    So, it was time for an upgrade for a couple of numbers on my accounts because simply put, we were due. To make a long story short, I go online to put in the orders. I even chatted with Amy, the agent, who put the whole thing together for me. She even made it clear that transfers from both phones can be done at the store. (This was vital because I planned on going out of town and needed that done STAT.) I asked this more than enough times to probably annoy her. She guaranteed the transfers by the end of the day. So, off I drove to this store to pick up the units. With me are the two older units with data to be transferred to the new ones. Nope. I was just handed a bag and instructions on how to do the transfer. I didn't catch my sales' name, but I told him I was assured earlier during the online purchase that the transfer can be done at the store immediately. He tells me they no longer do that. "No other store will does it anymore either." Unenthusiastically. Blank look and all. Didn't really have a choice, so I took the new phones home and stored them in a corner for a bit. With lack of time to do the "transfers" since I was going out of town for the weekend, activation had to wait a few days. Not really sure who to put the blame on this, but it's done. The only thing that kinda irked me a bit was the lack of customer service. He just didn't seem like he wanted to be there, much less kinda give a little more reassurance. He kept referring to the written instructions on the how-to. It's almost like he was eager to get us outta there, satisfied or otherwise. (It's the latter for me, in case I didn't make that clear.) I did all the transferring on both units. Hit a few snags, but all good to go now. Parking is shared with other businesses, so it's hit and miss. It can be an issue. It has been awhile, but customer service at the store located on Hawthorne/Artesia was far better. I might just do future transactions with them instead.

He gave me a complimentary cleaning since I got a privacy screen, and now people can hear me speak on the phone clearly and I don't have to use earphones to take a phone call!! Honestly couldn't believe how quick they were able to fix it, I was dealing with this issue for months and thought I would need to get a new phone, so so happy it's all good now. I appreciate that they were communicative and clear both about pricing and timing. I couldn't be happier with the service I received and would return if I need another repair. I'd trust these guys with all my electronics!!

Mr. Sardor, this was definitely the store I went to and speaking of, you're on the corner of Crenshaw and Artesia. There is no "report" because one was never done or was spoken about. And this "date base" of yours is non-existent, you guys didn't even ask for my name or anything beyond my phone number to call me when my phone was ready. Please don't make me a liar here by saying you have no such name on your "data base" and that it was another store that I'm speaking of. I will say this, it's possible that you don't purposely not fix the issue so that the customer can return. So maybe you just don't fix it correctly because of lack of knowledge, idk.... but what I do know is that it wasn't fixed correctly.

I decided to go all in and check out the iPhone 13 with loads more memory than I was working with before. One question was what kind of deal could they cut me and which branch should I go to. I had switched my service from AT&T (they are the devil!) to T-Mobile at the Harbor Gateway and they had treated me well but I saw the Gardena location by Vons had a high Yelp rating too and was closer. I figured it was worth a try. I could always go back to the other location if I didn't like their service. My wife and I were cheerfully greeted by Brenda Hernandez who was soooo helpful. I knew this was the right place. I was able to save a decent amount of money (not a huge amount since my phone was an oldie but a moldy) which would be paid monthly along with our bill. I actually wanted to pay the total all at once but I guess that's how they do things. Brenda assisted me in some of the basic operational differences between the 6 and the 13 and patiently went through the process of data and app transfer and deleting the contents of my old phone. We ran into a glitch but she figured out it was due to the VPN on the 6 so we were able continue without any further hiccups. This is a very convenient location to get to because it's at the end of the shopping center near Rocket Cleaners so you don't have to deal with the Vons traffic and limited parking. I would enter from the West side on Normandie past 155th going northbound if you want to avoid most of the shopping center traffic and the rather large number of stupid drivers and pedestrians glued to their cellphones oblivious to those stupid drivers who would subject them to a hit and run without batting an eye. Park out by the Rocket building or the California Bank and Trust for the quickest entry and exit unless you just HAVE to hit the Starbucks for that pumpkin spice latte. Don't forget. Ask for Brenda at T-Mobile. This is not a paid commercial announcement : )

I agreed and said I would come in on the 8th. A few days later, I messaged to reschedule to the 15th. The owner replied on Yelp that it was fine. On the morning of the 15th, I texted my arrival time a few hours in advance, to which he never replied. I arrived at the shop with my laptop, and the employee working said there was no order for me, which was confusing because the owner had been so communicative. He said he would order the part and it would be there later that week and I agreed to come back. I got a text confirmation with my order number and everything. Fast forward a week and a half: silence. Nothing. I replied to the order confirmation text asking if it had arrived, and I don't know if it went through or not, but it's just weird they wouldn't have the part by now or some kind of update. I gave up, bought a kit on Amazon for $35, and installed it myself in 10 minutes. I don't know where this project fell apart, but if the shop didn't want to take it on, they could have declined it. I'm just confused by lack of follow-through because they have so many good reviews, and I thought I had done everything I could, both in person and online, to confirm I wanted the service.
