I came here for a simple phone service. There are 3 sales people in here. I have been here for 30 minutes? They have not gotten no one out of here yet? I really don't understand what is going on. There are six people waiting to be helped. I've been here before and much faster service. Someone spoke to me about the wait. There was no change in shift. I don't know why the service is so bad. It is unfortunate that customer services have been on a steep decline. I went into a T-Mobile store to pickup a replacement phone for my granddaughter, only to be turned away. They are more interested in forcing you into an early upgrade, rather than allowing you to use the insurance plan that was purchased for a replacement. Too many regulations are in place where it only favors the company, not the customer. In addition, when stepping into the store in Gardena, 1290 W Redondo Beach Blvd., the place reeked of a pot dispensary. Someone was smoking pot, and although it is legal, should not be consumed or smoked while on the job. read more

My Mom is in my account and we were due for an upgrade. I previously had Verizon before but their offers (trade-ins, plans and fees) aren't as enticing, and with a few friends and relatives who has had T-Mobile for awhile saying they liked it, I came through to check them out. Long story short: we had a fantastic deal walking out of here. Molla and Pedro went all out for the deal we got: not only did we get better plans but we also took home two new iPhone 12 ProMax's AND we got to keep our old phones for only $20 more than what we were paying with our old service. (We had Verizon before and we had limited data and they would take our old phones away valued less than what they were originally offering here. Their plans were also much more expensive.) Sure, we were going to be contracted for 2 years, but it wasn't a deal breaker. Pedro was even nice and patient enough to transfer all the info from our old phones to the new ones. It took a minute, but the wait was worth it. Oh, and T-Mobile Tuesdays made the deal even sweeter. So far so good with the phone service (signal everywhere!) I'm glad we made the move. Located off Redondo Beach Bl in Gardena next to Vons. Parking is shared with other businesses in the plaza. Came here due to the good reviews. The store is nice. Was greeted by all the employees working there. Joesph helped me at first cause his shift was ending answered all my questions and even help start the process of me switching from AT&T. I didn't have my mom's phone with me so I had to go home to get it so Joesph would hand me off to another worker there so I came back Joesph was still there so we started the process then he had to leave and Anna finished up the process. We got into a little hiccup cause I didn't have a pin from AT&T but Anna helped me and was able to find it after that it was smooth sailing. Thank you to both Joesph and Anna for their help making this process flow. Overall had a good experience here. read more

DO NOT GO TO THIS STORE !!!!. i went to get a simple upgrade and had all the intention to transfer the rest of my lines from verizon to tmobile and definitely , is not gonna happen . First the customer service agent had zero customer service skills , no simple conversation to probably uncover extra needs or opportunities ., Anyway went ahead and proceed to make the payment for the new phone with my debit card , the agent asked me to swipe my card twice because the system was not working .... then the agent said " ohhh system not working cash only " ..so we said ok , we will bring cash ... went to my bank and the transactions were processed , we called the store and they said that probably it was just a temporary hold and that the funds will be released the next day .... we said ok " worst mistake ever !!!" we took the cash and got the phone . AS OF TODAY JAN062025 ... its been chaos ... the transactions went through so i am missing over 1100 from my account . Called the store on sat jan042024 and the representative that picked up just said that her corporate did not have the transactions and they dont have record of the money and that i have to deal with my bank .( my bank confirmed that the funds were paid to tmobile and that they are supposed to issue a refund ) ..btwy Another agent with zero customer service skills, zero empathy and just an attitude . . I have to say that i was extremely nice and understanding because i do work for customer service and i do understand but there are ways to address this type of situations in a more professional way. After reaching the point where my iPhone 6 wouldn't update some of my important apps, it was time to breakdown and buy a new phone. I decided to go all in and check out the iPhone 13 with loads more memory than I was working with before. One question was what kind of deal could they cut me and which branch should I go to. I had switched my service from AT&T (they are the devil!) to T-Mobile at the Harbor Gateway and they had treated me well but I saw the Gardena location by Vons had a high Yelp rating too and was closer. I figured it was worth a try. I could always go back to the other location if I didn't like their service. My wife and I were cheerfully greeted by Brenda Hernandez who was soooo helpful. I knew this was the right place. I was able to save a decent amount of money (not a huge amount since my phone was an oldie but a moldy) which would be paid monthly along with our bill. I actually wanted to pay the total all at once but I guess that's how they do things. Brenda assisted me in some of the basic operational differences between the 6 and the 13 and patiently went through the process of data and app transfer and deleting the contents of my old phone. We ran into a glitch but she figured out it was due to the VPN on the 6 so we were able continue without any further hiccups. This is a very convenient location to get to because it's at the end of the shopping center near Rocket Cleaners so you don't have to deal with the Vons traffic and limited parking. I would enter from the West side on Normandie past 155th going northbound if you want to avoid most of the shopping center traffic and the rather large number of stupid drivers and pedestrians glued to their cellphones oblivious to those stupid drivers who would subject them to a hit and run without batting an eye. Park out by the Rocket building or the California Bank and Trust for the quickest entry and exit unless you just HAVE to hit the Starbucks for that pumpkin spice latte. Don't forget. I made a iPhone 14 pro max purchase in nov 28,2022 but had the phone sent to my house. It's been almost two months and I haven't received nothing yet phone is supposedly lost T-Mobile blames ups and then ups blames T-Mobile but I can't get my money back according to T-Mobile until phone is found.
