I brought in my husband's boots to get the epoxy done since the toe area of the boots were coming apart after 4 months. Picked them up today to find that they completely undid the stitching of the steel toe area on the right boot. I brought it to their attention that it definitely was NOT like that when I brought them in yesterday. All I got was "well I wasn't here when you brought them in, so...." LOL SO WHAT? the boot didn't have a ripped thread there. I have worked in customer service for 10+ yrs. Could've been handled differently. I would've issued a refund for this poor work and attitude. She was rude and yeah, I gave it right back. Wont be coming back to this store. read more

Been coming to this store for years, it has gone to crap. No one gives a shit here or even tries to make an effort. Socks are not for life any longer???? What the heck? WORST Specialty shoe store in Phoenix! I stopped by this store last Saturday (18 October) afternoon. I need to have my feet measured because my employer is going to order us some red wing boots. I have never worn RW boots before and wanted to try a couple of pairs on. I needed to get my size and model number from the store so that I could pass it on to my supervisor. The salesman started giving me a hard time about trying on boots. Said he needed to know the exact specifics of my employer before he would just "start dragging out boots". I demanded to have my feet measured. The salesman said to step on the machine all while sitting behind the counter. The machine spat out a number and the guy just looked at me. Long story short after a few minutes of back and forth I finally convinced the guy to just let me try on a boot. He brings a pair out and proclaims they are my most popular style. They looked like clown shoes for which I said out loud. The salesman got offended. I tried on one more boot and then left the store without so much as a thank you or we look forward to serving your needs! Worst experience I've had in a specialty shoe store! Store hours are like bankers hours so it's tough to go unless it's a Saturday. But today I went in asking to buy another pair of the same shoe I already have and asking to have my foot measured. The guy working held up his thumb and pointer finger a few inches apart and said your about this big how a about that for a measurement. He then proceeded to tell me he doesn't carry these shoes anymore because of quality or something but instead of helping me order them or showing me something else I might like he told me the store on the other side of town might have them and that was pretty much the end of the conversation. I don't have time to go over to this other place and was pretty irritated about how short, rude and unhelpful this guy was. I guess I'll just be looking for different options for now. read more

The man who helped us today was very sweet, but he really needs someone else in the store with him. Not that he isn't polite, helpful, or knowledgeable. Oh no, he's all of those things and more. His smile never left his face and he was great about trying to attend to each and every customer at once. But for one person to have to attend to at least five different customers at a time when all of them need to be fitted and given different sizes and attention, it's a little overwhelming. Even I was feeling overwhelmed by the amount of multi-tasking the poor man had to do and I don't even work here! Especially when its a weekend! He did wonderfully, but because it was only him in the store people could only just sit and wait and that's not good business. If he had a partner it would be much better. Just a suggestion. Other than that the store is nice and clean, and the merchandise is fabulous! And of course, the man working at the front is top notch! read more
