A friend of mine turned me into this store. I kept noticing how cute her sandals and boots were and she told me she shops at Shoe Thrill. I was never a fan of the "comfort" shoe offerings at department stores and the mall. This store has REAL European style comfort shoes in fashionable styles. You wouldn't recognize them as typical comfort shoes (except for the Birkenstocks). I have fallen in love with Arcopedigo sandals and Fly London wedges. I bring my mother who is older, has small narrow feet and is somewhat of a difficult customer. Shoe Thrill's seasoned staff has never failed to find her what she is looking for with lots of patience and product knowledge. She's thrilled to find brands she wore and loved for 30 years like Josef Seibel and Romika here. We attended a Trunk Show and they shipped her order to her home in New Mexico. She usually buys 3-4 pairs a couple of times a year. Locally owned and operated, this store frequently sends out special deals, usually around holidays. They give back to the community through these deals too. My first time here, I brought in a pair of gently used dress shoes (for donation to a charity) and was given a sizable discount towards purchase of new shoes. My husband and I stopped in this morning to get some shoes for an upcoming.trip. Carissa and her associate brought out numerous pairs of shoes for us to try. Their customer service went above and beyond what you would find in most shoe stores. We both found the right fit and best comfortable shoe that met our needs. Carissa carries only top quality shoes, and for someone like me that has to have comfortable shoes, I'm willing to pay extra for good quality. Looking forward to returning. read more

I came in last Tuesday around noon. I couldn't even get the Girl out on the floor to say Hi. She just stood there and didn't even reply when I commented how windy it was outside. I walked around and looked at shoes but she never offered to get me any to try on. Finally I went up to the Girl who was busy behind the counter and asked her to help me. To her credit she came right out and went and got the shoes I wanted to try. She gave me my space but came back and talked to me and offered to get another size. The other Girl picked up the shoes I did not want and went in the back to put them away but still never smiled or talked, weird. There was no mention of proper fitting or proper care like mentioned in other reviews. No mention of new brands or styles like mentioned in other reviews. Luckily I am familiar with the brand I bought since the staff was not knowledgeable like the Owner is. It is a shame the Owner cannot be there all the time but I understand that is not feasible. read more

I was attending a conference at the San Marcos Hotel in downtown Chandler. Whenever I attend a conference, I like to get out and explore the local businesses, even if the conference is in a suburb of my very own city. So, when the sessions ended @ 5 p.m. on Thursday, I went strolling through Chandler's very charming downtown. Because women are biologically programmed to be unable to walk past a shoe store, I stopped into Shoe Thrill, because, happily, they stay open until 8 p.m. I was like a kid in a candy store! They'd just gotten in a bunch of fall inventory, and the brands they carry are brands I love! I fell in love with a pair of Allegrias that were 50% off, and they had them in my size. I wanted to wait until my paycheck was direct deposited, so I promised to come back the next day. When I returned on Friday, the staff remembered me, and brought over the shoes I wanted. I shopped a bit more, and purchased two more pairs of shoes. One of them was a pair of black nubuck Olukai loafers I've wanted for a while. I'd seen them in the Terry catalog and REI online, but I really like to spend my money locally, whenever possible. They are amazingly comfortable. I am happy with all of my purchases. Shoe Thrill has an fantastic inventory of gorgeous shoes and boots. Service was friendly and casual. They also carry some purses, hats, and jewelry. I live downtown Phoenix, but I will willingly travel to Chandler to shop @ Shoe Thrill again. read more

I love Shoe Thrill. My daughter lives in the area and once when visiting I found this store. That was three years ago. I was able to go twice and then Covid hit. So I patiently waited until I could return, hoping against hope that it would still be there. And it was! They have a great selection of brands that are high quality, fashionable, and comfortable. My fave Independent stylish comfort shoe store. Have shopped here twice. Saleswoman Juliana is particularly good at bringing out other options if they don't have your size in your first choice. I have always been a buy sneakers on discontinued rack or sale rack! When I posted about my knee pain on FB the owner contacted me! Fit me with s great pair of Mellor shoes! I'd never heard of them before! They supported my arch and made me stand correct! As promised, I made the trek to Shoe Thrill sans the hubby. What I thought would be a looooooooooong process because their selection is huge, was not long at all. Why? It gets down to great customer service. I knew what I wanted when I went in. Cute comfy summer sandals in black and in a neutral color. Because of a foot ailment, I have to have supportive arches and a comfortable shoe. I walked in and scoped it out. My eyes were bouncing everywhere. Too many beautiful shoes to adore. Focus, focus, I said out loud. The sales girl, Hannah, asked what I was looking for and she came back with a stack of shoe boxes. Wow! Has she got great taste! The first pair I tried on I loved. It's a strappy black mid heel with soft leather and amazing support. The next one I tried on was a pair I had admired the year prior. I snagged both pairs. Perfect fit on both and oh so comfortable. I'm in shoe heaven. Not sure I need to go anywhere else for shoes ever again. Yes, the can be a bit pricey, but if my feet don't feel good, I don't feel good. You're gonna love this place! However, if you are looking for Olukai sandals, Shoe Thrill had a wide variety of styles and different sizes. I thought their prices were a bit on the high side and they did not seem to have anything in my size. I've never bought really high quality, brand name comfort shoes before, and they assisted me with a variety of suggestions based on my personal style. The owner, Carissa, has a passion for shoes, and is very knowledgeable about the brands she sells, how the products fit, etc. After owning several shoes & boots from Shoe Thrill, I am sold on comfort. While waiting to meet some friends at San Tan Brewery, I wandered around the downtown square and popped into this new shop. According to the associate they have been open for about three weeks, and they specialize in stylish but comfortable shoes. They had a variety of shoe styles--ballet flats, boots, and clogs--along with some jewelry and handbags. Just amazing! My MIL recommended this store, she was right on. I'm three weeks recovering from a foot fracture, ready to start the transition out of my boot and into some regular shoes. I normally wear heels with my suits and I haven't been able to find dress shoes that look nice, are supportive and don't hurt. Came into Shoe a Thrill, was immediately helped by Hannah. She listened, asked a few questions and came back with at least ten different options. For a small store I was super-impressed. After some feedback she came back with another five options. I found not only a fabulous pair of flats but also an amazing pair of heels (for a few more weeks out). Prices were reasonable and they were running a sale. Was hard to only leave with two pairs. I had been in Shoe Thrill one other time, just looking, and made a mental note to go back when by myself. They have nice shoes and they are quality brands. I have foot pain so I don't care how much I have to spend as long as they look nice (I don't want ugly granny shoes) and are comfortable. I went in today and the young girl greeted me when I came in, asked me if I knew what I was looking for. I told her shoes in black so they go with my slacks, and be able to put in my arch supports (unless the shoe has good support on its own). Then that was it! She stood around looking like a doofus. She didn't offer to show me anything that would fit the bill or offer any suggestions. She didn't even ask what size shoe. I looked around for less than 5 minutes and left. What horrible service. That dingbat lost you a sale and any future sales. There is a store in Mesa that I can go to and I know they have good service. I just want some nice shoes to wear to work! read more
