Great skate shop with tons of boards and accessories. Grip tape was less than $10. Go here and not to a corporate skate shop. read more

Solid folk! Solid selection! Real shop shit, support! Everything legit with them...except the name‍

Chillest employees I have ever met, every time I go everyone is always super helpful and very nice. I came here a month ago since I was having problems with my wheels and the speed I was getting. I'm not knowledgeable with skateboards at all so the employees took apart my board to find the root of the issue. They said there was nothing wrong but they suggested I got wider wheels so I wouldn't slip and die when I go over cracks or asphalt. They recommended some wheels and then one of the employees let me borrow his board! I'm ngl I was so heart-warmed so I went out the store to test out the wheels on his board. Moment I threw down that board I started flying bro. The speed and how I could barely feel the tiny bumps on the ground was amazing, the wind in my face was perfect too. I shit you not I legit felt reborn. I ran back into the store and bought the exact wheels he used and they even put on the new wheels for me on my board. I love this place and the community so much, this is gonna be corny but it's like a second home for me. I'm so grateful for the kindness they showed me and I totally recommend coming here! read more

Staff helpful and plenty of boards to choose from. My daughter had to replace her board and the staff walked her through her options and then put grip tape and trucks on the new board. read more

Never been in this store - only an online customer BUT the staff I spoke to on the phone was helpful and tried their best! They knew I was an online customer and knew that they *probably* couldn't help me/get the answer I needed, but regardless they spoke to their manager and went the extra step. I respect that :) also...free shipping. thank you Cowtown Skateboards team! read more

Went here with my husband so he could get a new skateboard. The employees were so helpful and friendly in helping him pick it out! The store has a wide selection and very knowledgeable guys behind the counter! read more

This is the go-to skate shop for GCU students, and for good reason. They're the best. All of the staff are super nice and knowledgeable. I showed them my super scrappy skateboard and asked them to make it turn better and they didn't make fun of it/me at all- at least not to my face, which I'm grateful for. They have unique boards and clothes of all kinds. I recommend reading the magazines they have by the couch in the back. Thank me later. read more

This place was new to me but not new to the game. Long time history with the skateboarding game is the story here. These guys are super cool and the quality of gear was awesome. Everything was there you could imagine to either fix your setup or get a fresh one. All apparel, bags and safety gear there, all at a good price. Amazing place read more

These guys are true pros. They made my daughter's first skateboard buying experience so awesome. The staff was so patient and helpful. I could not recommend this place enough!! read more

Looking for dunks? Don't bother back door as hell yall didn't even posted the shoe yet but yet there a line? There's no way they didn't backdoor it if people brought chairs. Very disrespectful when you bring it up to them saying that they're back door read more

cowtown skateboards in Phoenix they need better customer service!! came in to buy shoes but no help.

I'm 56 yo and bought my first skateboard there today. The staff was very helpful and gave me some great tips for the ideal skateboard that would suit my needs. Got home and started riding the board. Couldn't be happier with the choice of skateboard, which they helped me to pick out. read more

Sales and staff were extremely helpful, and products were of great quality. Really enjoyed the atmosphere and the dog added an extra touch. I would definitely recommend this place to literally anyone. 11/10 read more

I never expected to come here, but sometimes your kids will lead to you to all new places to write your Yelp reviews. . . My stepdaughter was looking for a blank skateboard deck to decorate and paint, and she knew about this place because her father went to school with the owner years ago. We looked around, got the deck, and received friendly service. Cool shop. Not really my thing, but if we want to get more skateboard stuff for my kid, I'll head here again. read more

Came in on March 1st and needed two bolts for my old longboard. Not only did they give me two new bolts, they also replaced the weaker bolts that were on my longboard free of charge. The guys in there are great and are very friendly. Highly recommend! read more

Can't believe some of the Karen level reviews. These guys have been awesome to my kid even though he has yet to drop a lot of money there.

The best buying experience. My guy Alex really took the time to get me in the board I need. I'm mid 40's and want to ride with my 12 year old and not break something or cash in a life insurance policy. I had a good working knowledge of the product circa 30 year ago. Alex really broke every component down with the pro/cons for my scenario. Talked to me about the high end and the low end and let me pick my setup. Very professional and knowledgeable, this is the skate shop to support and keep buying from.. Thank you, read more

Been a customer for years and spent a good amount of money at the shop, but I'm not sure if I'll be going back. Called to ask a question and the younger gentleman who answered responded in a rude tone "telling me to not be calling asking questions about that stuff again" wasn't really related but I guess he needed the ego boost over the phone. Could benefit from customer service workshop read more

Super dope shop, bought a board there a month ago and have been skating everyday since then. Haven't skated since I was 14 and honestly the whole experience was pretty nice. Even had 3 of my friends buy boards there since they just started too and they've been skating everyday with me and having fun. Overall, new to skating or not, recommend 100%. read more

I'm so upset at the experience I had at this location me and my friend went in bc my friend wanted to get back into skating and we went in to ask about getting a new board... with that being said my friend named the brand he used to use and the employee was so RUDE AND JUDGEY he literally told him "you can get that brand at Walmart bro we can't help you here" and we were so flabbergasted that we left with such negative feelings towards that place I would never recommend this place even to my worst enemy. 0/10 would never ever recommend. read more

I went in with no knowledge of longboards, and the guys working here helped me out tremendously. I came in with a disassembled longboard - and they put the entire thing together while showing me how to do it myself next time around. On top of that, they had such great attitudes the whole time. Top notch customer service, knowledge, and skills - will ABSOLUTELY be coming back soon. Thanks guys! read more

Really cool skate shop! Always super helpful and friendly! They have an amazing variety on boards and Cowtown is just like THE SPOT ya know!? They are long-standing supporters of local amateur skaters. Juli is the best! She really helped me out when it came time to choosing a board for my 9yr old read more

Good Covid safety, btw. Took my son there to get set up with a skateboard and whatever else he would need as a new skateboarder, and the staff was super helpful!! Definitely would recommend to family/friends! Plenty of selection for all skill levels, we left with a great board! read more

Alex you are amazing and full of knowledge about the skateboard industry. We purchased our very first skateboard from Alex today. He explained everything about skateboarding and how to assemble a skateboard to basic maintenance. This place has clothing skateboard and shoes. Great pricing and very cool place. read more

They are taking advantage of their customers during the pandemic, its sad to see. I was wanting to support a small business but with how they are treating their customers money during this time is just wrong. Sad to see that they are scamming the skateboarding community during this time. Don't recommend shopping here. read more

We stopped in to find a skateboard for my daughter and ended up with roller skates for Mom! You can tell this place has been in business for a while because of their friendly service. Even though it was our first time in, we felt like regulars! Love supporting this local skate shop! read more

Picked up a new board for my boyfriend. Had to call and order it ahead of time due to COVID. Easy to pick up for the drive up. Will be back!

Absolutely ridiculous! I ordered the skateboard my son wanted for his birthday and I get a call that they have oversold. Now no one has them available. Wish I would have purchased somewhere else then my son would have gotten the one thing he asked for. As a vendor you should have this in order! read more

Really great staff and quality products. Would definitely recommend over getting something crappy online. Loved the in-person shopping experience! read more

This was the best skateboard shop I've been too. The service was amazing. My tire had screwed off my long board and with being a college student my long board is my source of transportation and they fixed my board and only asked for 25 cents and return. Great service, will defiantly come again! read more
