people know not to patronize either. I live in Norco and try to help my community by buying around here. I'm not sure if this was b/c I'm Mexican, but it sure felt like discrimination. They don't want my $, I don't need to give it to them. read more

Just returned home after trying to buy some mineral spirits, which they didn't have (probably due to CA regulations) I picked up paint thinner and turpentine. I read the cans and could not tell which one was best for my use. I then asked the young man at the counter who got a deer in the headlight look on his face which is fine. I then looked for one of the 2 older gentlemen working. I found one and he was with another customer. He said one moment. I stood with the 2 cans In my hand and waited. At that time there was 2 other customers in the store. One being helped by the other guy and a family looking at various items. I waited by the counter at which time the other guy came by looked right at me as I started to raise the cans and ask which one, he raced past me and went to the paint section. An older guy walks in approaches him asks him a question, which he answers the turns away from me again as I approach, and starts messing with paint cans. I then walked up to the other guy who looks right at me and walked over to another guy that just walked in and starts talking with him. At this point after 10 minutes of chasing them around I gave up. I have shopped here many many times and have never been rebuffed like this. Of course my husband wasn't with me so maybe that had something to do with it. Very disappointed. read more

The staff here are always helpful and friendly. I use them a lot for their paint because they still sell oil based paint which is not available at any other DIY stores like Home depot or Lowes because of the new California regulations ( they only sell water based paint ). The way how they get around this is they can only sell it in quart sizes not in gallons. They will custom mix the colors by hand and it usually takes them a bit of time to get it spot on so you have to be patient, and make sure you keep a record of the formula in case you need more. read more

Went to the local hardware store today to get a few things and as i walked in I was greeted kindly. The place was a little busy and as I walked through the store I saw two older gentlemen standing in the back, talking, even when they saw me they just kept talking. I kept walking and the one girl there walked up and helped me and got me what I needed, all the while the other workers just stood there. This place has some kind people and great advice, got what I needed but next time I will make sure to choose who I want to help me. read more

I don't know what it is about this place, but everyone working there is so friendly and helpful. It's a small store but they usually have what I need to buy. They do window screening for a fair price. Pay a little extra for the pet safe screening as that works very well if you have pets. The cats can't tear it and it's very durable. It also is dark so it gives s bit of privacy. They make keys here too. It's nicer than going to a huge hardware store and scavenging around to find what you want and rarely finding an employee knowledgeable or willing to help. You'll probably pay a few cents more, but not much and it's worth it to avoid the hassle. Especially if you just need one or two items. read more
