The technicians and receptionist do not communicate well. when I explained the issue, the technician did not seem to understand what needed to be done which were two issues, i had to call back to follow up because on issue was fix but another issue was not addressed, the service was also significantly delayed. An appointment was scheduled but the technician did not show up and i was not given any notice about the delay or when someone would actually arrive. This was extremely inconvenient and caused me to wait without knowing what was happening. overall, i was very disappointed with the communication, scheduling and customer service. I feel that there was little consideration for the customer's time and needs. unfortunately based on this experience I would not use this company again. read more

I was able to get an electric stove the same week. The installer was running behind schedule, but overall, it was a good experience.

I have use them to repair both my "vintage" Kemore dryer and a Samsung refridgerator. Always polite, and prices are fair.

I want to be fair here so this is only my experience. Look for other reviews to be fair. Young guy shows up. Doesn't really look at anything. Asks a question: gives an opinion on the first question. 3 or 4 questions later he had 3 and 4 changes to what should be fixed. Gladly paid him his trip charge after all he did come out, company car and his time. So it was fair to pay him. I don't feel like I received any professional opinion. Waste of time. Just buy a new one, I was hoping for a fast fix so I didn't have to wait for a new one. read more

Not recommend this company at all. Not only unprofessional, also no response at all after the incident. The water dispenser hose was broken, the repair guy cut the hose at the edge of the fridge door while he knew the hose is integrated with door, and told me to replace the fridge door. I called them many times in two weeks, never gave me a solution. read more

Emmanuel's was my second call as the first company could not seem to obtain the correct Belt after one week. Carlos came the next day after I called, assessed the situation, and said the belt was special and would take up to 5 days to arrive. When it did, returned and in 10 minutes I had a dryer again! Early March our freezer was going out... I went to Yelp to look for a repair company.. Emmanuel Appliances had mostly great reviews and a few low reviews. I overlooked the low reviews. Scheduled a service appointment, the dispatch girl was very friendly and helpful, with availability the next day! The technician Abraham arrived, very professional. Checked the fridge and freezer temp to be 0, upon taking the back cover off, he found the copper tubing to have been leaking... all Freon gone. He didn't have copper tubing on his truck to fix it that day. No problem. He came back the next day with all the parts he needed . Replaced the tubing, cleaned all of the dust off the back cover, the fan and lines. Very satisfied with his knowledge, professionalism and friendliness! 2 days ago we noticed our ice cream was soft, a few other items partially defrosted. The milk in the refrigerator wasn't ice cold. I called yesterday to report the problem, they scheduled a return service call first thing the next day! The same technician Abraham arrived 3 hours before the scheduled time. Checked the temperature of both. It wasn't where it should be but wasnt at zero. He suggested the relay might have gone out. He unplugged the refrigerator first and few minutes and upon plugging it back in he heard a noise. This time he found the relay had gone out, he removed it and shook it... he said this sounds like maracas. He replaced the relay and capacitor and it turned right on, humming! No charge for the service call today! I highly recommend Emmanuel Appliances and Abraham!!!! Sometimes the few low reviews should be overlooked and give the business a chance for yourself! read more

After a blackout, my dryer was having issues with not heating up despite it turning on and spinning but my clothes were still wet. I was referred to Emmanuel Appliances (by Cagles) when I needed service on my Kenmore Elite but Cagles said my model was LG even though it was branded Kenmore and they didn't do LG products. Carlos called 20 minutes before arriving on the day I had scheduled the appointment. He was neatly dressed and arrived quickly. The issue with my dryer was that an electronic component moisture sensor went bad. The part was $28 and the total price with labor and installment was under $150. He also checked the duct. He completed the job within a hour and the place was left clean, he was willing to answer and questions my family and I had. read more

My microwave oven went out and after doing some research, I discovered the problem was possibly a fuse. I usually get my parts at Cagle's but since they closed permanently, I went with Cagle's recommendation of shopping at Emmanuel's. The gentleman checked my old fuse and determined it was blown. I returned the part to Ruben who was working the register. he gave ma a receipt back and said you would be refunded. now a month later and a few phone calls, their explanation for no refund is shortage of staff and back log. Apparently, EA took over Cagle's repair service. What a (negative) difference. First of all, this company's communication skills are really lacking. Repair person came out to fix large burner on a GE stovetop. After trying everything, told us we needed a whole new burner, about $175+installation. Said they had to order part. When I finally called them to find out what was going on, I was told they could not get part-- that I had to buy one on the internet from a 3rd-party vendor+they would install it. Btw, I had paid the service-call fee. After the part number they gave me didn't match anything on the internet, I called a different, big-name, repair service. The guy fixed it in about 5 minutes. Works perfectly. In our opinion, these people are not trustworthy. And, the new guy didn't charge us the "repair" fee -- just the "diagnostic" fee. Save us over $100. Needed my ice machine fixed. They gave an insane window of 10-2, so I had to take a day off work. They came and didn't even bring the right ice machine. So they had to come back the next day, so I had to take another day off work. They installed the ice machine but then it didn't even work. I called that night but they didnt return my call until the afternoon of the next day. So I had to take ANOTHER day off work with a window of 11-4. You would think that because they messed up the repair, we would be a priority. We were not. They called around 11 saying that they didn't have the part. So I took the day off from work to wait for a repair that isnt happening. Then they said I would have to take off work again for them to install and I wouldn't even be the first appointment. Not reliable. Not trustworthy. Does not value its customers or even give them good service. I had to take 3 days off work for a simple repair, and it's still not even repaired after a week. And now I have to take another day off trying to get this fixed. read more
