I was told my activation fee would be waived, I'd get an extra $20 discount, and internet equipment would be ready in 2 days. I purchased 4 phones and was charged $60 tax per line ($240 total)--but I was not given a receipt for that payment. The only receipt I received was for $0 down on internet. When I returned, the story changed: I was told the First Responders discount didn't apply, there would be no hotspot, and the price would be $159/month even with the discount. The store manager, Marco, refused to call customer service for clarification or cancel my service. Because of the conflicting information and missing receipt, I filed formal complaints with the FCC, BBB, and the Arizona Attorney General. I strongly recommend getting everything in writing and verifying discounts before paying.
