This weekend, the 5.11 Tactical store of Chandler (more like Gilbert) held its grand opening. I had…read moremade a few trips before the official opening as this location is substantially closer to me than the Phoenix location. While the usual 5.11 fanfare was present for their grand opening, something was "off". I am a loyal 5.11 customer as every item I have purchased from them has surpassed my expectations and held up in travel to locations on the planet that are not kind to bags, boots, and suitcases. From the first time I walked into the Phoenix location, I was greeted with not only courtesy and professionalism but also real-life knowledge. That is what felt off about the new location; aside from it being smaller than the Phoenix location, it felt like a store. The employees, while courteous, didn't emit a vibe (or share information) that spoke to them living the lifestyle that is synonymous with 5.11 or conducive for tactical gear to be enjoyed in all its splendor. Despite the extra 20 minutes I would have to drive to reach the Phoenix location from my home (again, this new location is closer), I will continue to shop in Phoenix location. It has become home, and the staff family. If you truly want to maximize the 5.11 experience, head over to Phoenix and ask for either Quentin, David, or the manager, Ben De La Paz. These gentlemen are not simply there to sell items in a store; they are there to share with you how the tactical lifestyle is alive and well in today's society and how 5.11 gear leads the way.

I had only been to one Lululemon store before, but I was already at the Biltmore Fashion Park and…read morerealized I needed to run in to pick up a quick item at Lululemon and there was one right there. This was my first time at this location. The associates were very friendly and helpful, and while the products looked very nice and there were a variety of items in the store, the prices were quite high. Looking online in advance, I was surprised to see a nice black t-shirt with writing on it was $100. While the back portion of the store faces Camelback, you cannot enter or exit using a door on that side of the store. You need to enter from the courtyard in the middle of the Biltmore Fashion Park (north side of the store). It is open daily from 10 AM to 8 PM except on Sunday when they are open from 11 AM to 6 PM. In-store services include "Buy Online and Pick up in Store," "Like New," Returns & Exchanges, and Hemming. The store has women's and men's clothes and accessories, bags, and "we made too much" sale items. If you go to https://shop.lululemon.com, you can shop online, locate a store, and learn more about their free membership program (https://shop.lululemon.com/membership). Benefits include free hemming, partner perks, early access to product drops, exchange or credit on sale items, member-only experiences, receipt-free returns, and select Peloton classes. After you spent $500, you bump up to another tier where you now get exclusive access to products and a personal shopper. After spending $1000, you get first access to restocks and complimentary customization. Also, if you sign up for their e-mail list when visiting that website, you can get 15% off your first online order of full-priced items. Finally, it is worth noting that the American Express Platinum card now offers four $75 Lululemon credits (one per quarter), which will certainly get people who do not regularly shop at Lululemon to go into the stores for the first time. That includes me! Though I often see Lululemon items showing up at universities nowadays (though the price is too steep for the college students themselves but maybe not their families and alumni).

The store is expanding! Nice :)…read more I ordered online thru the app as I had a special discount code and received a text within a couple hours that my order was ready for pickup. Dropped by to get it and noticed they are remodeling- which is very welcome since it was quite small and this is a very popular shop. Super friendly staff and the quality of the product is well known. I do wish they didn't have have such sky high prices but they are popular and can price what they can get for sure. They also offer yoga classes in the park as well when it's not so hot so check that out if you like outdoor yoga. I've not attended but have been at the mall when they are having class and it's super popular. Make sure to check out their online category 'we made too much' if you want to catch a deal.

I visited this outlet store on 02 June 2019 AD. Full disclosure: I'm not into "hype" or "brand…read morenames". I used to buy only Nike brand shoes; however, a few years ago I tried the Asics "Gel" type running shoe suggested by a salesman, and I was hooked! No other shoe has felt so, "customized and comfortable". My workouts are more on the aerobic/calorie burning side with light strength training, and occasional cross country runs. This shoe works great for everything! I Googled "Asics" and found this outlet location. It used to be that outlet stores offered better pricing; I can't say that was the case here. What was nice, is they had a ton of different styles on hand. I'm +SO TIRED+ of going to a store only to hear a salesperson say, "Try our online store, they carry more styles/options." I get the whole, "inventory tax thing" but get with it people! What's the point of having a "brick-and-mortar location" if you don't offer the variety you advertise!?!? I believe the key advantage of an outlet store now is, that you can buy more of their product offerings in person per visit. You don't have to bother going to their website and waiting for your item to arrive. During my visit, a courteous salesman helped me with a new pair of "GEL-Nimbus 21" Mens Running Shoes and I was off. The service was great and the store was clean; I shall return if I'm still in the area when I need new running shoes. I recommend this outlet location to everyone - a solid 5 stars!
