Upon coming into the store preparing to buy new jeans for the winter since I've lost weight and I'm feeling confident but also nervous due to Covid, and then I was met by Denay. She was overbearing, too close for comfort during these times and repeatedly called me, "Girlfriend!," which felt like she was taunting my uncomfortableness even though that's giving her too much credit because she's clearly much too unobservant to notice things like body language. Besides the continued close proximity when other customers entered the store they weren't wearing their masks properly (below their noses) and kept pulling them down to talk to one another and DENAY HAD NOTHING TO SAY TO THOSE GIRLFRIENDS. I won't be back until Maurices can get their shit together and their employees keep their customers safe. read more
